3. Biography
Khalid bin Walid bin al Mughirah bin Abdullah bin
Umar bin Makhzum bin Yaqzah bin Marrah al-
Mahzumi is the commander for the Muslim army.
His ancestor’s name is Marrah and it is related to The
Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.
Khalid was born from a respective family because his
father Walid al-Mughirah was popular for his
generousity until he got his nickname AdilWalid.

Khalid’s mother’s name was Lubabah al- Sughra.Lubabah was
the daughter of Harris, a respected Quraish leader. She was
also the little sister of Maimunah, the wife of The Prophet
Muhammad S.A.W
In Khalid’s childhood days, he was already been trained
to be a commander. His expertise was riding horses and
weaponary.
During his teenage years, he was already been assigned to
lead the cavalry.
He showed his efficiency when leading the cavalry in the
Uhud battle. His split second decision to charge when
the Uhud archers disobeyed The Prophet’s orders, he
managed to defeat the muslim army.
5. Migration of Khalid Al-Walid
& His Title
It started when Walid, Khalid’s father stepped into
Masjidil Haram while The Prophet was reading the Al-
Quran.Walid went nearer to The Prophet to hear his
recitation.
After hearing such beautiful verses of the Quran, Walid got
out from the mosque and proclaimed to the public “Oh
God, honestly I heard what was recited by Muhammad, it's
not words made by human or the devil. I swear, the verses
is very beautiful and there is no poems that come close.
This incident melted Khalid’s heart. After the incident, he
got the title SAIFULLAH.
6. Grandeur
Khalid Al-Walid attended 50 battles and he won in all
his battles.
Title : Saifullah means “the sword of Allah”
The sword of Allah was named because he was the
man that fought for deenullah and won.

The Opening Of Makah: Won without any fights
Battle of Dajlah river: Khalid Ibn Walid vs Rustam
Battle of the bloody river: the river became black with
blood from the Persia’s wounded army.
