Islam
• Khalid Ibn ul Waleed is known as the Sword
of Allah or Saifullah. He had amazing military
skills and outstanding courage.
• He fought muslims in a few occasions like
Battle of Uhud. He was the son of Al Waleed
ibn ul Mugheerah, who wasn't a muslim. This
lead Khalid not to Embrace Islam at first
5. Khalid Ibn-ul-Waleed
• One day , a Muslim person named Abu
Baseer came from Makkah. He requested
Prophet to allow him to migrate to Madinah.
He complained about the suffering of the
Muslims in Makkah. Abu Baseer wanted the
prophet (pbuh) to ignore the treaty of
Hudaybiyah which prohibited Muslims from
accepting Makkans who defected from their
tribe. The prophet (pbuh) was unable
because he was bound by the treaty of
Hudaibiyah which he had sworn to in the
name of Allah. Qurayish came and
demanded prophet pbuh to hand Aba Baseer
to them. Prophet pbuh had to agree with a
heavy heart.

he did have the oppurtunity to live aharsh life in the dessert
of Bedouins. He really enjoined horse riding and fighting
with swords.
• " I am surprised that a man of your intelligence would
ignore the truth and let the goodness of Islam pass by him
Know that the Prophet asked me about you and I said that
Allah will bring you. So do not delay and make up for the
good you missed."
8. Khalid Ibn-ul-Waleed
• Enemy of Muslims
• Khalid was an enemy of the muslims as he fought muslims
being at the pagan’s side unfortunately, in the battle of
Uhud. But he claimed that whenever he fights against the
Muslims, he feels he is fighting the wrong side. During the
Battle of Trench, Khalid was still fighting against the
Muslims so the muslims prayed Thuhr during the battle and
Khalid did not attack them though he could! This prayer
drew him even closer to Islam.
9. Al Waleed ibn ul Waleed
Khalid’s brother, Al Waleed ibn ul Waleed, accepted Islam
before Khalid did.
Once the Prophet (pbuh) told Khalid’s brother, Al Waleed
ibn ul Waleed that "If Khalid came to us as a Muslim, we
would have welcomed him. No one who has a mind like
khalid would let islam escape him".
Not long after this event, Khalid recieved a letter from his
brother saying “I am surprised that a man of your
intelligence would ignore the truth, and let the goodness of
Islam pass by him………”
