Introduction
Leadership is the art of influencing and inspiring others to achieve a common goal. In today's
complex and ever-changing world, traditional leadership models are no longer adequate. We
need a new paradigm of leadership that is based on wisdom, compassion, and ethical decision-
making
What is wisdom-based leadership?
Wisdom-based leadership is a leadership approach that emphasizes the importance of
wisdom, compassion, and ethical decision-making. Wisdom-based leaders are able to see
the big picture, understand the complexities of human behavior, and make decisions that
are in the best interests of all stakeholders. They are also able to create a culture of trust
and respect, which is essential for building high-performing teams.

of wisdom-

leadership
Self-awareness
Wisdom-based leaders are deeply aware of their own
strengths, weaknesses, and biases. They are also able to
reflect on their experiences and learn from their mistakes.
Empathy
Wisdom-based leaders are able to understand and connect
with the feelings and perspectives of others. They are also
able to see the world from different points of view.
Compassion
Wisdom-based leaders are motivated by a desire to help
others. They are concerned with the well-being of all
stakeholders.
Ethical Decision-Making
Wisdom-based leaders make decisions that are based on
sound moral principles. They consider the long-term
consequences of their actions and strive to do what is right.

Wisdom-based leaders are able to see the big

 Courage: Wisdom-based leaders are willing to stand up for what they believe in.

There are a number of things that you can do to develop wisdom-based leadership
skills, including:
 Reflect on your own experiences.
 Seek out mentors and coaches.
 Read books and articles on wisdom and leadership.
 Participate in workshops and training programs.
How to develop wisdom-based leadership skills

Wisdom-based leadership is a powerful approach that can lead to positive change in
organizations and communities. By cultivating the qualities of wisdom, compassion,
