Nicaraguan Internship Plan
I am excited to let you know that I have been selected again to serve as a summer
intern with Go Tell Ministries. Go Tell is an evangelical ministry for teens from
sixth through twelfth grades. I was led last summer to serve, and know God has
called me back there this summer. Before my internship last summer, I had been a
camper at Go Tell for two years. After being an intern with Go Tell I have seen God
work in many ways through student s lives, intern s lives, and the lives of those
living in Nicaraguan villages. Last summer I was on the administrative team helping
to keep the camp in order, and making sure all churches were sufficiently informed of
the important information they needed. I also worked with the Ryde On team; they
bring ski boats to the Georgia Baptist Convention Center and have tubing and skiing
for the campers. The internship program includes leadershiptraining, camp ministry,

Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale
After completing the Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale, I see that there is
much need for improvement in certain sections. On the other hand, many areas need
no improvement at all. For example, the section on toileting and diapering needs no
improvement along with staff use of books with children and encouraging children s
use of books. All three of these areas scored a rating of seven, meaning that all
standards were met during my observationand there is no need for any type of
improvement. Although there are many areas that scored a seven, there are also
many areas that scored a one or a two, meaning there is much room for
improvement. For example, encouraging children to use language scored a one,
which shows us it needs much enhancement. Along with this, nature and science
scored a two and discipline scored a one. Both of these areas also need much
development and improvement. According to my ECERS score sheet, the section
on toileting and diapering scored a seven, the highest rating possible. This was
because, although not all the children are potty trained, the one s who are, are able
to recognize when they need to use the restroom and go on their own. Children who
need diapers changed are also checked at least every 2 hours. All sanitary procedures
are followed in this particular section and staff pleasantly responds to a childs

old protagonist in Dandelion Wine, but I am convinced that Bradbury took a pencil
and paper to my childhood. Part of the reason why Doug s character resonates with
me so much stems from Bradbury s use of symbolic language. Because symbolism
leaves the audience to interpret the text s meaning, every reader draws a different
interpretation of the text based on his or her own personal experiences. By picturing

New instruments were introduced in this section, the instruments introduced are the
timpani and the crash cymbals. The timpani and crash cymbals are two members of
the percussion section. The timpani and crash cymbals brought back a sentimental

because of how it happened. Ralph was never able to fully let it go; that s one

island. The boys left on the island could care less about the fact that those two boys
were killed and that blood was on their hands. Those boys were even excited about

Introduction
It wasn t until recently, a few years ago, that I decided what career I wanted to
pursue. I first started off joining the military right out of high school and after my
fist enlistment of six years did I know that the military career field I was is (Food

someone else alongside of them who s there to grow old with them; sometimes
things work out differently, but all and all there is usually someone that people
envision their lives with. In Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley s short story The Mortal
Immortal, the main character Winzy, who was Cornelius Agrippa s pupil, has tried
to win the hand of his beloved Bertha multiple times and has failed just as many.
Bertha and Winzy played a cat and mouse game for a few years; of chasing each
other around and going back and forth of wanting each other, but Winzy s lovefor
Bertha was always strong and true. One obstacle they faced came to fruition when
Bertha was adopted and became a part of a higher social class. Bertha s new found
wealth eventually led to tension between Bertha and Winzy; and also Bertha gets

Trends are not always a bad thing, contrary to popular beliefs. It s actually
something that can inspire change growth as I ve seen with my experiences.
Sometimes bias prejudice may produce certain disadvantages for targeted groups,
employment trends may be a benefit. Through my experiences in activities that I ve
engaged with, problems I ve encountered, the professional growth gained is one in
which I would like to share to others for the sole benefit of becoming a bridge builder

As a student athlete at the University of Illinois, I ve noticed a certain skew in the
ethnicity of staff hired at the University in comparison with the populations that they
serve. The ration between staff to student or even coach to student shares more
familiarity with those of a Caucasian back ground. Of the 19 Varsity sports
available within the University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics, only
two of them have head coaches that are of African American decent. This number is

negative impacts of telephone uses, especially mobile telephony, on human social
lives. The first negative impact brought by mobile telephoneis the use of public space
privately. According to research findings of Campbell and Park (2008), the negative
social impacts of mobile telephone technology firstly lied on using mobile telephone
in public space (e.g. park; restaurant; shop; school) as one s personalised public space
, that is, public space is appositely designated for personal objectives. In a public
