From analysis over 200 hospitals in Southern California from 2010 2014, I have
found that the varying sizes of the hospitals have a significant impact of the facilities
expense composition. There were three primary expenses that seemed to have a
strong correlation with each other and hospital size: Salaries expense, Purchased
Services, and Other General expenses. Taking note of these factors have not only

Salaries expense is a larger proportion of overall expenses for larger hospitals

that smaller hospitals do not have as much technology and equipment as larger

have access to their own HR services or facility support services such as a food
cafeteria. Conversely, smaller hospitals not have this privilege, and are forced to
outsource these services out to a HR company or food caterer. Another factor that
impacted the salaries expense was teaching status. Non teaching hospitals purchased
services expense averaged nearly 2% more than teaching hospitals. There are two

Skillet Chili Ingredients: 2 slices bacon, cut in ВЅ
1 onion, thinly sliced
ВЅ green pepper, diced
1 can kidney bean
ВЅ can chili sauce
2 tbsp. chili powder

1/8 tbsp. pepper

Preheat frying pan over medium heat for 3 minutes, add bacon, and cook for about 2
