In the progression from their preliminary task to the full product, the authors felt they learned more about improving video quality through editing techniques like match on action and the 180-degree rule. They also learned the importance of introducing the story before rushing into action. Additionally, they learned more about how horror films are made through watching opening sequences and research, realizing there is less action and more storytelling used to build tension and suspense in the genre.

2. Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in
the progression from it to the full product?
Looking back at the preliminary task, We feel that we have learnt more about how to improve
the quality of video ,for example, using more editing and video techniques like match on
action and 180 degrees rule in our horror opening sequence. We learnt what they were and
how to use them in our opening sequence. We learnt the importance of introducing the story
instead of rushing into the action.

3. • We learnt more information about horror and learnt more on horror films are made ,for
example, we watch a couple of horror opening sequences and learnt from the research part
that there isn’t a lot of action in horror films so this made us use less action clips and use
more story telling clips to build tension and suspense. We learnt that there are a variety of
sub genres in horror like slasher, thriller and more.
