progression from it to the full product?

My frontcoverfor mypreliminaryproductionwasextremelybasic;ithada lack of fonts,whereasonmyfinal productionIused
a mixture of fontswhichrelate tothe genre,hip-hop.Iknow thisdue tomyresearchintoprofessional hip-hopmagazinesandI
have takenideasfromthem.My preliminaryproduction’smainimage forthe frontcoverwasn’tcropped,itwassimplypasted
ontothe page,thismeantitdidn’thave the lookof a realisticprofessional magazine.Formyfinal musicmagazine production,I
croppedmyimage and useda background.Thisgivesitmore of a professional lookaswell asmakingthe magazine standout.
Furthermore,itallowsthe readerstoclearlysee the coverlineswhereasonthe preliminarytask,theyaren’tveryclearand
certainlywouldn’tstandoutoverothermagazines. The mastheadonmypreliminarytaskistoobasicand doesn’tattract
attentionwhenhavingaquicklookat it.Nobodywould take muchnotice of ‘fchnews’due tothe blandblackand white display
howeverwith‘DEAL’itstandsoutin bigboldfontand a clearcolour.There is a lack of conventionsonmypreliminarytask;for
example there isn’tamaincoverline,apuff,a skyline,anissue numberora range of fonts.All of whichare includedinmyfinal
production.MyskillsinPhotoshophave clearlyimproved,aswe cansee fromthiscomparison.
