WHAT HAVE YOU
LEARNT ABOUT
TECHNOLOGIES FROM
THE PROCESS OF
CONSTRUCTING THIS
PRODUCT?
 The difference of camerawork between our preliminary task
and our final piece is huge. It is clear that as a group we have
all gained a lot of experience about the technologies
throughout this process.
 In using a tripod for the final film compared to using a hand-
held camera for the preliminary task proved to be a huge
success for us. The tripod made sure that the footage we shot
was more accurate and far less shakey. With the hand-held
camera the cameraman had to use their arm to try and steady
the camera whereas with the tripod instead of focusing on
trying to keep the camera straight you could assess what was
going on in front of you and make any extra changes about the
layout before pressing play if necessary.
 Here’s a reminder of my preliminary task and the camera
work.

CAMERAWORK
 Our editing had improved significantly from the preliminary
task we did. To edit the preliminary task we used iMovie
whereas to edit our final piece we used Final Cut Pro.
 The ability in editing drastically increased due to the fact
there were more sound effects, lighting effects, music and
many more other editing effects on Final Cut Pro that made
our film much more improved than the preliminary task.
 Final Cut Pro was especially useful when editing in the sniper
effect when the sniper is on the bank, aiming down at the
victim with the briefcase.

 I would say, for next time to improve the technology level even
more would be to have a better microphone, where you cant
hear hardly any backing noise but just the sound of the people
talking.
 I would also shoot more footage of the film so that there is
more to edit and a wider variety of film to choose on.
