1. What have you
learnt about
technologies from
the process of
constructing this
product?
2. Pre-production Planning
Before the film was made we decided that the
film needed to be in a clear setting that was
gloomy to establish the scene. We did this so that
it wouldn’t give the wrong impression on what our
film is about.
We had very little idea on how to use final cut
before hand but we knew we had to use it to help
keep the fast pace we wanted it to have.
3. Technology Used
When we actually filmed we used the HDCHS80.
no one in our group had any experience with a
camera and we believed this was a good starting
equipment.
We all had to use final cut in the editing of our film
and none of us had used it before. It was difficult
to use t the start but as time went by we got some
experience with the software.
While the rest of the group continued with the
editing one of our group members used garage
band to make the music. He seemed to have
some experience using it whereas no one else did.
4. Successes
I believe that the main success of the different
technology's we used would be the camera. We
seemed to get the hang of it pretty easily and this
helped us get it done quickly. The camera on the
tripod was easily maneuverable when being used
for shots such as pans.
5. Less successful
We had very few problems during the time with
the technology. But our main problem I would say
was during filming. Due to the weather it was very
hard to get good quality sound with the wind
being as strong as it was. We had to counter this
problem by recording some of the audio after
then editing over the actual film.
