Bauer Media and TimeInc UK could potentially distribute the media product. While Bauer publishes some magazines for similar audiences, their magazines do not focus on jazz. TimeInc UK only publishes two music magazines, leaving an opportunity for a jazz-focused magazine to fill a gap. Both companies have strong social media presences that would benefit the product. Ultimately, TimeInc UK may be a better choice since it has fewer existing music magazines that could compete, and the target audience aligns more with its existing magazines.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

2. I first started by researching Bauer media, I found that Bauer
have a wide range of magazines and publish a magazine called
Q which shares some of the same characteristics of my
magazine’s target audience however, they aren’t very similar in
age .Q targets an audience of 30-40 I would be targeting a
more younger generation of 15-19. Bauer do not publish a
Jazz genre of magazine , therefore Bauer may think about
publishing one because it is a product they have not sold yet.
Bauer have a wide range of social media for their magazines
which would work well for my product due to the range of
social media it would be available on . I think Bauer would be a
good company to Publish my magazine with due to the
popularities and the well known brand image of some of their
magazines available.
Bauer Media
3. Upon reflection I believe Bauer will still be suitable to publish my magazine due to the
genre of music magazines they have and the social media they have for their
magazines.
4. Future While researching Future I found they only have a small
range of music magazines available , these brands include
: Bass ; guitarists; Acoustic and blues . Some more are
available but from the publishing companies I have
researched they have a smaller variety of products
available . This works well because this gives a gap in the
market for my product. They also have a range of
technology and apps which would be good for my
magazine. They don’t have a jazz magazine however ,
blues could be classed as very similar due to this I don’t
think they would sell my magazine however, it would be a
good company to . It also doesn’t have many magazines
that are aimed to my target audience and age range,
which again would create a gap in the market for my
magazine however, with products similar eg. Blues and
acoustic I don’t think this company would be a good
choice to publish my magazine.
5. TimeInc UK
Time has 60 brands available ,I found out it doesn't
have many music magazines which could
encourage them to publish my product . It has
music magazines such as uncut and NME. While
researching these magazines I found that NME has
a wide variety of music which it looks at which
could prove a problem while wanting to publish
my product with them , NME however, does tend
to look at more mainstream music which works
well in my magazine favour because of the genre
of jazz . NME also has a wide target audience
however, I think they concentrate on the younger
generation which will also prove a problem with my
target audience being so young.
6. While looking at uncut I found the age range was more for an older generation and
that it was a more classic rock magazine. I also found Time has social media for the
magazines they publish which meets the needs of my magazine because of the social
media that my product will have . It also meets the needs of my target audience
because of the age range . I do think Time would be good to publish my magazine
because they don’t have many music magazines that they publish and mine is different
to the ones they do . It would allow them to gain more of younger audience which
would also benefit them and would allow them to have more of a range . However,
only having 2 music magazines may prove a problem because of the wide range of
NME however, I think this wont have much impact on my magazine.
