WHAT KIND OF MEDIA INSTITUTION MIGHT
DISTRIBUTE YOUR MEDIA PRODUCT AND
WHY?
TIME INC
Time Inc. is one of the largest branded media companies
in the world reaching more than 130 million people each
month across multiple platforms. It publishes over 90
magazines which include the likes of NME which is
similar to my magazine regarding its Target audience of
young adults. I have an advantage with distruting via
Time Inc as they akready have experiece and knowledge
within this field regarding where to distribute it to target
the specific target audience. This means a higer chance
of my magazine being more successful as Time inc have
an enstablished reputation which means a larger
consumer base for my magazine. Although NME is quite
similar to Blitz its still catergorised differently as they do
not publish a magazine of my genre therefore by
publuashing my magazine means it wont conflict with any
of their existing magazines as there is none wirthin that
category.
BAEUR MEDIA GROUP
Bauer Media Group is a European-based media
company, headquartered in Hamburg, Germany
that manages a portfolio of more than 600
magazines, over 400 digital products and 50 radio
and TV stations around the world. Their published
magazines include Kerrang and Q magazine who
have simlar target audience of Blitz (young males
and females). The gravitas and size of Baeur
means it is a giant within the industry with the
power to reach an audience of a global scale thus
meaning more success for Blitz. Although they
have a very large portfolio there is still a gap for my
magazine to fill as the genre has not been fully
fuffilled yet so by publishing Blitz means it would
benefit their portfolio even more.

  • 2. TIME INC Time Inc. is one of the largest branded media companies in the world reaching more than 130 million people each month across multiple platforms. It publishes over 90 magazines which include the likes of NME which is similar to my magazine regarding its Target audience of young adults. I have an advantage with distruting via Time Inc as they akready have experiece and knowledge within this field regarding where to distribute it to target the specific target audience. This means a higer chance of my magazine being more successful as Time inc have an enstablished reputation which means a larger consumer base for my magazine. Although NME is quite similar to Blitz its still catergorised differently as they do not publish a magazine of my genre therefore by publuashing my magazine means it wont conflict with any of their existing magazines as there is none wirthin that category.

BAEUR MEDIA GROUP Bauer Media Group is a European-based media company, headquartered in Hamburg, Germany that manages a portfolio of more than 600 magazines, over 400 digital products and 50 radio and TV stations around the world. Their published magazines include Kerrang and Q magazine who have simlar target audience of Blitz (young males and females). The gravitas and size of Baeur means it is a giant within the industry with the power to reach an audience of a global scale thus meaning more success for Blitz. Although they have a very large portfolio there is still a gap for my magazine to fill as the genre has not been fully fuffilled yet so by publishing Blitz means it would benefit their portfolio even more.
