COVER LETTER
To whom this may concern,
My name is Fred Launder and I would be interested in applying for a role in your film, perhaps as an
editor or writer.
I am currently in my last semester at SAE Institute. My experiences include directing, editing, writing,
producing, acting and recording sound. During my time at SAE I have tried many different roles which
has made me more versatile.
I am very creative and have a great mind and feel for editing. I have experience on Avid Media
Composure and Adobe Premiere. I also enjoy the writing side of film as a have a creative and
humorous mind. Although I usually stick to writing comedy’s rather than other genres.
I am also currently in a production company called “Blue Boots” with a few of my colleges. We
specialize In short films but are also open to music videos and other sorts of media.
I have gained great experiences and knowledge at SAE and I believe it has given me a great
opportunity to strive in the film Industry. The experiences I have had in the short films that I have
been apart of have been valuable and has allowed me to improve on each film as I have progressed.
