How effective is the combination of
 your main product and ancillary
               texts?
I believe that we did try to use different type techniques/skills in
order to combine our main product and the ancillary texts. For
example in both products we used similar age ranges of the band
members and performers. We aimed our Music video and CD
album to an audience between the age of 14-18 years old so
therefore we also used band members and performers between
this age. In additional, we also tried to combine our two products
by using bright colours to establish brand identity and to show that
our products are aimed at audiences who listen to a pop genre.
Furthermore, in both products we have used people from different
backgrounds in order to show that our products are aimed at a
mainstream mixed audiences from different backgrounds and
ethnicities.

  • 1. How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
  • 2. I believe that we did try to use different type techniques/skills in order to combine our main product and the ancillary texts. For example in both products we used similar age ranges of the band members and performers. We aimed our Music video and CD album to an audience between the age of 14-18 years old so therefore we also used band members and performers between this age. In additional, we also tried to combine our two products by using bright colours to establish brand identity and to show that our products are aimed at audiences who listen to a pop genre. Furthermore, in both products we have used people from different backgrounds in order to show that our products are aimed at a mainstream mixed audiences from different backgrounds and ethnicities.
