2. Before I designed my album cover I
researched other signed artists in order to
standardize my work in same quality as
professional albums in the market.
I researched CD digipaks with my genre of
music to find similarities and important
factors that I can use in my work.

Before I decided on the images I will use for
my CD digipak I had a practice photoshoot.
This allowed me to experiment and get some
audience feedback on my practice front
cover.

ahead in his career.

7. Influenced by Andrew Goodwin’s theory that
close-ups of the artists gives them the
representation and publicity they require, I have
chosen a close-up image for my front cover and
back cover.
Also my artist is subject to close relationship
with the audience as they can view his emotions
closely.

8. Marketing Audience
One of the ways I did this is by exposing
different brand in the music video e.g. his
chain. This is very common in rap culture and
mainstream hip hop, therefore it markets a large
audience.
