The document discusses feedback received throughout a media project. Feedback was gathered from a variety of people, including peers of different ages, genders, and media literacy. Most feedback came from other media students. This feedback helped improve initial ideas, a music video, packaging design, and magazine advertisement. The most substantial feedback was on initial ideas, which supported decisions and helped develop the project. Without this feedback, the project may have been more difficult. Overall, the feedback helped improve the quality and understanding of the work. In the future, the author will focus on time management to allow more feedback incorporation.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

2. Throughout my project, I received feedback from a variety of people including media
literate an non media literate peers of young and old ages as well as from both genders.
However, most of the feedback that I received was from other media students from
my class. The feedback helped me on a number of tasks throughout my project
including initial ideas, final music video, digi pak and magazine advert.
Having a variety of people giving me feedback has meant that the results are more
general and they are less likely to be biased opinions in any way as the feedback isn't
coming from just one group or gender. Also, because most of the feedback has come
from media literate peers, who are carrying out the same processes as myself, they were
able to give me more constructive criticism and help me further improve my work.
The level of response that I gathered also varied on each project and I put a lot of
time and effort especially into my initial ideas for example as this was what gave me a
base to work from and develop my music video. I also received a lot of feedback
regarding my final product which helped me to understand the positive aspects of my
work and the things that I had done well. I focused more on gaining feedback in
certain areas of my work and less on others, as I felt things such as my initial ideas
were more significant than my drawn storyboard for example. However I was still
aware of the feedback I received and this helped me to make positive and useful
changes.
3. The most substantial of my feedback was the initial ideas as I felt that this was the
most important stage at the time, I needed the feedback in order to support my
decision and to help make a start on my project. Without gaining this feedback, my
project may have been much harder to complete from the start and I may have
struggled to further develop and improve my own ideas without the help of others. I
decided to create an in depth survey using SurveyMonkey which asked people which
aspects they most expected to see and the aspects which they felt were most important
in the music video. I also asked them which ideas and themes they felt would be best
and what they would be most interested in seeing. The survey included both technical
and simple questions which could be answered by media literate as well as non media
literate audiences.
4. I feel that the feedback I received for my first cut of my music video helped me enormously to
make simple but effective changes which ultimately helped me to improve the quality of my
project and this allowed me to create a better understanding for the audience.
I also gained sufficient feedback for my magazine advert as well as my digi pak. This helped me
massively to make again, small but significant changes which overall helped me to improve the
quality and look of my product. For example, some of the feedback that I gained on my
magazine advert regarded the initial layout of the release dates and release information that was
placed at the bottom of the advert. That feedback suggested that I moved this to the center of
the advert and this helped to make it much clearer and more effective. I also gained some
feedback on my final magazine advert however, due to deadline restrictions, I didn’t have
sufficient time to make or consider making these improvements. Fortunately this feedback was
only minor suggestions and I felt that these would not need to be changed as it would have little
effect on the overall quality of my work.
5. Overall, through gaining my feedback, I have ultimately learned that I can be confident
and go forward with my own ideas and ways of production when producing my own
work. I received very few negative comments regarding my ideas and the work that I
produced and any constructive criticism I received helped me massively and took as
much of this on board as I could and I felt this was an important part in the
development and improvement of my work.
Finally, I learned that I have a lot of room for improvement and development within
my work and I could improve my creativity if I was to carry out the project again.
Another element that I could improve on if I was to do the project all over again
would be my time management as this would have allowed me to spend more time
gaining feedback and ideas rather than focusing on work that I had fallen behind on. In
future, this is one of the things that I will focus on most when carrying out my work in
order to improve the overall quality.
