Se7en Title Analysis

2. The title sequence to SE7EN is very well done in
my opinion because it is very fitting for the
genre as it made me wonder what a disturbing
experience I was in for. This title sequence is a
detail-orienting title sequence as it involves the
titles being placed in front of overlaying
imagery and footage. The titles are hand-written
stylised which could symbolise how
gritty and rough the movie will be. Also the
music in the background is haunting and
disturbing which will keep the audience in
suspense throughout the start of the movie and
is a good way to keep them curious as to how
insane this person is. In conclusion, I think that
this is a very well put together title sequence
and did a good job of preparing me for the
rest of the movie.
