not psychological (in other words, related to emotion), but instead physiological (medical). I expect
internal validity since these animals are not giving any specific treatment currently. Any specific
change in behavior indicates a causal relationship among the variables. One consideration is that my
sample size is small, but this is not uncommon when dealing with studies in the equine field.
Another is that some animals may have past psychological damage since many are rescues. It is
possible that aggression is in response to unknown problems (masked medical issues) that have no
relation to behavior. This would mean that attention would not provoke a change. As a final

Twisted Hero Essay Terrorism, one of the most twisted causes in the world, is seen as heroic to a
some people. And when considering cultural ways of viewing heros, we generally put them on the
highest pedestals for what they do. They are seen as admirable and an image people strive to be.
But, a twisted herois not some who is put on that pedestal. They are not admired and look upon as
great. By definition twisted means unpleasantly, or unhealthily abnormal. Also, if you just think

MRC Medical Communications. I was asked to design a poster for a barbecue that the Church
of the Assumption is holding in September. I have attached my design below. Since Susan has

to say whether the co op was paid or not. Susan Rector did not return my emails or Eileen s calls.
Just as a footnote to this subject, I have since done some research and have learned that unpaid

begins, as to the conditions and obligations on both parts. Also regarding the start date, she was

The media and advertisements are meant to influence our everyday lives in society. Young girls
are being exposed today more than ever to the over sexualized images of women within the media,
advertisements and in pop culture. Young girls are seeing these types of images everyday either in
magazines, television shows, movies or fashion. The research questions I propose to explore: Are
the images that young girls are exposed to within the media influencing their body image and
self esteem? I would also like to study: Could the ways women are exemplified in the media lead
young girls to have a poor self body image? Finally, Can the influences of the media and
advertisements lead young girls to depression or develop eating disorders? The research questions
can be examined through qualitative research. Focus groups and conducting in depth interviews
are the best qualitative methods to use when doing research that deals with people s personal
experiences and emotions. In order to understand how the media could influence young girls
attitudes towards body image, you have to see the world as they do. By doing in depth interviews
lets the researcher personally explore the issues through young girl s perspective. By interviewing

The days I was caught in the storm of depression united me with Jenny Lawson s second book
that became my therapy for that period of time. It was recommended by a close friend who knew
