expect of a pet lizard. They combine their sheer beauty and low maintenance and
docile tempers, making it an all around great pet to own (Rhacodactylus, p. 16). In the

Heating and lighting are not necessary for crested geckos, keeping the cost of the

ivory trader named Kurtz. Marlow narrates his adventures with a tinge of apathy for
the enslaved Congolese who are repressed beneath the foot of the colonizing

ABSTRACT
In the present work, PVA Ag nanocomposite films with thickness 0.18 mm, constant
silver content (0.4 wt. %) and with different time of reaction (0.1, 3, 5, 7, 9 h) were
prepared by chemical reduction method. Structure, surface topology,
photoluminescence and electrical properties of PVA Ag nanocomposite were studied
using x ray diffraction (XRD), electrometer, atomic force microscope (AFM) and
photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy were used to characterize the prepared
nanocomposites. X ray patterns showed the existence of Ag nanoparticles within the
PVA polymeric matrix with face centered cube (FCC) phase. It was found that the
PL intensity for all samples increases, while the root mean square (rms) roughness
decreases as the time of reaction is increased. Current voltage characteristics were
analyzed to explore carrier transport mechanisms in Ag PVA nanocomposite and the
results showed that there is an improvement in the electrical conductivity of the PVA
Ag films and Frank poole emission is the prevailing transport mechanism for all
samples.

School shootings have become a major problem not only in South Carolina, but in
the United States. School shootings have shockingly become more likely now than
ever. A recent report showed that over 230 school shootings have arose since 2013,
meaning that there has been at least 1 school shooting per week for the last 4 years.
Once students experience these traumatic happenings, the district as a whole receives
lower standardized test scores, lessened student enrollment and even frightened
parents. Parents begin to lose faith in the school system and no longer find comfort
in sending their child to and from that school. By definition, school shootings are
anytime a firearm discharges a live round inside a school building or on a school

Sometimes, the intensity of stress causes anxiety or frustration. Which is why for
the most part, stress is taken as a negative impact on an individual. Whether that
stress comes from school, money, environment, work or all of them, everyone
walks the same path of stress sometimes without even realizing it. Although many
people perceive stress in a negative way, there s some surprising benefits of stress
that we are not aware of. It all comes down to the basic element of what stress is.

and digest response in which hormones send adrenaline and other transmitters to your

Unfortunately though, our understanding of this disorder is limited. Contributing to
this is the fact that for several decades, there was only one theory on depression,
which was the monoamine theory. This theory rationalized that depression was due
to an absolute or relative deficiency of monoamines and that antidepressants work by
correcting this deficiency (Willner, Scheel KrГјger, Belzung, 2013). Only within the
last decade or two have there been new proposals on the causes of depression. These
new proposals have helped to increase our understanding of this disorder as well as
highlight flaws in the original theory. Among these is the neurogenesistheory of
depression.
This theory was established by BL Jacobs, H van Praag, and FH Gage (2000)
through a review of work that had been performed in the 1990s. Upon evaluation of
the previous literature, they found that drugs that increase serotonin such as d,l
fenfluramine also stimulate hippocampal neurogenesis. Due to this, they theorized
that the birth of new neurons in the hippocampus was an important factor in the
