Positive And Non Critical Light
positive and non critical light as one of our strongest allies in the Middle East. The
media also looked into the countries that surrounded Iran and saw them as potential
bullies towards Iran and, in turn, the United States and its assets. At this point, the
Shah was the primary figurehead and there was little to no attention given to those
that opposed him and his regime within his own country. Reporters focused more on
how the Shah was positively affected his people (e.g. improved standard of living,
increased wages, westernization, infrastructure development, etc.) This gave a very
positive light to Iran, even though the Shah was still running an authoritarian police
state.

many Americans and the continued arms sales to Iran. During this time, another
Iranian topic that frequented the news was the decline of the economy and the impact

Throughout the revolution that began in 1978, most western countries, especially

A Brief Note On The Remote Systems Administration
Introduction: in order to have local business enterprise that on the smaller size
there needs to be a consultant that can provide the company to associate with the
employees that are new. One decent approach to this would be simply setting up a
system in order to get a lot more use out of your PCs and peripherals. This is
especially true for the small and home business clients. To share a solitary
broadband, we have the Systems permit that goes through with the Internet
association among different PCs and PC clients. These clients find themselves
being able to share documents amongst personal computers easily and effortlessly.
With Systems administration we see that permits one to utilize a printer that is
associated with an alternate PC, and to be able to access assets that are different
and media. An example of this would be music and pictures that are remotely put
away within the workplace environment. The Remote systems administration
allows for you to have a more appealing and ostensibly office environment that is
secure that contain little links hanging around. It can give one a lot more
adaptability when it comes to finding your IT unit, and you can utilize your
portable PC from any place in your office. It can also permit you to give your
guests some remote web access or hot work area offices. With this Ethernet based
wired systems administration can even now have the edge over remote hardware in
being more dependable, lower cost and offering quicker association
Analysis Of The Cradle Will Rock And William Randolph
Hearst
Although Hearst denounced the corruption amongst capitalists of his own stature,
regardless of his own tarnished name, a recently uncovered letter from Berlin to
Hearst proves his collusion with federal investigators commissioned by congress in
the hunt for communist infiltration in Hollywood and the entertainment industry. The
letter claims that Hearst s people have the complete assurance from [their] friends in
Washington that the result of the investigation made by them ... of the motion picture
industry is available to [them] ... This should be extremely valuable (History).
Furthermore, Hearst used his Yellow Press to push allegations of communist activity

Theatre Project. In his attacks on Hollywood and the Federal Theatre Project, Hearst
was driven by selfish and possibly personal ulterior motives. Between the Federal
Theatre Project, Hollywood, and William Randolph Hearstexists one very crucial
connection, Orson Welles(Allen, Carmichael). The Boy Wonder entertainer, who at
21 years old directed the groundbreaking play The Cradle Will Rock , which
criticized public figures just like Hearst. But it isn t the production of this play that
brought young Welles ever promising career to an abrupt halt, to this William
Randolph Hearst is responsible. It was not uncommon in 1920 s and 30 s film and
literature to allude to the ostentatious capitalist figures of the times. Figures like
The Ethics Of Kant s Life
I will begin by saying that according to Kant, consequences doesn t have any
connection with our deeds: right or wrong. Morality requires us to do the right
things in life: it is a command known as the imperative. This, indeed, forces me to
follow what Kant said: doing the good deeds ignoring the thought of what will be the
result. This ethicsof Kant rather wants me to save the lives in the ship of my other
nine cruise worker. This dilemma forced me to think about my morals in life of
being good. Before I say what is wrong with the decision at that instance of not
saving the lives, the following dilemma on that particular website of whether or
not I will save the lives of my co workers obligated me at first with the thoughts:
why should I endanger my life for the sake of others? If I die, what will happen to
my family? There was particularly no wise reason of putting my own life at risk
for the sake of other people who were not even my family, rather just coworkers. I
was lucky enough that my friends were there for me to save my life. Maybe, it was
a signal from the God that I should save my own life first. Or it was a signal from
Him that it was their time to leave this world, but I still have a long way to go. On
the other hand, I was thinking about what will happen of the fact when my family
gets to know about my selfish act. The act of not saving lives of others and
choosing to save mine in the first case would rather be known as a selfish act.

The influence of Metropolitan Filaret s divine context and ambiguity are evident in
the document. In speaking to the unity of God and tsar, Metropolitan Filaret makes
the connection very clear. He wrote, We thus became convinced that the problem
of improving the condition of serfs was a sacred inheritance bequeathed to Us by
Our predecessors, a mission which, in the course of events, Divine Providence has
called upon Us to fulfill. The focus is that the time for emancipation is now, whereas
it had not been time before, and that the tsar is fulfilling the will of God. While there

In addition to being able to read scripture themselves, peasants also could read church
liturgy and practices, which created questions and enabled peasants to see how
insufficient their parish priest was. Peasants began sending petitions and grievances
to local and national church offices; they wanted increased authority over their own
parishes, something the Orthodox Church did not want to give. The Russian Orthodox
Church viewed this increased interest among the peasantry very negatively. The
Church often interpreted peasant activism as a negative consequence of secular
enlightenment that ultimately would harm the Orthodox faith through the dilution of
its traditional hierarchical principles. Thus, the church became increasingly
reactionary and isolated itself further from the peasantry interacting even less and
trying to distance the peasantry from doctrine and liturgy. The Church saw peasant
interest as directly undermining their power instead of a development of a more
devoted populous. This led to the paradox of a weakening political and culture power
of the Church while simultaneously the peasantry became increasingly devoted to
localized religious practice. The gap widened even further between the Church and
the peasantry due to the Church s fear and mistrust of the peasantry. As the Church
distanced themselves from the peasantry in relational and spiritual realms, it also
tried to reassert its control over the peasantry, primarily through

Syncretizing English, American, Burmese, and Indian Cultures English colonial
styles greatly influenced Indian and American styles. Late 19th and early 20th
century Burmese, Indian, and American pieces ascend directly from English furniture
designs. When an influx of English people went to India, local craftsmen imitated
English styles, but with native materials and techniques. Since the British led the
American colonies, their styles have influenced the United States, and the Gilded Age
period was no exception. Putting the Anglo Indian pieces with the American and

With my arrangement, the visual organization of the space is meaningful and invites
examination of its conceptual foundation (Robinson, 32). Viewers would read the
labels and consider why these pieces were put together and what that says about the
cultures represented. They could make connections between not only the pieces, but
also the countries from which each piece stems. I would also arrange the furniture
chronologically to show progression of the styles throughout the Gilded Age, because
more designers integrated Indian styles into the European styles as time progressed.
Chronological order would also make the comparisons more accurate. Furthermore,
this arrangement would encourage thought about similarities of individuals across
cultures. These pieces were used by people of English, American, Burmese, and
Indian backgrounds. Connections can be drawn between mostly higher class
individuals in each region because those are the people who would be buying and
using these furniture items. Uses and users of these items are similar across cultures,
which fosters dialogue and connections between them. My arrangement would show
the bond between not only the English with Burmese and Indian cultures, but also
that of English with American and American with Burmese and

The book The Hunger Games was written by Suzanne Collins and it s the first book
out of the trilogy she has written. Collins uses a mixture of modern and classical as
elements in this story and it allows for any age reader to enjoy it. Some the literary
devices she uses in the book are setting, symbolism, and themes. It s everything you
could want in a book because it has a little bit of each genre, like action, romance,
comedy, and even mystery. This book will have you sitting at the edge of your seat

randomly drawing one male and one female from each district to compete in the

When I Was Puerto Rican Character Analysis
When I Was Puerto Rican is a memoir detailing the author Esmeralda Santiago s
life, which began in her native home of Puerto Rico. Macun, a rural barrio is where
she spends the beginning of her childhood, exploring and living off the land. As the
novel progresses she constantly moves from place to place in Puerto Ricobecause of
her parents rocky relationship. Towards the end of the novel as she s getting older
her mother decides that it is time to make the border crossing and move to New York
Cityin search of a new and better life for her family. Throughout the novel When I
Was Puerto Rican, coming of age is a resounding factor and her budding maturity
helps her to overcome the struggles that she and her family go through in Puerto
Rico as well as during the border crossing and the life that follows. I push my cart
away, towards the apples and pears of my adulthood, their nearly seedless ripeness
predictable and bittersweet (p. 4), the novel begins with Esmeralda as an adult
inspecting a guava at a store in New York, bringing back memories of her
childhood. While reminiscing on her childhood she also refers to the predictability
and boringness that comes with growing into adulthood. The story of her childhood
begins in a shack made of tin where her father Pablo, mother Ramona, her two
younger sisters and she live. They live in the barrio of Macun, where she enjoys the
freedom and simplicity of life in the countryside, she also takes advantage of the

Macbeth Consequences
Every action has a consequence
Every action has a consequence, this statement relates to Shakespeare s play
Macbeth , as Macbeth is a tragic hero who destroys himself by his own wicked and
selfish ambitions. At the beginning of the play Macbeth is portrayed as a
courageous, noble hero of Scotland who has bravely won victory over the war. After
this win, Macbeth and Banquo come across three supernatural beings who
prophesies Macbeth s rein as king of Scotland. As the story unfolds, the witches
prophecy is proven to be correct and Macbeth soon becomes a tyrant king who is
willing to murder anyone who will bring his rein to an end. Macbeth s spouse, lady
Macbeth is also shown destroying her reputation of a noble woman through her
barbaric actions. The statement every action has a consequence also correlates to the
film the lion king directed by Roger Allers and Rob Minkoff. The similarities of
scars reckless actions to lead Simba and Mufasa (the king) into a stampede of
wildebeests that ended in the death of Mufasa, is what led to scars downfall and
death. Therefore, Shakespeare play Macbeth implements the statement every action
has a consequence through various ways, many similar to the film the lion king.
Macbeth s actions are what lead to the consequence of death. His first significant
choice that lead up to his fatal consequence was to kill king Duncan. This ambition
originated in the early stages of the text when the witches caught the heroes attention

Satire In Jonathan Swift
Satire is a literary way to express the imperfections of the society. It is a technique
used by writers who tries to highlight the thought of an individual or a society about
corruption, foolishness which is usually attacked through irony, derision, or wit.
Satire and irony are in close connection with each other. The irony is a form of
communication which is usually replacing the meaning spoken by other. Therefore,
the irony makes the difference between what is said and what is meant. Irony is a
literary technique synonymous with satire, in which there is an inconsistency between
the literal and implied meaning of either a situation or a statement. (Breanna
Derlagen). The characteristic of the satire is to depict the reality in a comic ironic...

According to these lines the laws in this world are short and easily admissible,
therefore, the lawyers and the court don t have to contend so much by the structure
of the legal system. Indeed, the writer criticizes here the legal system of England,
because the laws there are long and intricately issued which makes it difficult to

reality. He observes that how these people with higher intellectual are behaving with

Building And Evaluating Experiential Learning Mechanisms
Building and evaluating experiential learning mechanisms requires a deep
understanding of not only general learning theory, but also the principal ways in
which material can be taught to students. According to authors of Effective
Instruction for Stem Disciplines: From Learning Theory to College Teaching, there
are numerous traditional learningmethods that are important for our background. The
first, which they call study based, is based on student focus on materials, without a
strong active component. For most students, especially those of younger ages, this
likely occurs most at home, where students independently study for traditional
examinations. The second traditional learning method, retrieval, they describe as the
conversion of study based learning into an active learning method. Retrieval
encourages students to practice accessing information to make it so regular that using
it in later informational synthesis is already simple. The third traditional learning
method, which they call schema building, is learning based on situational practice,
ensuring that students can appropriate handle the real life aspects and applications of
a concept (Mastascusa et al., 2011).
Unfortunately, these traditional methods of learning are not always indicative of
modern, dynamic education. More modern learning techniques provide students with
a far more interactive experience. In one such method, students combine the first and
third aforementioned traditional study methods. Students

Additional city populations include Aleppo (4.2 million), Homs (1.6 million), Hama
(1.6 million), Lattakia (1 million). The climate is particularly desert; hot, dry, sunny
summers (June to August) and mild, rainy winters (December to February) along the
coast (Nationsonline.org, 2017).
Tuberculosis, also known as (TB), has been around for decades and is still active
across the globe. This infectious disease is caused by the bacterium called
Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The bacteria are commonly found in the lungs, but it
can spread to other organs such as the kidneys, spine, and brain. As expected, many
people believe that everyone who is exposed to TB will become ill, however this
not true. Regarding this, there are two TB related conditions exist: latent TB
infection (dormant) and TB disease (active). As evidence shows, you can die from
the disease if you do not seek treatment in a timely manner (CDC, 2017a). Anyone
can become infected with TB if they breathe in the bacteria that is spread by tiny
air droplets when a person coughs or speaks (CDC, 2017b). Further testing, such as
a chest x ray and a sample of sputum (mucus), is necessary to see whether the person
has TB disease (CDC, 2017c).

Walmart s Success Of The Global Market
Walmart s Success in the Global Market
In terms of Identify Basic Appeal which concerns suitability of climate, restriction
on certain items, access to material, and others Walmart has used this step of the
market screening process for much of its international business ventures (Wild and
Wild, 2013, p.301). For instance, in Brazil the tropical temperature (which
normally does not fall below 20В°C throughout the year) has apparently influenced
the type of apparel that the company sells in its stores (World Travel Guide, 2016;
Walmart, 2016). Because, within the stores of Walmart in Brazil, one can find
clothing made from fabric as in, cotton and linen, which are material suited for the
warmer weather found in Brazil (Walmart, 2016). Whereas, for a country like
Canada within Walmart stores, clothing can be found that are tailored for each of the

##hropomorphizing Animal Characters In Yann Martel s
Life...
Authors anthropomorphize animal characters to allow readers to fully understand an
animal s actions or thoughts. By doing so, the reader is able to comprehend why an
animal does a certain action or how an animal behaves towards a human or another
animal. One novel that employs anthropomorphism of animals is Yann Martels Life
of Pi. In the novel, Pi Patel, the main character, is stranded on a boat with a variety of
animals. Pi then relates his daily experiences with these animals throughout his
journey across the Pacific Ocean, especially with a tiger named Richard Parker.
Based on a through reading and analysis of the novel, the use of anthropomorphism
is integral to Pi surviving his experience on the open water because it allows Pi to
understand how animal behavior can help him survive at sea.
Pi anthropomorphizes a zebra to show how weakness cannot be exhibited on a
stranded lifeboat. Through his anthropomorphizing, Pi illustrates the dangers of
being weak and dependent on the sea, and how important it is to be independent
and strong. When Pi fell into the lifeboat, one of the first animals he saw was a
zebra. Pi noticed that the zebra had a broken leg and was unable to move. Pi
reasoned that if the zebra was unable to get up and move around, it would be
quickly eaten by the predator animals that were also on the lifeboat. Pi said, It lay
near the stern, where it had fallen, listless, but its stomach was still panting and its
eyes were still moving, expressing terror
The Israeli Palestinian Conflict, By Benjamin Netanyahu
The Israeli Palestinian conflict can be seen from different perspectives, one of them
being from the Likud party in the Israeli government. In particular, there are stances
that Likud takes on the conflict. Right now, Benjamin Netanyahu is the Israeli Prime
Minister, and his current approach to dealing with the conflict differs from the
approach taken in 2009. The Likud party is considered hardliner and right winged,
meaning that it is harder to compromise with this political party due to their strict
stances and beliefs. Therefore, their diplomatic approach towards the conflict is less
compromising in comparison to the Zionist Union. Netanyahu s stance on how to
resolve the conflict differs from what it used to be in 2009: The international uproar
started when Netanyahu said a Palestinian state would not happen during his tenure
if he won re election to a fourth term, which widely sounded like a departure from
his previously stated support for a two state solution (politifact.com). Contradictory to
his previous thoughts in 2009, Netanyahu no longer sees a two state solution as a
realistic option any more. Someone cannot simply move Israeli citizens over night
from their settlements for a number of reasons. The most significant reason is that it
would be hard to evacuate lands and give them back to the Palestinians. Also, if
Israeli citizens would evacuate the land surrounding Jerusalem and the West Bank,
there is a fear that the Arab extremists would take control of

Comparing Dostoevsky s Crime And Punishment
Quite possibly one of Dostoevsky s most popular and iconic works, Crime and
Punishment is easily read as a chilling crime thriller a drama concerning a young
man suffering the guilt and fear brought on by a brutal murder. Indeed, this is often
how the work is viewed, accompanied, perhaps, with an emphasis on religion, or
suffering, or love. Yet to read Crime and Punishmentin this manner would be to lose
a large portion of who Raskolnikov is, his motives, and how Dostoevsky wrote the
character. While it is possible to read Dostoevsky s Crime and Punishment as a simple
crime thriller with a religious theme, its is impossible to fully understand the story of
Raskolnikov, that being the murder, his confession, and his redemption, without
understanding... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Even on the first page of Crime and Punishment, Raskolnikov demonstrates his
guilt. Indebted to his landlady, he fears meeting her, slinking from his apartment
out into a world that he views with all the charity of an impoverished misanthrope.
The question is: where did this guilt come from? The answer lies with his poverty.
In an attempt to rebel against his mother, to whom Raskolnikov is [her]
everything, all [her] wishes and all [her] hope (Dostoevsky 28), Raskolnikov
intentionally abandons his studies and refuses to work. Ironically, far from being
independent from his mother, little Rodia endes up accepting a portion of his
mother s pension to support himself. This dynamic between dependence and
independence accentuates his failure both to satisfy his mother and to be free of
his mother s expectations. In the words of Ilham Dilman, Professor Emeritus in the
Department of Philosophy at the University of Wales Swansea, he thus complies
with his mother s wishes and defies her at the same time; he accepts her offer of a
dependent relationship to spite her (Dilman 194). In Raskolnikov s mind, he can
never live up to the Rodia that his mother has conjured up. The end result is a
remarkably negative and stressful maternal relationship that is first and for most a
source of guilt. Raskolnikov dreads meeting his landlady partially because he owes
her money, but also because she reminds of his mother. She provides him with food
and shelter, but, because of his actions, he cannot satisfy her expectations (Breger 6).
Yet, Raskolnikov s landlady is not the only individual on whom raskolnikov projects
his guilt. Alyona Ivanova elicits similar feelings as Raskolnikov turns to her
unscrupulous and cut throat business for money. Alyona, however, lacks the maternal
care that Raskolnikov
Decision Making Process Analysis
Normally people do not break down how they make decisions, they just decide.
But, for people who are making decisions for a larger group, knowing the process
could be helpful. The first step in the process is to identify the problem by fully
understanding and gathering all the information of the problem. Secondly, you
want to think of alternatives or other options for handling the issue. Thirdly, you
want to access or evaluate all the alternatives and consider the possible outcome.
Finally, you go forward with the decision and evaluate the outcome (Kinicki and
Williams, 2016). These steps are helpful and critical when making decisions for
large groups or an organization. Along with the steps to decision are the four
styles of decision making; they are directive, analytical, conceptual, and behavioral
(Kinicki and Williams, 2016). Directive is used by leaders who decides quickly.
They make decisions on the basis of a relatively small amount of information.
Analytical managers make decisions by researching lots data and having alternatives
choices. The conceptual style is notable in managers with the need for recognition
and success. They tend to be creative and inventive and are willing to take a risk.
Behavioral characterizes managers who work well with others. They are supportive

Analysis Of Mother Courage And Her Children
The norm refers to a state in which affairs are standard, typical, usual, expected and
unexceptional among others. In his book, the Steppenwolf, Hermann Hesse explores
some of the issues relating to deviation from the norm like how an individual is
affected. In addition, the play Mother Courage and her Children also presents various
matters relating to the norm, its significance, and how the environment is altered in
case of a deviation. Furthermore, Bertolt Brechtvividly examines how an individual
has a difficult time to adapt to the changes in the norm naturally. The paper will talk
abiut the significance of the norms in these two masterpieces, the effects of what is
considered normal to the characters, and what they lose or gain when they stray from
the norm.
Hermann Hesse uses Harry Haller as an example of a person who has an
intrapersonal conflict due to dissatisfaction with the normal life. He shows that
leading and conforming to normalcy proves hard for some people. We are taken
through the Steppenwolf treatise that records a man s multifaceted soul, which
Haller fails to understand (Hesse 15). He is encircled in a struggle that cannot be
solved and he is not satisfied with being either right or wrong. This fixed, the firm,
false and personally developed concept makes him blind to the other world that is
considered normal. He says How foolish it is to wear oneself out in vain longing for
warmth! Solitude is independence. (Hesse 33) to mean, there is comfort in

Bananas, Chiquita, and Globalization
Bananas, Chiquita and Globalization
While globalization is a relatively new phenomenon in theory, but not necessarily in
history, as of 2009 it has created transnational corporations linked to government,
international economic institutions, and non government organizations. (Steger 67).
With this definition bananas are a textbook example of the globalization of tropical
fruit commodities. The transnational corporations of the United States, most notably
Chiquita, Dole and Del Monte, have been linked to the governments of Latin and
South America, the World Trade Organization, and the organic fruit movement. By
tracing the path from banana plantations to supermarket it becomes clear how the
morals of capitalism have permeated ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It is at this first stage of production at the plantation where the most exploitation of
workers takes place. As an article about workers rights in Ecuador says, people are
not seen as being as important as the final product (Astorga 2). Because a lot of
banana exporting countries have monoculture economies, most of the countries
depend on jobs and income from banana producers. Most of these jobs are
contracts too resulting in only temporary work. Not surprisingly, 10 cents of every
dollar spent on Chiquita bananas stays in the production process (Wiley 71).
Banana workers are notorious for being paid dismal wages; it should be no
surprise that profits benefit the powerfully rich fruit companies not plantation
workers. Ecuador , in particular, is known for paying the lowest wages because
there are few unions. The average daily wage in Ecuador is $2 in contrast to $9 in
Costa Rica (STITCH), allowing Ecuador to sell boxes of bananas for cheaper. With
no unions, Chiquita does not pay health insurance, overtime pay or money for
education. For most banana workers the threat of being fired triumphs the promises
of unions, simply because Chiquita would not be profitable without cheap labor. For
banana workers they must work under strenuous working conditions, often working
twelve hour days, carrying heavy bunches of bananas cut from the banana trunk.

Beekeepers Persuasive Letter

Department of Agriculture P.O. Box 19281, State Fairgrounds Springfield, IL
62794 9281 Dear Mr. Flider, The colony collapse disorder has been threatening the
United States for many years. Reports show excessive numbers of honeybees
dying off. According to the Bee Informed Partnership and USDA s annual survey,
during the winter of 2013 2014, the mortality of managed honeybee colonies was
23.2. The previous winter s report showed a loss of 30.5 percent of the colonies and
thus, the winter 2013 2014 results might show some improvement. However,
beekeepers persist that the still declining honeybee colonies are becoming too low
for colony collapse disorder to be considered a solved issue. Approximately two
thirds of the beekeepers reported losses greater than the acceptable 18.9 percent
mortality rate, thus deeming the losses greater than what is economically sustainable.

issue of colony collapse disorder. This campaign will also urge the public to use
pesticides wisely and at times other than in the middle of the day when honeybees

Phantom Limb Pain
Furthermore phantom limb pain is simply a sensation of pain. A patient experiences
the pain in an affected extremity that no longer exists (McCance Huether). Although
nerve fibers have the capability to regenerate this is a time consuming process that
does not always yield a fully functional nerve (Subedi Grossberg, 2011).
Nociceptors are free nerve endings in the afferent peripheral nervous system (PNS)
that selectively respond to different stimuli. The differences are related to the
stimulus which they respond to and the properties of the nerve fibers associated with
them. There are three types A, B and C groups based on their diameter. There are
numerous types of nerve fibers that have nociceptors. These are the free endings at the
Essay on Developments in Middle Childhood
Children between the ages of 8 12 are defined as being within the developmental
stage of middle childhood. At this age, the rapid development of previous stages
has decreased and the physical changes within this period are slower and more
defined. The refinement of gross and fine motor skills is a critical aspect of this
stage as the delayed or retarded development can have significant impact on the
areas of cognitive, social and emotional development. In order to ensure children are
equipped with the correct knowledge and understanding of health, well being and
healthy eating, the period of middle childhood is one in which these aspects are
incorporated and failure to properly do so can result in long term ramifications and...

A study conducted in Iran based on this found an increase in motor efficiency and
overall motor development when selected exercises were performed by the group.
J.P. Piek, L. Dawson, L.M. Smith and N. Gasson (2008) found that children with
poor motor proficiency are less likely to have active lifestyles and tend to prefer
more sedentary activities (as cited in Asian Journal of Sport Medicine, 2011). As
gross motor skills develop, fine motor skills such as writing, drawing, typing,
cutting and small manipulations of objects and toys begin to be more refined.
Drawings and writings of children in this stage is more advanced and detailed as it
is supported by the physiological maturation and cognitive advances that are
characteristic of middle childhood development (McDevitt Ormrod, 2010). The
cognitive advances of this stage forms part of Piaget s Theory of Cognitive
Development. This stage theory is compiled of 4 specific stages that relate to the
cognitive development of children. Middle Childhood build up to the third stage that
is known as the Concrete Operations Stage. This stage is marked by the greater
understanding of grouping and an increased ability to focus on more than one aspect
of a stimulus (Marsh, 2010). Physical activity is crucial to children s healthy growth
and development. Encouraging and educating children on healthy eating habits and

Essay on Rent Control
There is a reason for everything, and if there is no reason to do something, most
people will not do it. For example, if there is no incentive to motivate landlords to
upkeep their property and make it the best it can be, they will left their properties at
the lowest manageable state they can get away. Rent ceiling laws are an example of
how lack of motivation and incentives can discourage people from making sure their
best work and resources go into their product or whatever they are doing. These laws
impose limitations on the amount landlords can charge their tenants for staying in
their properties. This causes the landlords to lose the amount of money they should
have made on their property, and the landlords will not be motivated to... Show more

The obstacles landlords have to overcome causes them to lose their motivation to
invest in rental properties and they instead flock towards other housing options to
include condominiums, office towers, and hotels.
In short, lack of motivation in exchange for more red tape causes investors and
landlords to move towards more profitable options. This movement of money and
resources tends to negatively impact people trying to find a place to live, most
notably the poor. The National Multi Housing Council (NMHC) states that
prospective customers must pay finder fees to find a rental property due to a
presumably growing scarcity of available housing. As if this were not bad enough, in
some communities rental properties are handed down to friends and family, so they
never quite leave the market. In order to obtain housing, new consumers are forced to
pay key money and other fees. These costs tend to impact young, single, and poor
families the most.
As if all of the more or less hidden fees were not bad enough, young, single, and
poor families able to find a rental property are often discriminated against. Landlords
tend to use factors such as income and credit history in determining who gets their
rental property Richer families end up doing better with rent control laws because of
this. Poorer people who make up a larger part of the population end up out of a
house to live in.
Some economists would argue the above mentioned examples of why rent control is
harmful to
Effectiveness Of The Treatment Before And After The...
To analyze the effectiveness of the treatment before and after the surgical
revascularization intervention procedures in PAD patients who may have
microvascular dysfunction, we studied the change in oxygen concentration at the
walls of capillaries.
Oxygen transfer in a vascular network that is essential for the tissue metabolism
takes place at the level of microvasculature and capillaries through convection and
diffusion. Oxygen delivery or convective flow of oxygen to the capillaries and
oxygen extraction or diffusive transport of oxygen from hemoglobin (Hb) to tissue
cells are the two limiting factors associated with oxygen transfer in a vascular
network (Pittman, 2000).
In order to quantify the transfer rate of oxygen from capillaries to the surrounding
tissues, micro circulation in the vascular network was modeled in a virtual simulation
software using the chemical reaction module. Two mechanisms associated with the
oxygen transfer; oxygen from the blood is transferred to the inner wall through
convection and from inner capillary wall to the surrounding tissue via diffusion
phenomena, are shown in Figure 1.
Microcirculation includes both delivery and extraction that is governed by the
equation from Fick s Principle (conservation of mass).

How Does Jane Austen Present Relationships In Persuasion
Persuasion is the last novel written by Jane Austen, published in 1817. Like every
other piece of work she has created, Persuasion is a romance. While there are many
characters in this novel, the main love affair is between Anne Elliot and Captain
Wentworth. These two were once in love, but persuasion by a person dear to Anne,
lead her to end her courtship with Captain Wentworth. Once that fling came to a halt,
he tried to move on and courted himself with Louise Musgrove. Austen s novels
would be nothing without the courtships that she creates between her characters.
Courtships are what essentially make an Austen novelso spectacular. Anne Elliot is

While Anne has come to terms with what happened, she does not regret so much
listening to Lady Russell. Anne explains to Captain Wentworth, I have been
thinking over the past, and trying to impartially to judge of the right and wrong, I
mean with regard to myself; and I must believe that I was right, much as I suffered
from it, that I was perfectly right in being guided by the friend whom you will love
better than you do now. To me, she was in the place of a parent. Do not mistake
me, however. I am not saying that she did not err in her advice. It was perhaps one
of those cases in which advice is good or bad only as the event decides; and for
myself, I certainly never should, in any circumstance of tolerable similarity, give
such advice (253). She brings up this idea that Lady Russell was playing the role of a
parent when she was giving Anne the advice to not go forward with her engagement
with Captain Wentworth. A parent of a high status would want nothing less than that
for their child. Especially for a daughter. Although Anne was able to look beyond the
superficial aspects to Captain Wentworth, the two people whose word means the

Separation Of Judicial Power And The Australian

The separation of power doctrine is properly speaking a doctrine not so much about
the separation of function as about the separation of functionaries. In case of
commonwealth it represents an intermediate position between the governmental
systems the United States of America and the United Kingdom each of which in
some measure serve as a model for the Australian constitution. The effect of relative
absence of power separation of power between legislative and executivefunctions of

Alan Bennett The History Boys Essay
In Alan Bennett s play, The History Boys, a unique approach to education is
continuously made by Hector, an aged english teacher, and Irwin, a young and
ambitious Oxford graduate. Rather than solely focusing on his students future college
endeavors, Hector chooses to highlight what he deems as important in the real world
, as more exists to him than an acceptance letter to Cambridge or Oxford. On the other
hand, Irwin places college at the utmost importance, continuously reinforcing this
idea in multiple fashions. Throughout the course of the play, characters such as Irwin
and the Headmaster provide a stark contrast to Hector s views, well simultaneously
highlighting the underlying reasonability in each others ways. It s evident from early
on in the play that Hector is quite different than your typical English grammar school

Lust Susan Minot
The Lust for Understanding Throughout time, there has been a battle present in
which females try to rise above the power of men and the hold they have on women.
Whether the battle be for the equal treatment of both sexes or simply establishing a
level of respect and understanding from the opposite sex, the meaning stands the
same in which there is an ever present power struggle that is continuously ongoing
between the sexes. No matter the intentional meaning of the work, women
suppression by men are seen when one looks beyond the simple statements given and
examines the femalecharacters in great detail to better understand the struggle she
endures daily due to men. One author in particular that allows an interesting
viewpoint into the mind of a blossoming womanis Susan Minot. Minot demonstrates
in her story Lust how the female narrator is influenced and altered by her malesexual
partners. Through each sexual encounter, the reader is able to see the changes
these encounters have on the young woman emotionally and other affects a man
has on her as she grows up in a male dominated world. This can all be determined by
observing closely the figurative language used in the story, the fluctuations in
emotions seen in the female character, and the thoughts the woman has about men
throughout the story. To begin with, Susan Minot allows the reader to get a better
look into the effect men have on an impressionable girl in her story Lust by the use
of figurative language. To truly capture one s emotional state, it is sometimes best
to observe how one describes themselves in figurative terms. This allows for the
reader to gain a better understanding of what the narrator is going through by seeing
the world through their eyes through similes. One such instance Minot does this is
at the end of the story when the narrator describes herself as a shrimp curled up in
the bed of a strange man (Minot 225). With this vivid comparison, it can be
understood that the narrator feels as if she is as small as a shrimp does, which, in
psychological terms, can be boiled down into the girl wishing to shrink away from the
harsh realities of the world and the men from her past that haunt her. In this instance,

Essay On Bad Moms
China s ties to Hollywood studies just got a little stronger. LA based studio STX
Entertainment announced this week it has received investments from two Chinese
companies: internet giant Tencent and Hong Kong based telecommunications
company PCCW. STX, which produced the summer comedy Bad Moms , expects to
use the capital to create more content and distribute it globally, particularly in Asia. In
return, audiences in Hong Kong and Chinawith an appetite for Western produced
films will also have more access to the Hollywood studio s entertainment. The new
alliance represents an important milestone in expanding PCCW s strategic
investments into compelling content creation, not simply for audiences in Hong
Kong but also for international audiences, said PCCW Managing Director Janice Lee
in a news release.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Just 36 foreign films are allowed in the country each year and the summer months are
typically a blackout period to give a boost to domestically produced films, though
that rule has eased this year. Part of the strategy to be let in includes getting
investments from Chinese firms.
Cinema operator Dalian Wanda Group made headlines in February when it
announced it is in talks to get a 49 percent stake in Paramount Pictures. The
conglomerate bought AMC Entertainment Holdings in 2012 for $2.6 billion and
earlier this year bought Legendary Entertainment the company that produced The
Dark Knight for about $3.5 billion.
This also isn t the first Chinese investment STX has garnered. The studio launched
two years ago with capital from Chinese private equity firm Hony Capital, which
also provided additional funding in conjunction with Tencent and PCCW. STX
focuses on mid range films ($20 to $60 billion) and inked a three year deal last year
with Chinese firm Huayi Brothers to produce 12 to 15 movies each
Horatio Spafford s Song It Is Well With My Soul
It Is Well with My Soul was written in 1873 by Horatio Spafford who at the time of
the writing was overwhelmed by a morass of sorrow and great loss yet could still
find comfort in knowing it was well with his soul. Three years later, Philip P. Bliss
wrote the melody for this song calling it Ville du Havre after the name of the ship
that had wrecked, taking the life of Horatio s four precious daughters. After
crossing the very same spot where the wreck had taken place, Horatio finding it
hard to sleep said to himself It is well; the will of God be done. thus inspiring the
words of the song. This song is one that has brought comfort to many who with
Horatio Spafford can still claim that Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say,
... It is well with my soul . In his song, It Is Well with My Soul Horatio Spafford
uses simile, parallelism, and apostrophe to express why it was well with his soul.
In the song It Is Well with My Soul the first stanza begins with a simile picturing
peace like a river and contrasts it with sorrows like sea billows roll. This
comparison is followed by a statement that Whatever my lot [whether in peace or
sorrow] Thou [God] hast taught me to say it is well with my soul. It is in this stanza
that the writer gives a glimpse of what he went through in life, sorrow and peace...

The last part of every stanza repeats the words my soul that are also found in every
line of the chorus. This use repetition drives home the message to the reader that
the writer s peace was not just outwardly but one that was deep and engrained in
him. The writer repeats the phrase It is well in every line of the chorus drawing the
focus of the reader back to the reason for the song. This constant reassuring of the
fact that no matter what transpires in life because of God we can say It is well is
perhaps what makes this a favorite among

At this point, the Shah was the primary figurehead and there was little to no attention given to those that opposed him and his regime within his own country. Reporters focused more on how the Shah was positively affected his people (e.g. improved standard of living, increased wages, westernization, infrastructure development, etc.) This gave a very positive light to Iran, even though the Shah was still running an authoritarian police state. A Brief Note On The Remote Systems Administration Introduction: in order to have local business enterprise that on the smaller size there needs to be a consultant that can provide the company to associate with the employees that are new. One decent approach to this would be simply setting up a system in order to get a lot more use out of your PCs and peripherals. This is especially true for the small and home business clients. To share a solitary broadband, we have the Systems permit that goes through with the Internet association among different PCs and PC clients. These clients find themselves being able to share documents amongst personal computers easily and effortlessly. Morality requires us to do the right things in life: it is a command known as the imperative. This, indeed, forces me to follow what Kant said: doing the good deeds ignoring the thought of what will be the result. This ethicsof Kant rather wants me to save the lives in the ship of my other nine cruise worker. This dilemma forced me to think about my morals in life of being good. Before I say what is wrong with the decision at that instance of not saving the lives, the following dilemma on that particular website of whether or not I will save the lives of my co workers obligated me at first with the thoughts: why should I endanger my life for the sake of others? If I die, what will happen to my family? There was particularly no wise reason of putting my own life at risk for the sake of other people who were not even my family, rather just coworkers. I was lucky enough that my friends were there for me to save my life. Maybe, it was a signal from the God that I should save my own life first. Or it was a signal from Him that it was their time to leave this world, but I still have a long way to go. On the other hand, I was thinking about what will happen of the fact when my family gets to know about my selfish act. The act of not saving lives of others and choosing to save mine in the first case would rather be known as a selfish act. However,

In addition to being able to read scripture themselves, peasants also could read church liturgy and practices, which created questions and enabled peasants to see how insufficient their parish priest was. Peasants began sending petitions and grievances to local and national church offices; they wanted increased authority over their own parishes, something the Orthodox Church did not want to give. The Russian Orthodox Church viewed this increased interest among the peasantry very negatively. The Church often interpreted peasant activism as a negative consequence of secular enlightenment that ultimately would harm the Orthodox faith through the dilution of its traditional hierarchical principles. Thus, the church became increasingly reactionary and isolated itself further from the peasantry interacting even less and trying to distance the peasantry from doctrine and liturgy. The Church saw peasant interest as directly undermining their power instead of a development of a more devoted populous. This led to the paradox of a weakening political and culture power of the Church while simultaneously the peasantry became increasingly devoted to localized religious practice. The gap widened even further between the Church and the peasantry due to the Church s fear and mistrust of the peasantry. As the Church distanced themselves from the peasantry in relational and spiritual realms, it also tried to reassert its control over the peasantry, primarily through

According to authors of Effective Instruction for Stem Disciplines: From Learning Theory to College Teaching, there are numerous traditional learningmethods that are important for our background. The first, which they call study based, is based on student focus on materials, without a strong active component. For most students, especially those of younger ages, this likely occurs most at home, where students independently study for traditional examinations. The second traditional learning method, retrieval, they describe as the conversion of study based learning into an active learning method. Retrieval encourages students to practice accessing information to make it so regular that using it in later informational synthesis is already simple. The third traditional learning method, which they call schema building, is learning based on situational practice, ensuring that students can appropriate handle the real life aspects and applications of a concept (Mastascusa et al., 2011). Unfortunately, these traditional methods of learning are not always indicative of modern, dynamic education. More modern learning techniques provide students with a far more interactive experience. In one such method, students combine the first and third aforementioned traditional study methods. Students

Indeed, this is often how the work is viewed, accompanied, perhaps, with an emphasis on religion, or suffering, or love. Yet to read Crime and Punishmentin this manner would be to lose a large portion of who Raskolnikov is, his motives, and how Dostoevsky wrote the character. While it is possible to read Dostoevsky s Crime and Punishment as a simple crime thriller with a religious theme, its is impossible to fully understand the story of Raskolnikov, that being the murder, his confession, and his redemption, without understanding... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Even on the first page of Crime and Punishment, Raskolnikov demonstrates his guilt. Indebted to his landlady, he fears meeting her, slinking from his apartment out into a world that he views with all the charity of an impoverished misanthrope. The question is: where did this guilt come from? The answer lies with his poverty. In an attempt to rebel against his mother, to whom Raskolnikov is [her] everything, all [her] wishes and all [her] hope (Dostoevsky 28), Raskolnikov intentionally abandons his studies and refuses to work. Ironically, far from being independent from his mother, little Rodia endes up accepting a portion of his mother s pension to support himself. This dynamic between dependence and independence accentuates his failure both to satisfy his mother and to be free of his mother s expectations. In the words of Ilham Dilman, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Wales Swansea, he thus complies with his mother s wishes and defies her at the same time; he accepts her offer of a dependent relationship to spite her (Dilman 194). In Raskolnikov s mind, he can never live up to the Rodia that his mother has conjured up. The end result is a remarkably negative and stressful maternal relationship that is first and for most a source of guilt. Raskolnikov dreads meeting his landlady partially because he owes her money, but also because she reminds of his mother. She provides him with food and shelter, but, because of his actions, he cannot satisfy her expectations (Breger 6). Yet, Raskolnikov s landlady is not the only individual on whom raskolnikov projects his guilt. Alyona Ivanova elicits similar feelings as Raskolnikov turns to her unscrupulous and cut throat business for money. Alyona, however, lacks the maternal care that Raskolnikov

But, for people who are making decisions for a larger group, knowing the process could be helpful. The first step in the process is to identify the problem by fully understanding and gathering all the information of the problem. Secondly, you want to think of alternatives or other options for handling the issue. Thirdly, you want to access or evaluate all the alternatives and consider the possible outcome. Finally, you go forward with the decision and evaluate the outcome (Kinicki and Williams, 2016). These steps are helpful and critical when making decisions for large groups or an organization. Along with the steps to decision are the four styles of decision making; they are directive, analytical, conceptual, and behavioral (Kinicki and Williams, 2016). Directive is used by leaders who decides quickly. They make decisions on the basis of a relatively small amount of information. Analytical managers make decisions by researching lots data and having alternatives choices. The conceptual style is notable in managers with the need for recognition and success. In his book, the Steppenwolf, Hermann Hesse explores some of the issues relating to deviation from the norm like how an individual is affected. In addition, the play Mother Courage and her Children also presents various matters relating to the norm, its significance, and how the environment is altered in case of a deviation. Furthermore, Bertolt Brechtvividly examines how an individual has a difficult time to adapt to the changes in the norm naturally. The paper will talk abiut the significance of the norms in these two masterpieces, the effects of what is considered normal to the characters, and what they lose or gain when they stray from the norm. Hermann Hesse uses Harry Haller as an example of a person who has an intrapersonal conflict due to dissatisfaction with the normal life. He shows that leading and conforming to normalcy proves hard for some people. We are taken through the Steppenwolf treatise that records a man s multifaceted soul, which Haller fails to understand (Hesse 15). He is encircled in a struggle that cannot be solved and he is not satisfied with being either right or wrong. This fixed, the firm, false and personally developed concept makes him blind to the other world that is considered normal. He says How foolish it is to wear oneself out in vain longing for warmth! Solitude is independence. (Hesse 33) to mean, there is comfort in

Bananas, Chiquita, and Globalization Bananas, Chiquita and Globalization While globalization is a relatively new phenomenon in theory, but not necessarily in history, as of 2009 it has created transnational corporations linked to government, international economic institutions, and non government organizations. (Steger 67). With this definition bananas are a textbook example of the globalization of tropical fruit commodities. The transnational corporations of the United States, most notably Chiquita, Dole and Del Monte, have been linked to the governments of Latin and South America, the World Trade Organization, and the organic fruit movement. By tracing the path from banana plantations to supermarket it becomes clear how the morals of capitalism have permeated ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It is at this first stage of production at the plantation where the most exploitation of workers takes place. As an article about workers rights in Ecuador says, people are not seen as being as important as the final product (Astorga 2). Because a lot of banana exporting countries have monoculture economies, most of the countries depend on jobs and income from banana producers. Most of these jobs are contracts too resulting in only temporary work. Not surprisingly, 10 cents of every dollar spent on Chiquita bananas stays in the production process (Wiley 71). Banana workers are notorious for being paid dismal wages; it should be no surprise that profits benefit the powerfully rich fruit companies not plantation workers. Ecuador , in particular, is known for paying the lowest wages because there are few unions. The average daily wage in Ecuador is $2 in contrast to $9 in Costa Rica (STITCH), allowing Ecuador to sell boxes of bananas for cheaper. With no unions, Chiquita does not pay health insurance, overtime pay or money for education. For most banana workers the threat of being fired triumphs the promises of unions, simply because Chiquita would not be profitable without cheap labor. For banana workers they must work under strenuous working conditions, often working twelve hour days, carrying heavy bunches of bananas cut from the banana trunk. Aside from social

Reports show excessive numbers of honeybees dying off. According to the Bee Informed Partnership and USDA s annual survey, during the winter of 2013 2014, the mortality of managed honeybee colonies was 23.2. The previous winter s report showed a loss of 30.5 percent of the colonies and thus, the winter 2013 2014 results might show some improvement. However, beekeepers persist that the still declining honeybee colonies are becoming too low for colony collapse disorder to be considered a solved issue. For example, if there is no incentive to motivate landlords to upkeep their property and make it the best it can be, they will left their properties at the lowest manageable state they can get away. Rent ceiling laws are an example of how lack of motivation and incentives can discourage people from making sure their best work and resources go into their product or whatever they are doing. These laws impose limitations on the amount landlords can charge their tenants for staying in their properties. The obstacles landlords have to overcome causes them to lose their motivation to invest in rental properties and they instead flock towards other housing options to include condominiums, office towers, and hotels. In short, lack of motivation in exchange for more red tape causes investors and landlords to move towards more profitable options. This movement of money and resources tends to negatively impact people trying to find a place to live, most notably the poor. The National Multi Housing Council (NMHC) states that prospective customers must pay finder fees to find a rental property due to a presumably growing scarcity of available housing. As if this were not bad enough, in some communities rental properties are handed down to friends and family, so they never quite leave the market. In order to obtain housing, new consumers are forced to pay key money and other fees. These costs tend to impact young, single, and poor families the most. As if all of the more or less hidden fees were not bad enough, young, single, and poor families able to find a rental property are often discriminated against. Landlords tend to use factors such as income and credit history in determining who gets their rental property Richer families end up doing better with rent control laws because of this. Poorer people who make up a larger part of the population end up out of a house to live in. Some economists would argue the above mentioned examples of why rent control is harmful to
  • 35. Effectiveness Of The Treatment Before And After The... To analyze the effectiveness of the treatment before and after the surgical revascularization intervention procedures in PAD patients who may have microvascular dysfunction, we studied the change in oxygen concentration at the walls of capillaries. Oxygen transfer in a vascular network that is essential for the tissue metabolism takes place at the level of microvasculature and capillaries through convection and diffusion. Oxygen delivery or convective flow of oxygen to the capillaries and oxygen extraction or diffusive transport of oxygen from hemoglobin (Hb) to tissue cells are the two limiting factors associated with oxygen transfer in a vascular network (Pittman, 2000). In order to quantify the transfer rate of oxygen from capillaries to the surrounding tissues, micro circulation in the vascular network was modeled in a virtual simulation software using the chemical reaction module. Two mechanisms associated with the oxygen transfer; oxygen from the blood is transferred to the inner wall through convection and from inner capillary wall to the surrounding tissue via diffusion phenomena, are shown in Figure 1. Microcirculation includes both delivery and extraction that is governed by the equation from Fick s Principle (conservation of mass). гЂ–Q_(O_2 )гЂ—^Diff= гЂ–Q_(O_2 )гЂ—^Conv (upstream) гЂ–Q_(O_2 )гЂ—^Conv (downstream)Equation 1 The inflow would be the blood pumped from the heart through arterioles and incoming flux of blood flow releases the blood cells with Hb

These two were once in love, but persuasion by a person dear to Anne, lead her to end her courtship with Captain Wentworth. Once that fling came to a halt, he tried to move on and courted himself with Louise Musgrove. Austen s novels would be nothing without the courtships that she creates between her characters. • 40. Lust Susan Minot The Lust for Understanding Throughout time, there has been a battle present in which females try to rise above the power of men and the hold they have on women. Whether the battle be for the equal treatment of both sexes or simply establishing a level of respect and understanding from the opposite sex, the meaning stands the same in which there is an ever present power struggle that is continuously ongoing between the sexes. No matter the intentional meaning of the work, women suppression by men are seen when one looks beyond the simple statements given and examines the femalecharacters in great detail to better understand the struggle she endures daily due to men. One author in particular that allows an interesting viewpoint into the mind of a blossoming womanis Susan Minot. Minot demonstrates in her story Lust how the female narrator is influenced and altered by her malesexual partners. Through each sexual encounter, the reader is able to see the changes these encounters have on the young woman emotionally and other affects a man has on her as she grows up in a male dominated world. This can all be determined by observing closely the figurative language used in the story, the fluctuations in emotions seen in the female character, and the thoughts the woman has about men throughout the story. To begin with, Susan Minot allows the reader to get a better look into the effect men have on an impressionable girl in her story Lust by the use of figurative language. To truly capture one s emotional state, it is sometimes best to observe how one describes themselves in figurative terms. This allows for the reader to gain a better understanding of what the narrator is going through by seeing the world through their eyes through similes. One such instance Minot does this is at the end of the story when the narrator describes herself as a shrimp curled up in the bed of a strange man (Minot 225). With this vivid comparison, it can be understood that the narrator feels as if she is as small as a shrimp does, which, in psychological terms, can be boiled down into the girl wishing to shrink away from the harsh realities of the world and the men from her past that haunt her. In this instance, it can be determined

Three years later, Philip P. Bliss wrote the melody for this song calling it Ville du Havre after the name of the ship that had wrecked, taking the life of Horatio s four precious daughters. Financing Green Energy Investment in Green Energy Production Case Study Indonesia Introduction The term Green energy refers to energy sources which have less injurious impacts on the environment in comparison with the traditional sources of fuel such petroleum, coal, natural gas etc. The use of green energy is intended to produce power without causing much harm to the natural habitat and also in a rather pollution free manner. Indonesia has been taking measures and been involved in policy reforms meant for facilitating the use of green energy. Various projects have been initiated in this regard. In the case of Green energy, the typical forces of demand and supply are activated and this industry is becoming excessively lucrative from investment point of view. Investment in Green Energy in Indonesia In order to select a potential project which is worthy of investment, the overall dynamics of green energy in Indonesia have to be considered. As per the current statistics available. Indonesia has managed to cross the benchmark of USD 1 Billion in Green energy investment and has observed 520 percent growth in investment in 2011. As policy measures, Indonesia has various policies in place such as Energy Law(LawNo.30/2007), Geothermal Law(LawNo.27/2003), Geothermal Business (GovernmentRegulationNo.59/2007), Green Energy Policy (MinisterialDecree:No.0002/2004) which would encourage the use of green energy in Public as well as private sector.
