1. Essay Analysis
Crafting an essay on the topic of "Essay Analysis" presents a unique set of challenges that delve
into the intricacies of dissecting one's own writing. It requires a delicate balance between self-
reflection and critical analysis. The difficulty lies in the need to step back from the personal
connection to the work and approach it with a discerning eye. This process demands a level of
objectivity that can be challenging when examining one's own thoughts and expressions.
Furthermore, the essay must navigate through the layers of the writing process, from initial
brainstorming to final revisions. Analyzing the structural elements, coherence of ideas, and the
effectiveness of chosen language adds another layer of complexity. It's akin to dissecting the
very fabric of one's creation, which can be both enlightening and daunting.
The task also involves assessing the impact of the essay on the intended audience. Understanding
how the piece resonates with readers and whether it achieves its communicative goals becomes a
crucial aspect of the analysis. This, in turn, requires a certain level of detachment to evaluate the
work objectively.
Moreover, evaluating the essay's strengths and weaknesses demands a nuanced perspective.
Identifying areas of improvement while acknowledging successes involves a keen awareness of
both the micro and macro aspects of the composition. This dual focus can be mentally taxing, as
it necessitates a critical mindset while maintaining a constructive approach.
In conclusion, writing an essay on the analysis of one's own writing is a challenging endeavor
that requires a delicate balance between self-reflection, critical analysis, and objectivity. It's a
process that involves dissecting one's creation and assessing its impact on the audience. Despite
the difficulties, it offers an opportunity for profound self-discovery and improvement in the craft
of writing.

3. Essay about psychology
As described, there are 10 different perspectives of early psychology. These
perspectives are: Structuralism, functionalism, Gestalt psychology, Behavioral,
psychodynamic, humanistic, physiological, evolutionary, cognitive, and cultural and
diversity. I will only be looking at three of these perspectives still in common use
today here is a summary of each.
The behavioral perspective quot;focuses on the observable behaviors; thus it does not
speculate about mental processes such as thinking. quot; (Davis and Palladino,
2005).Unlike the other approaches, the behavioral perspective accentuates how it is
important to learn and understand and doesn t focus on coconscious. B. F. Skinner, a

Educator s and parents need to be very careful, in my opinion, when using only this
approach with their children. Humanists will not label any behavior as bad or
wrong but instead they will focus on the individuals right to choose what they will
do or what decision they make on their own. In schools today I believe we place to
much emphasis on making the child feel they have done well no matter the level
of work they have produced or the actions they have chosen to take. The humanistic
approach can work well when trying to improve a child s self esteem or cure
shyness but, when a child is not told they are doing something wrong how will they
then learn what is considered right and wrong in society? We ve got youngsters here
now who . . . are under the authority of the school [and] are being persuaded that
there is a better way, and that way is to make their own decisions. They re being
induced to make decisions about activities that the citizenry of the state have decided
are wrong (http://www.probe.org/docs/psy educ.html) When used in conjunction with
behaviorism and cognitive psychology a child will gain a much better understanding
of their place in the world as well as what is expected of them in regards to behavior.
Many psychologists have accepted the cognitive perspective where the focus is on
how thought occurs, memory processes, and

In Elia Kazan s On the Waterfront, we see that to some extent that people do prefer
security to justice. This film focuses on the balance between our moral conscience,
and our need for survival. It explores how much we are influenced by our own need
for survival compared to our sense of justice. Kazan, utilizes characters like Terry, to
explore the limits of human tolerance and the conscience. He depicts a world
shrouded in a blanket of fog and mist, which masks the criminality, corruption and
immorality. Kazan uses this money driven world, to accentuate the economic and
moral plight of the longshoremen. Through the influences of people like Edie Doyle

5. From the Broadbeach study, the investigation of offshore...
From the Broadbeach study, the investigation of offshore wave conditions erosion
rates and sandbar morphodynamics, show that Broadbeach experienced some
unusual experience during the study period. Given that the wave conditions on the
Gold Coast were considerably less energetic, results suggest that Broadbeach s
beach is significantly vulnerable and is more easily eroded than other beaches
reported. Time series of offshore wave conditions combined with the evolution of
the beach volume also suggests that the studied beach is more exposed to high
erosion rates in the presences of NE to E swell. This trend is in agreement with
visual observation all along the Gold Coast. However, the second and third storm
wave events are estimated to be of... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
During the first and second extreme events mentioned in the study, the 150m wide
Coolangatta Beach experienced the most intense erosion because waves did not
reach the vegetated dune. The beach then recovered markedly, which can be
explained by the presence of the sand bypassing system and sheltering from he SE
high waves (Castelle et al., 2007).
The evolution of measured beach volumes over the study period strongly suggests
that the Gold Coast beaches are not able to withstand a powerful succession of
extreme vents. The first high wave event strongly weakened the beaches, which did
not recover before the second high wave event of a magnitude not unusual along the
Gold Coast. However, in these two cases, the storms resulted in surprisingly high
erosion rates. Data from a more in depth investigation of Broadbeach, using video
imagery, suggest that outer bar decay, resulting in a lack of protection of the sub
aerial beach, may explain this high erosion.
The present results show that high energy easterly swells have a considerable
destructive power on both northern and southern Gold Coast beaches. Even though
no tropical cyclone directly crossed the Gold Coast, which would have resulted in
much higher energy waves and a more severe storm surge, the erosion measured is
the most substantial of the past 30 years. The Gold Coast beaches investigated lost
between 34 and 52m3/m, which, in terms of beach nourishment, is an extremely large
amount of sand. This suggests hat
6. Essay On Adaptive Filters
Adaptive filters have been successfully applied to diverse fields including
communications, speech recognition, control systems, radar, seismology and
biomedical engineering. Among various types of adaptive algorithms, the least mean
square (LMS) algorithm is well known and widely adopted due to its simplicity and
robustness to initial condition and noise. The performance of the LMS algorithm, in
terms of convergence rate, maladjustment, mean square error (MSE), and
computational cost, is governed by the step size. The frequency domain (FD)
adaptive filter algorithm is known to be able to reduce the numerical complexity by
using the overlap and save implementation method. It incorporates block updating
strategies where the fast Fourier... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A variable step size algorithm is proposed in,by focusing on achieving low residual
error specifically for the acoustic echo cancellation applications and also lacks of
convergence analysis. Thus, we are motivated to develop an FD step size control
for LMS algorithm. Our objective is to achieve both fast convergence and low
steady state error, and to provide theoretical analysis on the convergence. A new bin
wise block varying step size for the FD LMS algorithm. The optimal solution of step
size at each iteration is derived by cancelling the a posteriori error in each frequency
bin, and its estimate is connected to the magnitude squared coherence (MSC)
function. This Performs better than the existing FD algorithm in terms of both
convergence rate and mean square deviation (MSD). Furthermore, compared to the

What is the worst outcome of a case that a social worker is working on? Many
outcomes could be horrifying. Injury, rape, but the worst of them all would be
death of a child. All the signs were laid out of an unhealthy relationship between
mother and son. But it was ignored, and the system that we as tax payers pay to
have, to protect the unfortunate, the ones that need a lending hand, failed a 6 year
old child. In the Article I chose to analyze these exact events transpired. The article
that can be found in many credible news outlets, found in the NEW YORK DAILY

No effort was made to help the Zymere, he didn t attend school for a whole year and
not a question was asked. The family was probably stereotyped as a lost cause. The
social worker didn t want to put in an effort, because truly how can a situation so

the agencies lacked practical decision making. They also agency did not listen to

about? There are many small details that can easily be overlooked, but in actuality
hold great significance. During the entire movie, these insignificant details are what
tied the story together.
The first detail of non importance is Pudge, Lilo s fish, who was known for his
fondness of peanut butter sandwiches. Lilo would feed Pudge a weekly peanut
butter sandwich because she claimed he could control the weather. Lilo was often
late to her dance class because she was so desperate to make sure Pudge had his
sandwich. At first it comes off that Lilo s character is either strange or has a vivid
imagination. However, as the movie progresses, the true reasons to giving Pudge his
sandwich is revealed to Stitch. Lilo explains to Stitch that her parents passed away
because of a storm. After learning the new information about Lilo and her family it
makes it easier to put the pieces together. Lilo feeds Pudge a peanut butter sandwich

family is. It taught them to never turn their back on family and to always show

Who would come out victorious in a one on one battle between two of the fiercest
warriors in history, a knight or a samurai? Feudalism began in Japan and Europe
when landowners gave land to warriors in order for protection. The knight or
samurai would then let peasants live on their land. The peasant would pay for it by
giving them a portion of their crops. In a one on one battle, a samuraiwould win
because of their way of living, training, and armor/weapons.

document A1 written by Christine de Pizan, it states, Therefore it is not doing
wrong if he does for himself the same right he is obliged to observe for one other

knight would be more focused on surviving than trying to kill the samurai, therefore
he would be more cautious and have more defense than offense. The knight would be
more careful while in battle to try to make sure he would get out alive. An additional

life refugees as they suffer through danger, starvation, discrimination and lack of the
understanding and speaking of the new languages. Refugees face numerous
dangerous burdens while they are fleeing their homes. There are rockets that are
being launched everywhere, along with bombs exploding throughout the country.
According to the novelInside Out Back Again, it says In the distance, bombs
explode like thunder, slashes lighten the sky, gunfire falls like rain. (Lai, 48). The
previous citation displays that no matter where you are the war will always be too

were going off everywhere. The rockets and missiles are dangerous because people
could easily be injured or killed if they land where the refugees are.
Aside from the danger that the refugees face as they flee home they face potential
hunger and starvation. According to the novel Mother smoothes back my hair,

Hamlet
Hamlet, a play written by William Shakespeare is very close to the dramatic
conventions of the revenge in Elizabeth era. All the revenge conventions are used in
Hamlet which made it a typical revenge play. Hamlet is one of those Elizabethan
heroes considered themselves seriously mistreated by an influential figure with
having a desire to avenge the crime against their family. Shakespeare learned many
strategical devices from Elizabethan playwrights and used all those devices in his
tragedies. The structure of act five where a ghost appears and the exchange of one
line were all used by Elizabethan playwrights in their tragedies. A crime is
committed in all tragedies of revenge where law was not influential enough to
punish the criminals. It is also shown in the case of Hamlet where the murderer of
his father was not punished because the murderer, King Claudius was more powerful.
The heroes of Elizabethan tragedies always remained in doubt in order to take
revenge just like Hamlet who kept on thinking about whether to take revenge or not.
The elements of Elizabethan tragedies such as appearance of ghost, crime committed
against the family member and doubts about taking revenge are closely connected
with Hamlet. There are different reasons which cause the delay in Hamlet s revenge.
The prominent theories which cause the delay are: Hamlet s melancholy, his doubts,

20. Livestock Is Beneficial For The Environment
Livestock is Beneficial for the Environment Raising livestock has many beneficial
effects on the environment. They can create healthier land, which leads to healthier
crops. They can also be trained to graze to where they benefit the land. Grass fed
cattle produce healthier beef than grain fed cattle, giving people a healthier food
choice. Some would argue that since livestock produce harmful emissions, they are
hurting the environment. Although they can produce emissions, livestock are more
beneficial to the land than harmful to it. Livestock creates healthy land and crops,
can be trained to graze properly, and produced healthy, grass fed beef. Livestock is
good for the environment because they help land and crops become healthier. For
example, Simon Fairlie claims, Organic crops, grown without animal manure,
require 33 per cent more land (to supply green manure) than crops grown with
manure. Manure fertilizes the land, creating richer soil, requiring less land to grow
crops. Fairlie explains that approximately twenty five percent of the world s land is
unsuitable for growing crops. Livestock can graze on the land, making use of it. The

Norristown was on a role scoring 10 unanswered points to put themselves back in

the ball, for an open shot, coach drew up the play and we tried to carry it out. Our
plan didn t fall through and Norristown got the defensive rebound, going down the
court to score 2 points on a toughly contested mid range shot. It was our ball with

we did just that. I scored the record breaking basket with 7 seconds left. Norristown

Functional behavioral assessment
In the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), it is crucial to collect as much
data as needed before creating an appropriate intervention for problem behaviors. In
order to do this, a functional behavioral assessment (FBA) can be done. According to
Cooper, Heron, and Heward (2007), an FBA is a systematic method of assessment for
gathering information pertaining to the function that a problem behavior serves for an
individual. Once the assessment is completed, the behavior analyst can then
determine the appropriate intervention for decreasing the unwanted behaviors.

bad because it was a lot of review until the second semester. All that review helped,

24. How Does Frieda Escape Inertia
The love and companionship of Liza and Frieda enter the narrative as the only
cures to the protagonists stifling feeling of inertia. However, the men are unable
to escape inertia with their women and therefore slip back into the circular pattern
of inertia as before. Bell presents the idea that, for the Underground Man, Liza can
be seen as an indication of a truly viable alternative to the crystal palace, and
consequently, also to the underground (Bell 142). Due to her willingness to listen to
and connect with the Underground Man, Liza s love could have been the antidote
to the Underground Man s inert solitude. His agony waiting for her to come back to
see her again is proven in his explicit desire to escape inertia, cry with her, and...

It was only through the continuation of their love that both of them would be able
to combat inertia, which Pepi directly states when talking to K. (Kafka 270). In
both cases, both the men and the women understand their love as an escape.
However, by giving money to Liza for her act of love, the Underground Man
destroys his opportunity to escape from his state of inertia (Dostoevsky 119 120).
In K. s case, his negligence of his love caused her to abandon him. This moment
destory s K. s previous drive for progress: I am tired, I long to be even more
entirely unoccupied (Kafka 268). While previously he was inspired to work for
her wellbeing, when Frieda leaves, K. loses his desire for working and explicitly
embraces inertia in longing to be even more unoccupied (Kafka 163). To cope with
their loss of love, the two protagonists return to their inert state and try to
rationalize it as the best situation. The Underground Man sees his inertia as a thing
to be proud of: the rest of the world is too cowardly to reject society like he has
(Dostoevsky 123). Even though his degradation is not pleasant, it is better than the
Crystal Palace way of life, and he sees no feasible other alternative, given that he
threw away his one potential

The American Red Cross performed numerous amounts of tests for infectious
diseases on donated blood. Their tests included West Nile virus (WNV), Human
Immunodeficiency viruses Types 1 and 2 (HIV 1,2), Hepatitis B virus (HBV),
Hepatitis C virus (HCV), Syphilis (Treponema pallidum), Human T Lymphotropic
virus (HTLV I/II), and Chagas disease (T. cruzi). Two infectious agents that should
be tested further are herpes simplex virus and ebola. These two viruses should be
tested because both viruses caused a huge outbreak and there is no effective cure
against the virus. Also the herpes virus is lifelong in individuals while ebola can kill
individuals within a matter of days.
Chagas disease (T. cruzi) is a deadly disease triggered by the parasite, Trypanosoma
cruzi (T. cruzi). This disease is commonly found in Latin America but it is also an
endemic in America. A qualitative chemiluminescent immunoassay (ChLIA) was
used to test the blood donations. It aided in detecting any antibodies to the T. cruzi
virus in the human serum and the plasma specimens. The reactive donations with the
disease were tested further by a second screening test and a confirmatory test. These
tests were used to contained positive results. Those reactive blood samples are then

His answer was that growth of knowledge is a progressive construction of logically
embedded structures superseding one another by a process of inclusion of lower less
powerful logical means into higher and more powerful ones up to adulthood.
Therefore, children s logic and modes of thinking are initially entirely different from
those of adults (Smith, 2000).
Piaget claimed that children were in charge of the construction or the building of
their own knowledge and that construction was superior to instruction (Gordon and
Browne, 2004). Piaget thought that educators should provide a stimulating
environment and have the children explore. Teachers should watch and also interact
with the children, but they should let the children find and experience new ideas and
knowledge on their own. (Crain, 2005)One of Piaget s major contributions is what is
known as the general periods of development. He found four major general periods or
stages of child development (Crain, 2005, p. 115): Sensorimotor Intelligence (birth to
two years). Babies organize their physical action schemes, such as sucking, grasping,
and hitting. Preoperational Thought (two to seven years). Children learn to think but
their thinking is illogical and different from that of adults. Concrete Operations
(seven to eleven years). Children develop the capacity to think systematically, but
only when they can refer to concrete objects and activities. Formal Operations (eleven

30. Armada Portrait Analysis
Elizabeth I, queen of England, was very strategic in the way she presented herself to
the public. In my short story, The Queen s Decision, Elizabeth s public and private
selves are evident and occasionally contrast with each other, especially during the
decision to execute Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots. Publicly, the Tudor queen had a
strong aversion to beheading MaryStuart, but her personal insights depict hostility to
the fellow queen.
Elizabeth sitting on a throne made of silk from Asia, in reference to England s
colonial power. The Armada portrait was a public display to spread a positive
image of the queen as propaganda and to showcase the Tudor queen s strength.
Similar to Elizabeth s Armada portrait in which she places her hand on the globe
(particularly North America), Elizabeth is placed directly on colonized land (Asian
silk), portraying England s power over other nations. In this instance, Elizabeth s
publicly demonstrates her power and her physical embodiment of England in a subtle,
meaningful way.
Furthermore, Elizabeth is dressed in a gold and white gown with pearls lining the
bodice, inspired by the Armada portrait again. Dubbed as the virgin queen, white and
pearls are both indicative of virginity and chastity, with gold being symbolic of
wealth. Also, pearls are linked with the moon, an entity that is difficult to reach and
having immense influence over others, similar to Elizabeth herself. Having pearls
line the bodice, where the heart and stomach designate the inward seat of passion,
emotion, secret thoughts, affections, or feelings, (OED) illustrates Elizabeth s ability
to restrain her biological urges. Elizabeth s natural body intersects with the body
politic, in that her natural body is utilized to present a political ideal of her being in
control.
William Cecil mentions Mary s plots against Elizabeth, notably the three major plots
she is suspected of committing during her imprisonment in England. The Ridofli Plot,
The Throgmorton Plot and the Babington Plot are the three times Mary attempted to
kill Elizabeth, with her involvement in the Babington Plot leading to her execution.

The Monster of Living with Grief
As Keanu Reeves once said, Grief changes shapes, but it never ends ( Tragic ).
When it comes to grief there are usually five shapes or stages that people go through:
denial, anger, bargaining, depression and, finally, acceptance. The book A Monster
Calls, by Patrick Ness, is about a young boy who is struggling with school, bullies,
friends, and family when his mother develops a terminal illness. He is visited by
the monster, a massive yew tree, who comes alive to teach Conor the ways of the
world. He also teaches Conor the truth in order to move past his mother s sickness.
Ness shows how people in both literature and real life tend to go through five stages
of grief while dealing with a loved one who has a terminal illness because of the
overwhelming lamentation it inflicts.
The first stage of grief is as the sharks say in Finding Nemo, DENIAL. In the book,
Conor s grandma told him that his mother s condition would not get better with one
of the new treatments. He denied it by saying, The treatments are making her better...
(42). Even though the treatments had not worked, Conor refused to believe that the
treatments will not work because he needs his mother to get better. The American
Psychological Association says that most people deny the problem because it is
easier to distance oneself from friends or family. Once a person isolates from those
who can help, it can lead to

Imperialism is defined as one country s domination of the political, economic, and

imperialism was present and growing. The main countries involved in the
imperialism in Africa were the French, German, and Great Britain. The French s
empire was mainly in North and West Africa while Britain s colonies were scattered
throughout the continent. Germany ruled over such countries as Tanganyika,
Togoland, and Cameroon, until their defeat in World War I. There were many reasons
for the European countries to be competing against each other to gain colonies in

This was one negative effect of imperialism in Africa. While the foreignerswere

the diamond industry lost its popularity which an enormous amount of gold was

Michelob is priced at US$ 3.68 per 6 pack.

Jimmy accidentally was murdered in a fight with a friend which resulted in his
burial without a proper a ceremony or family to say goodbye. Raven s last words
were, ...take care of this for me...not allowed to see... hide it Clarry. Hide it good.
When Raven is talking about it he is referring to a small tin, which he left in
Hazzard s possession that holds something inside that must have been important to
Jimmy which is now hidden in a secret place. Sadie did not correct a mistake but she
did help the situation by finding the hidden tin and giving it to a fellow Aboriginal
40. The Effect Of Decisionary On A Fully Functioning Program
INTRODUCTION Decisionary is a tool designed to resolve indecision. It gets
information from the users and outputs a decision analysis report and a cognitive
bias checklist based on the given information. The scope of this project is intended
to be a proof of concept rather than a fully functioning program. In view of this, we
have a mock up program with three heuristics, two decision tree strategies, and a
function to identify potential biases. Rather than simply providing a suggestion to
the user as most other decision making tools do, Decisionary approaches the
problem in an explorative manner, reframing the problem and helping the user
break the mental deadlock. WHAT IS THE TOOL The overall framework of
Decisionary is a concretized form of the natural flow of decision making.
Accordingly, it is assumed that users have adequate information on their decision.
The user describes the decision to be made, inputs needed information and then
receives the decision analysis report, along with a list of cognitive biases that could
influence the final decision. In the case of low stake decisions however, the user
can go straight to randomizer to help pick a random option. For the first route, no
matter which heuristics are suggested to users, they will be asked to go through a
checklist of facts that will help identify cognitive biases which might be involved in
the user s decision. The program will output a decision report including suggestions
framed under the various
41. The Dual Party Bill
Criminal Justice reform has dramatically increased lately, and has become a current
issue amongst all states and more than enough voters mandating a response from
Congress.
On October 1st, 2015, Charles Grassley whom is from Iowa and is the Republican
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman led the proposal Sentencing Reform and
Corrections Act of 2015. The dual party bill was also supported and sponsored by
Richard Durbin (Democrat from Illinois), Cory Booker (Democrat from New Jersey),
Patrick Leahy (Democrat from Vermont), Mike Lee (Republican from Utah), Sheldon
Whitehouse (Democrat from Rhode Island), John Cornyn (Republican from Texas),
Lindsey Graham (Republican from South Carolina), and Chuck Schumer (Democrat
from New York). The purpose of the dual party bill is to diminish the amount of
federal mandated conditions that are in relation to drug and gun sentencing
provisions. This also includes arranging to make the new provisions subsequent; raise
the release exemption to the drug mandated sentence minimums; due to the Fair
Sentencing Act of 2010 to develop to be subsequently operational, and reward
incarcerated prisoners the capability to save credits for the time they have served
already when attending rehabilitation programs.
The bill was endorsed by a divided vote of the Judiciary Committee on an election
poll of 15 to 5 on October 22, 2015. For the bill to become an active law, there were
a number of things that they would need to undergo for it to be. The
42. America s Expansion Of The New Lands
The Manifest Destiny was in nature a benevolent movement and it was also seen as
a well intended deal that was bound to make the country more successful through the
means of expanding its boundaries over a vast area. However, the approach which
the nation took in the acquisition of the new lands suggests differently as it did in
fact greatly benefit America but was truly a much more aggressive form of
imperialism. America s strive to move westward was a thought since the very
beginning and expansion helped portray the country s true potential. This was clearly
seen throughout the entire first half of the 19th century. Starting in the year 1803, the
United Statesgovernment purchased the Louisiana Territory from Napoleon I of
France, under the lead of President Thomas Jefferson. With the purchase, the country
doubled in size and only increased the movement of people into the interior of the
continent. By 1820, settlers had moved well beyond the Mississippi River, and as
years passed it was evident that the west was increasing much more rapidly than the
rest of the nation. In the 1840s, the United States had made many significant
purchases and additions to the country s land. One of these was the annexation of
Texas. In the 1820s the U.S. attempted to purchase Texas from Mexico twice but both
offers were refused. It wasn t until after violence between Americans and Mexicans in
Texas began that the American settlers proclaimed their independence from Mexico
and eventually led
43. Lloyd George Contribution
David Lloyd George was a British prime minister during World War I. During this
time period, countries involved in the war went through rough times. This essay will
discuss George s early life, education, his political life, highlights of his ministership
during the war, and his life after his ministership and the war.
On Saturday the 17th day of January, in the year of our Lord, 1863, in Chorlton on
Medlock, Manchester, David Lloyd George was born to William George and
Elizabeth Lloyd. Unfortunately, when Lloyd George was only one, his dad died
of pneumonia, forcing his family to move to his uncle s house. George s uncle,
Richard Lloyd, was both a shoemaker and a minister who served at local churches.
Along with being a shoemaker and a minister, Richard Lloyd was also a strong
liberal who influenced George in his political life and his later life. Shortly after
moving, George went to Llanystumdwy National School for educational purposes.
After going to Llanystumdwy Nation School for a few years, he and his family
decided that tutors would have more of an educational influence on him.
In 1884, Lloyd George became a solicitor; he started his practice in 1885. It was also
this year he became politically active; he had campaigned as a Liberal in the 1885
election. On January 24, 1888, David Lloyd George married Margaret Owen. She
was from a family of farmers. Lloyd George also founded a newspaper, the Ugdorn
Rhyddid, and won the Llanfrothen burial case. In 1889, he joined the
