managed to put all the shifts in the worst locations in the entire book. For example,
the book begins with the death of Arthur Leander but doesn t give background
information until nearly the end of the book.

shadows. His name was Arthur Leander. He was fifty one years old, and there were

O.K, maybe I exaggerated, but only tidbits of information were dropped within the
text. The book would be better organized if it were divided into multiple volumes.
For example, volume one could be about Arthur Leander and the time leading up to
the pandemic. Volume twocould be about Kristen and the Traveling Symphony and
volume three could be about this mystery town. Also, multiple volumes would allow
the author to reveal more information and not leave out blanks in the plot.
Finally, at the end of the book, Kristen peeks through a telescope and sees a town
with actual electricity and lights.

While he was a professor of arts and design at the New York University in 1835,
Samuel Morse proved that signals could be transmitted by wire. He used impulses of
electrical current to deflect an electromagnet, which moved a marker to produce
written codes on a strip of paper thus the invention of Morse Code. The following
year, the device was modified to emboss the paper with dots and dashes. Samuel gave
a public demonstration in 1838, but it was not until five years later that the Congress

In the United States, the two largest contributors to greenhouse gas emissions are
transportation and electricity. Although limiting the emissions from electricity will
be important in the future, transportation would be much easier to fix now.
Greenhouse gases such as methane, carbon dioxide, water vapor and nitrous oxide
not only pollute the air we breathe, but they also store energy that could be causing
climate change. These molecules trap heat from leaving our atmosphere which is
believed to cause the earths increase in heat. Most Americans see climate change to
be an issue that should be acted on, and since greenhouse gases could be causing
climate change the emissions of these gases need to be limited. Recent studies show
that transportation produces nearly 27% of greenhouse gases in the United States
(Sources of Greenhouse GasEmissions, 2017). In addition, the leading producer
within the transportation category is light duty vehicles. Many people say that
airplanes and ships are to blame for the majority of greenhouse gas production in
transportation, but the majority of the pollution actually comes from the cars

2015). The United States government needs to take charge and make changes that
will help limit the production of greenhouse gases. To fix these issues, the
