the gendersocialization process. Dolls boost the cultural ideals that are linked to the place of girls
in the society. Barbie dolls tend to send negative images to young girls since they illuminate a

negative effects this doll has on the gender socialization of girls. This experiment seeks to assess

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 had a stranglehold on the number two spot on my most
anticipated movies of the year list, behind only a certain eight episode. Its predecessor is one of
the best movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and this one reunited the people who made
that movie so great. Nevertheless, I did not expect this sequel to top the original. Instead, I thought
it would be an extremely fun time at the movies that was not quite as good as Guardians of the
Galaxy. I was right, but this movie made it a far closer contest than I guessed.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 picks up relatively soon after the first movie. Our heroes are now a
fairly cohesive team/family, though not without their conflicts. They save the world and... Show
By that I mean I think Gunn could have made this movie at least as equally epic and grand as the
original and still had the intimacy he was so clearly striving for. The narrative here just wasn t as
gripping or engaging as the first one, in part because the heroes didn t have some epic mission to
complete for the majority of the film. I was still in the story, but not as much as I could have been.
Lastly, the soundtrack here needs a few words. Guardians of the Galaxy features one of my
favorite soundtracks of all time, so this one had a lot to live up to, though once again I didn t
