Run Lola Run, is a critically acclaimed 1998 German Film directed and written by

beginning of the film Manni calls Lola and asks here what happened and why she
was not there to pick him up. During their scene a lot of cross cutting takes place.
When Lola is speaking it is on her and cuts to Manni when he is speaking. When

see that she is concerned, this shot is followed by a panicking Manni who ask her
where she was and why didn t she pick him up. We find out that Lola s moped was
stolen and caused her to be late which in turn caused Manni to take the train and

My classroom is geared for a Kindergarten class of 20 students, in a general education
setting. The learning environment has been organized to maximize the students
safety, allow for student and teacher movement, promote collaboration among peers,
and foster student engagement in classroom activities. Furniture utilized in this
setting is developmentally and size appropriate, so that children are comfortable.
Storage cubbies, equipment, and materials have been placed in areas that are easily
accessible to both myself and my students without restricting the flow of classroom

decorate every inch of space on my classroom walls. I feel that this gives the
appearance of clutter and pose more of a problem than a purpose. I utilized neutral,

Meaning that when someone is going through hard times and their home life is in
pieces they look for someone else that cares, whether that person is good or bad. In
a gang everyone is close and everyone cares about each other. When these potential
gang members come into a gang they look up to the other members in the gang
and will end up doing anything that another member would ask them to do.
Including killing, theft, dealings narcotics, anything as long as it will make them
fit in and feel loved. Part of the problem is that in the large major cities youngsters
who are suffering from boredom, despair, and poverty can easily be enticed into
the idea of being part of a gang. With these ideas of involvement, it is increasing the
gang membership in larger cities. Studies have shown an increase in gang
involvement since 2003 but now is stabilizing. This is a growing problem because
if we do not increase activities such as prevention groups or getting the police
involved in community programs in cities encouraging youth participation it could
begin to rise again over a few more years. Police need to not be just a figure in a
uniform, but get involved and let youth and adults know that the figure in the
uniform is a person who cares about them and the community.

Harrison Bergeron and Old Glory are both in the science fiction genre and take
place in a future where the government is in full control of everything and everyone.
In Harrison Bergeron , everyone is equal and the Handicap General is the person that
makes that happen, weather by means of handicaps or being forcing people to wear
masks. Harrison Bergerondoesn t like this and tries to put a stop to this but ends up
being killed by the Handicap General. Old Glory is about a young boy s
grandfather being upset about a new law being passed and tries to protest about it,
but similar to Harrison Bergeron, he also ends up getting killed by the government.
Both authors use many science fiction elements to help develop the theme of an

For example, the two stories are only a few decades apart. The story Old Glory
took place in the 2041 and in Harrison Bergeron it says, The year was 2081...
Another example is that in Old Glory the USA s flag had more stars on it and that
indicates that the US has twelve more countries than it does now. In Old Glory the
main character s great grandfather says, Thirteen stripes, sixtyвЂђtwo stars, and not a
bit of meaning. Also, even though Harrison Bergeron takes place in 2081, it doesn
t have as much futuristic advancements as Old Glory , which takes place in 2041.
In Harrison Bergeron , George and Hazel still have an old television with a
television tube in it, but in Old Glory , people have things called halo sets . This
element of sci fi helps develop the theme because the stories are showing what could
happen in the future if people aren t aware of what the government is capable
