devils on horseback . This literary feature is one of my favorites from the whole
poem because the devils on horseback refer to the soldiers on horses. I think this is

The Bible s Book of Revelations serves as one of the most cryptic and difficult to
understand books of the Bible, known for its repeated use of symbolism and
infamously strange stories. The passage provided exemplifies the cryptic and
symbolic aspect of Revelations with two different sequences, one going from
chapters 12 to 13 and the other being chapter 21. The first portion of the book
follows a woman who gives birth to a child who is destined to be a great ruler but
faces a dragon who intends to eat her child upon birth. The woman is able to
escape using wings given to her by the heavens, and is nourished for a very long
period of time. Afterwards, a beast rises out of the sea and serves as a blasphemous

Procedure:
Making Solution A
First, obtain 10 mL of distilled water using a graduated cylinder, then pour into one
50 mL beaker. Next, obtain 0.100 g of sodium iodate (NaIO3) using a digital scale
(0.104 g actually used). Then obtain 0.200 g of sulfamic acid (H3NSO3) using a
digital scale (0.210 g actually used). Finally, add the sodium iodate into the beaker
containing the distilled water followed by the addition of the sulfamic acid. Solution
A is now complete.
Making Solution B
First, obtain 10 mL of 3% hydrogen peroxide solution (H2O2), then pour into a new
50 mL beaker. Next, obtain 0.200 g of malonic acid (CH2(COOH)2) using a digital
scale (.204 g actually used). Then obtain a sample of manganese sulfate (MnSO4)
equivalent to a grain of sand. Add the malonic acid into the beaker containing the 3%
hydrogen peroxide, followed by the addition of the manganese sulfate sample.
Finally, pour 1/4 teaspoon of starch power and gently mix everything together by
swirling. Solution B is now complete.
Mixing Solution B and Solution A
Carefully swirl both solutions to help all solids dissolve into the solution. Make sure
to pour Solution B into Solution A, then mix throughly.
Observations:
After swirling the resulting solution, it kept cycling through appearing as yellow and
clear. However, there was constantly a small patch of blue residue caused by some

There are certain countries that are ran through dictatorship, they abuse the power
they have to the country. In the story, The Complete Persepolis written by Marjane
Satrapi, she changes the view towards Iran through occurrences and eastern
fundamentalist ideas. In 1979, there was the Islamic revolution in Iran. This year was
the year that was going to have many changes to the country. In chapter one of the
Veil, there are characters and their freedom of expression being repressed as well as
the movement of repression where the Iranians were repressed in public spaces and
by public figures.

Even the youngest women are resisting to wear the veil, and is a great example of
how western influence is victimizing women that are oppressed and are categorized
into a suppressive group by wearing the veil. Satrapi was stuck in two mind sets
which were the liberal minded world of her parents and her religiosity. Another
crucial moment of the chapter is where she says, I really didn t know what to think
about the veil. Deep down I was very religious but as a family we were very

figures. Satrapies mom was on the newspapers, because a German journalist took a
photo of her (5). Her mom would hide most of the time, this was creating some sort
of discomfort for her, and obviously she was scared. She even had to dye her hair so

plied. After RF pulse is removed, the protons relax through the recovery of mag
netization parallel to the direction of B0 (longitudinal or T1 relaxation) and the de
cay of transverse magnetization caused by the de phasing of the spins (transverse
or T2 relaxation) [4]. The tissue specific parameters of proton density, T1 relaxa
tion, and T2 relaxation gives contrast to the MR images. Due to this principle, MRI
gives great spatial resolution for soft tissues which contain more water molecules.
The major drawback of this technique is its relatively poor sensitivity, due to the
weak signal from protons [5]. T1 and T2 contrast agents which shorten relaxation
times have been developed to overcome its poor sensitivity and improve specifici ty.
Gd(III) chelates are the most widely used T1 contrast agents in clinical applica tions
[6]. Although Gd(III) chelates have good paramagnetic property and short en T1
relaxation, the toxicity of gadolinium ions and their rapid renal clearance limit their

this statement throughout her entire life as she served the poorest of the poor
throughout the world. Mother Teresa built schools to teach, hospitals to cure,
orphanages to love, and hospice homes to comfort. All of these projects were based
on the Catholic Church s proclamation human life is sacred and the dignity of the
human person is the foundation of society. ( ) By establishing Missionaries of Charity
in 1948, which served society s poor and marginalized, Mother Teresa influenced
world leaders by living the social teachings of the Catholic Church. Mother Teresa
grew up in a very loving family that was committed to their Catholic faith. Her
mother always told her children that they should never eat a bite of food without
sharing it with another. Mother Teresa recalls that her mother often invited the poor
