Ericsson 5G Core System
Ericsson launched its 5G Core System on February 15, 2017, focusing on cloud infrastructure and network slicing to facilitate new services and address various industries. The system offers advanced capabilities such as federated network slicing and application cloud transport, aiming to enhance connectivity, agility, and efficiency. By December 2016, Ericsson had signed 28 partner agreements with leading telecommunications companies to accelerate the adoption of 5G technology.
