cells. How can a prison cell even be luxurious? If you have enough money or your family name has
enough pull then you can get anything you want. Money means power and power is the only thing
anyone wants in America. To achieve the American dream you have to be ruthless. If you are poor you
have t work ten times harder than the rich white guy. If you are a black women in America you have to
have the work ethic of white and black men and white women. In our new age society there is a
ghastly amount of oppression it is unbelievable given the day and age. The American people

President Mckinley s Influence On The Cuban Revolution
On June 26, 1897 President McKinley also convinced Madrid to end the policy of reconcentration and
try having programs to help the Cuban people. President McKinley proclaimed that America and Cuba
had a special relationship this seemed to be a threat towards Spain and that they should heed Americas
request to stop battling Cuba. The killing of Antonio Cánoras del Castillo made it easier for each
region to compromise. Because of his death General Valeriano Weyler wanted to help the refuges and
to also form a Cuban autonomy. The Queen of Spain Maria Christina came up with this plan during
November of 1897 the rebels refused this proposition because they knew that Spain would stay in
power and have a strong army. Spain did not give up the idea of being in power and kept fighting a
useless war. Many of the Spanish peninsulares hated the idea of autonomy and would do anything in
their power to stop the new official Spanish policy. The revolts that were going on during this time
made America not trust Spain and made America believe that Spain cannot control their affairs. Cuba
had many revolts for example, both sides in Cuba preferred war to reform, and the rebels declared for
full independence (342). On February 15th, 1898 an American ship named the Maine was visiting

minimalistic yet stunning cinematography, the series broke boundaries by pushing the rules of film. It

Robot for most of the show. Occurring in the form of his father, Mr. Robot usually disagrees with
Elliot s decisions. Although we watch them have full conversations, they re only hallucinations. We
come to see that he only speaks the truth in his head. When forced to converse with real characters
such as his friend Leon, the things he says are purely white lies, only said to occupy the other person s
need for conversation. While these exchanges are happening, Elliot falls back to narration in his mind,
explaining what he really was thinking. The things Leon says in real life will be responded to in
narrative form unlike a normal two way conversation. This gives us the sense that people use Elliot to
get out what s on their mind, without knowing his own problems. A contrast between personal beliefs
and reality is something that irks the viewer to agree with Elliot s view of the world. By writing dialog
in this style, some of the emotions portrayed become transparent to us, the viewer. The weight of

Taking a Look at Chick-Fill-A
Which came first: the chicken sandwich or the egg sandwich? The world may never know. However,
the world does know the chicken sandwich easily trumps an embryonic hoagie. The hard working
Samuel Truett Cathy rose from the ashes of the Great Depression and established his own ideas of
modern chicken consumption. In 1946, Cathy constructed a small restaurant, the Dwarf Grill, which
was named after how miniscule the space was. Four tables and ten stools later, Cathy desired an
expansion and to revolutionize the world of accelerated dining. He yearned for a poultry meal that was
as elegant as a beef filet (hence the name Chick Fillet , however, neither time consuming to craft, nor
expensive to purchase (Starrs). The owners of Goode Brothers Poultry, a business in Atlanta, Jim and
Hall Goode, were approached by an airline to design a boneless, skinless chicken breast that would fit
in the plastic trays they used to serve meals on planes. After accomplishing such an innovating tax, the
Goode s had remaining pieces of chicken; that is where Samuel Truett Cathy enters in this poultry
fairytale. Cathy s Dwarf Grill neither excelled nor failed, though, it enabled Cathy to further his
ambition, essentially a springboard to success. However, the business itself lacked potential to grow.
The Goode s approached Cathy to develop some sort of innovative method with the left over chicken.
Having previously toyed with idea of chicken already, Cathy undoubtedly took the challenge. The

Neil Shusterman s Unwind
Unwind was a book filled with sass, adventure, and daring escapes. I give it a four point five stars out
of five. The character development was phenomenal and the main female protagonist was great
without being too annoying. But the ending, I feel, was a flop. It was building up to this huge climax
and it just didn t feel that exciting when it happened. Other than the ending being a flop this was a
great book and I feel that more people should read Neil Shusterman s books because his books are
unique from anything else in the YA scene and they will just pull you in from the first sentence. I think
that dystopian has become a very worn out genre in YA literature but this doesn t feel like dystopian it

Harrison Ford is a great actor and he s old enough to fit the bill for the Admiral. Harrison Ford is a
grumpy little cinnamon roll in real life so I think he would do good depicting a fictional grumpy
cinnamon roll. The Admiral s third rule is that, my way is the only way (Shusterman 197), and
Harrison Ford s characters all have that sort of vibe and he plays that role quite well. The Admiral
fought in the civil war and has seen the horrors of battle, in this line it says I fought in the Heartland
War. The scars you so impertinently assumed were transplant scars came from a grenade (Shusterman
222). The Heartland War took place many years before the events in the book take place and Harrison
Ford is around the age of seventy two, so it seems like they d be around the same age.
I also really like Logan Lerman as Connor. Even though they screwed up the Percy Jackson movies, I
still really liked Logan Lerman as Percy Jackson and Connor reminded me of Percy Jackson in
mannerism and in looks. When Connor just randomly says nice socks (Shusterman 101), it reminds
me of something Percy would have done. For me, Percy will forever be Logan Lerman so Connor just
ended up looking like Logan Lerman. Connor is described as having brown eyes on the first page and
Logan Lerman has blue eyes but I think that s a miniscule detail. He could always wear contacts if it
bothers people that
