didn t understand on the first question I was very close to the correct answer but I factored
incorrectly and on the second question I remembered a vital rule in limits which is 1 divided by
an X to a power is 0. The next question had me deal with graphing functions within a function and
that confused me quite a lot and after getting tutored these functions make sense to me and I can
graph them as easy as a normal function, but we also had to evaluate if the limits exist and if they

The bluefin population has declined at a steady rate for several years and despite some measures
being taken to manage the population in the Atlantic, it still remains to be excessively hunted. The
species is prized by both wealthy sushi consumers due to its rich, fatty flesh and by fishermen who
can sell a single catch for tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars. Currently, this combination has
brought the species to the brink of extinction, with environmentalists claiming the species has no
chance to recover if existing fishing practices are allowed to continue. The issue of the declining
bluefin population is not simply the dismissal of catch limits, but also the ways in which fish are
caught. One of the most wasteful fishing techniques is the use of surface longlines. These lines
reach up to forty miles in length with baited hooks attached along the lines. The lines are deployed

AU Chamber Ensemble Critique
I attended Auburn University s AU Chamber Ensembles at The Goodwin Recital Hall on Monday,
November 14, 2016, that began at 7:30 p.m. The concert featured performances from Auburn
Bassoon Ensemble, Auburn Guitar Ensemble, Auburn Wind Quintet, Auburn String Trio, Nova
Saxophone Quartet, and Auburn Horn Ensemble. The ensemble lasted approximately 60 minutes
and offered a very gratifying listening experience. The audience dressed very casual but the AU
Chamber Ensemble performers wore all black. The stage was very simple though each ensemble
had a different number of performers so they changed the way they stood/sat down before each
ensemble.
The performers did exceptionally well in their representation of the music. It would be a blunder to

Kerkorian is an American composer who wrote works for orchestra, concert band, chamber music

Since the advent of the internal combustion engine nearly two centuries ago, humans have
become increasingly reliant on fuel to power these engines. Our only method, historically, for
obtaining this fuel is to probe the earth and oceans until crude oil is struck. Crude oil is termed a
fossil fuel as it takes hundreds of millions of years to form. Crude oil is extracted from a
geological reservoir and subsequently refined into the various fuels which we use at ever increasing
rates (petroleum, diesel, aviation fuel etc). Unfortunately we are not finding new oil deposits at
anything like the rates we are consuming, so logically we will eventually run out. Many of the
alternate energy sources currently available (electric engines, fuel cells and ethanol) have low
energy density and do not scale well to larger vehicles like aeroplanes and trucks. Therefore finding
new renewable sources of energy to power our current and future devices is paramount to our
continuation as a successful species.
