Naya Raipur is a planned city being developed 20 km from Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, India. It is envisioned as a green and sustainable city that will serve as the new administrative capital. The city's development plan covers 222 square km and will be developed in phases to accommodate a population of over 600,000. Infrastructure projects underway include the city administration complex, housing projects, roads, water supply and a bus rapid transit system to provide public transportation.

Compromising meausures by govt:
"Pooling" of land for the capital would begin tomorrow as a “majority" of 22,405 farmers in 29 villages
Clearing therir debts in banks upto 1.5 lakh in single installment
under the package, farmers will get compensation per acre share of devoloped area
