1) The study examined the effects of follicular size on the percentage of oocyte recovery and maturation in Iraqi sheep. 2) A significant difference was found between large follicles (<2.5mm) and small follicles (>2mm) in terms of percentage of oocyte recovery (67.02±2.2 vs 64.18±7.5) and percentage of oocyte maturation (44.5±2.07 vs 39.3±8.5). 3) The results indicate that follicular size can affect the percentage of oocyte recovery and maturation in vitro in Iraqi sheep.
