Ebola is a virus first discovered in Africa that is transmitted through contact with infected animals or humans and their bodily fluids. It has an incubation period of 2-21 days and depending on the strain, 90% of infected individuals will die as there is currently no vaccine or approved treatment for Ebola. Common symptoms include fever, headache, fatigue, diarrhea, vomiting, and sore throat.
