How to make your team 5 times more productiveGrowing Agile
A talk for the Product Meetup group, aimed at helping Product Managers and Product Owners make their teams more productive.
We share our top tips in this talk. Each tip is something we’ve personally tried with several teams and seen significant improvements in productivity and morale as a result.
Have you spent many hours producing English content just to have it sitting on your site without attracting any traffic nor links?
Do you have at least one piece of content on your site right now that has achieved media mentions or blog features?
If you answered 'yes' to either of those questions, you have all it takes to expand the reach of your content immensely by getting placements and links from some of the biggest publishers from around the world.
In this webinar, Gisele Navarro will share two case studies drawn from NeoMam Studios' international digital PR campaigns, and will show you how to start promoting your content across the globe, connecting with non-english nations from South America to South Korea.
After the webinar you will understand:
- Why translating your existing English content is a must in 2015.
- What you need to know before launching an international digital PR campaign.
- How to identify those pieces of content you've already produced, which have potential to go global.

Imagine you have a 100 days and your only directive is that you **must** spend at least an hour a day in the code. Could you build an army of bots and take over the world?
Recently I've taken part in the #100DaysOfCode Challenge, which is designed to help beginners get started with meaningful and fun activities, even when they have no previous knowledge.
Together we'll cover the basics of bot building and go under the hood to look at the code and the basic architecture that holds it together. We'll examine some of the bots you can build and by the end of the session you'll be able to start building your own robot minions.
Industry Presentation: Smart Data Driven Decision Makingdmg events Asia
Brands are sitting on untapped gold mine of user data. User data enabled decision making can boost the ROI, effectiveness, efficiency and accountability of your marketing efforts by multiple folds.
Narayan Murthy (VP, Global Sales & Strategy) will share his insights on different types of data sets available with decision makers and effective data enabled decision making — including their strengths and weaknesses.
This session takes a look at the range of experiences we have as individuals, and what we can draw from our own experiences to improve how we design and build for others.
We looked at how much we delve into that range, how much we shy away from the extremes, from our intuitions, and how we overlook the nuance in favour of the coarse and the safe.
We went through some frameworks that help apply these conversations at work, how you can format insights that feed into design specifications, and we discussed how these principles apply to facilitation and user research, product, and service design.
Why?
We know people are at the core of what we do, but we rarely explore them with as much rigour or subtlety as we do more technical domains. Our best developers, designers, and product managers are rarely able to talk about humans with as much confidence and nuance as they can talk about ruby, typefaces or commercial strategy.
It's hard. Partly because the topic is so subjective - it's so close to all of us, and it's hard to lay claim to being an expert. It can also be confronting, we can lack the vocabulary, and it's easy to be wrong. But what do we lose by holding back from fully exploring the human dimension of the problems we're trying to solve? What tools can we use to make these conversations easier, and focused on product outcomes?
One of the biggest mistakes businesses make when they first venture into content marketing is a lack of strategy. Often they adopt a 'one-size-fits-all' approach to their content marketing channels only to see their efforts dashed. The truth is what works on social media, does not necessarily work on search, and the reason usually boils down to how your audience uses these channels. Discover to how understanding audience's intent on Search and on Social Media can help you build a holistic content marketing strategy that works.
In this presentation by Daniel Hochuli, you'll learn:
- Why same content published on both search and social media often fails to deliver results.
- How to develop and optimise a content marketing strategy that best suits your digital channels.
- How to intelligently report content marketing success using audience metrics.
Why A Press Release Is Not A Blog Post - And Why It MattersSha Menz
Press Releases have been around for ever, but these days the lines have blurred a little too much on exactly what a press release is, how it looks, and most importantly what it does.
In this session at Pubcon Vegas 2016, Sha Menz reveals the negative effects of mistaking your press release for a blog post and what to do if you have those scary press releases still sitting out there attracting Penguin to your website. Drawing on her background as a newspaper editor, Sha also provides insight into the real purpose of those releases and how they fit into your Brand Strategy.
From a place of curiosity (as opposed to judgement) you will explore your feelings, emotions, actions. We take some time to set the scene and still your mind and inner critic. And then the work will begin.
What is inside you yearning to be heard? What is it your body wants to say to your mind? What is important to you?
This is deep YOU work - you will not be sharing with others - instead you will explore where your heart and mind needs you to go. The final part of this will be exploring joy and how that might look for you.
The advent of Industry 4.0 with its niche and sophisticated Deep Learning Algorithms and Technology has enabled a Digital Automation) revolution across sectors, and Software Testing is not left out as well- Test automation is becoming an integral part of every project replacing Manual methods of Testing.
Why Tech Conferences Can Suck for Women (And How to Fix It)Andrea Zoellner
There are subtle ways the tech industry leaves young women out. With programming, accessibility, codes of conduct or the lack thereof, tech conferences can be unpleasant for women rather than a great experience organizers try so hard to create. In this talk, I’ll lay out some obvious and not-so-obvious ways tech conferences could be better spaces for women interested in tech.

Analiza svijesti javnosti o upravljanju otpadom i uključivanje javnosti u pro...PRIME Communication

Their development follows the rules of natural selection and the format is very close to typical brand communications.

Between the constant demands to show immediate ROI on every dollar spent to the overwhelming cluster of marketing technology tools, it can be hard just to keep your head above water. But, for a marketer to be successful today, he or she has to cut through the noise and focus on doing fewer things that deliver big results. In this session, Jeff Perkins will talk about how to survive and thrive in this ever-changing digital age.

Observability Concepts EVERY Developer Should Know (DevOpsDays Seattle)Paige Cruz
Because observability is such a broad topic – and often something we learn on the job – it can feel like there’s too much to learn at once. But you don’t have to tackle everything and can start with the basics and build from there!
Monitoring and observability aren’t traditionally found in software curriculums and many of us cobble this knowledge together from whatever vendor or ecosystem we were first introduced to and whatever is a part of your current company’s observability stack.
No matter what tooling is in place, there are still observability fundamentals that developers should know. That’s why I’ve put together a primer on the different telemetry types, when to use them, how to understand the data journey, and what to look for in time series graphs.

Javnost, javnost, javnost, javna sfera i internet (Public, Publicness, Publicity, Public Sphere, and Internet) ili: Trans-svemirska Zombi crkva blaženog zvonjenja
sarađivanja s različitim vrstama javnosti, planiranja i provo|enja promjena.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
