The document proposes and analyzes a two-layer photonic crystal fiber with a Borosilicate crown glass core and different air hole diameters in the inner and outer cladding layers to achieve a flat chromatic dispersion. Simulations using the scalar effective index method show that the proposed Borosilicate crown glass fiber can achieve nearly zero and flat dispersion across a wide wavelength range, comparable to silica-based photonic crystal fibers. Key parameters varied in the simulations include the inner and outer cladding air hole diameters and pitch to optimize the dispersion characteristics.
