different music magazines, the
double page spread has a large
image, with a column of text
decide it and a title (or
something relating to article e.g.
quote from the example).
Looking at these, I know that my
magazine must include these
conventions, in order for my
magazine to look rational.

Magazine logo- To brand the page
Title of Contents page- This is for the person
who bought the magazine to know what
pages to go on, it also organises the page
(clear bold title)
Issue number- This is professional and a way
of keeping track of the amount of magazines
that’s been published
Secondary issues- This gives people more of
an idea in what else is going to be included in
the magazine
Main image- This is usually related to the
front cover image. This would mean the
band/artist that is used as a main image
would have a double page spread, which in
shows the importance of their appearance in
this issue of the magazine
Promotional features- To advertise what else
will be shown in the magazine e.g. an
exclusive product
Summarised information- This gives the
reader a better understanding on what the
picture is about
Page number- The page number is placed on
different image stating what page you’ll find
out more on the band/artist.
