Editor's Notes

  • #2 Antonio Vincent, broadcast journalist, media student, and so much more.
  • #3 I started my journey acting in films, and television shows. I grew up in New Jersey and was on a train to NYC whenever my agent found me a job. I fell in love with the set, the family vibe, the energy, and the film making process. I really thought that was going to be my life.
  • #4 I continued to do that, went on auditions, and wasn’t really getting any call backs. I would go into the auditions and give it my all, I left my heart in the room ever audition. I went into high school with an open mind, and wanted to try something new.
  • #5 There were open spots in the television production class, and I quickly signed up. I had never really known what television production was, or what the news was. I would love forward to that class, I would pray that the time in the class would slow down.
  • #6 I was doing everything in the class, I went in and gave it my all, and I was so captivated. The class, the teacher, the equipment, the feeling, I loved it all. I had fallen in love and television production became my life.
  • #7 I was able to produce news pieces for school television, for local television, and also for my YouTube channel. Producing was becoming second nature to me, I quickly became an executive producer for my school news channel.
  • #8 Most times I spent the class behind the scenes, then one day the news anchor was sick. The teacher asked me to fill in for him during the morning announcements. I of course said yes. I sat in the church, the lights came up, the prompter began rolling, and it was like I was in heaven. I became a regular anchor on the school news. I anchored the news for a local Christian channel. I went out and interviewed random people on the street to develop my craft.
  • #9 While I was doing this, I realized something. I found my true passion. I found what I was good at. Every opportunity I had to produce a video I took it. I thought film making was my passion, but broadcast journalism was my true passion. I could do it every minute of every day, and never get tired.
  • #10 Now I have found my passion, and what can I do besides chase it. I produced interview clips for my YouTube channel, and got the attention of a Los Angeles Talent Manager. He found me, and believed in my passion. He saw my talent, sometimes when I didn’t even see it myself. I was developing content for my blog, and chasing my passion.
  • #11 High School Graduation was coming and I wasn’t sure what to do next. My mom opens my eyes to Full Sail. I went on the campus tour, checked out some of their class content, met with an admission advisor and that was it. I enrolled in college at Full Sail University.
  • #12 I have always loved communicating, telling stories, and media so Media Communications became my major at Full Sail. Ever since day one I have loved it, and making steps towards my goals.
  • #13 January of 2016 I will complete my degree at Full Sail. I will obtain my Bachelors in Media Communications from Full Sail University. I may continue to obtain my masters but I have not finalized that idea yet.
  • #14 I walk acorss the stage, and get my degree. What’s next? I will begin looking for jobs/internships in a television news room.
  • #15 I will start in the news room, and then work my way up to becoming a broadcast journalist. Reporting stories for the world to hear. Stories that matter, and stories that are important.
  • #16 My Philosophy is this… The world is filled with stories, and I will use my platform to share them.
  • #17 I also have been blessed and lucky enough to direct and produce our Christmas production at my church. We are also working on a summer short YouTube series. Creativity has become my life, and I love it.
  • #26 People tell me to describe myself in two words. First, I had no idea what to say but now the two words stay the same every time some one asks me… Dream Chaser! I have my dreams/aspirations and I am chasing them.
