This document provides guidance on analyzing and creating double page spreads (DPS) for magazines. 6.  You will now create a design for a DPS using one of the photographs you took
in your shoot last week.
 To complete this task you should:
 Consider the relationship between the text and the image.
 Where will the main article go?
 Where will the callouts and pull quotes go?
 Think about the positioning and content of the flash?
 Think about where is your article header going to be?
 While completing this task you should think about why these elements and
images are relevant to the genre of your image.
 Look at the example DPS for some inspiration.
