Ct, Mri, And Coronal Images Of The Body Planes
CT This week I rotated through CT. CT is computed tomography. CT uses special x ray machines
to show detailed images of the body planes. This machine splits the body into axial, sagittal, and
coronal images on one scan. Some CT scans are done with contrast and some are done without
contrast. Contrast in used to highlight the vessels in the body so they will show up bright on
the image. The contrast is injected through an IV that is inserted by either a tech or a nurse.
Most scans were done on the chest, abdomen or pelvis but I also seen a few soft tissue neck
scans and head scans. CT does both out patients and inpatients. They have a busy schedule and is
very hard for them to stay on track. It doesn t take much for them to fall behind. I enjoyed
working in CT and cannot wait to go back. All the techs that we were working with were very
nice and willing to help. They also taught us the basics to using a CT machine. I got select the
protocol for the scan that was ordered, scan the scout image and set the margins for the actual CT
scan. They also showed me how to load up the injector with the appropriate amount of contrast and

Each volume of the solution was placed in volumetric flasks, and in each flask, same amount of
concentrated NH3 was added. The same procedures were also done in the preparation of the diluted
unknown Cu(II) solution. Addition of ammonia caused the formation of deeper blue copper
ammonia complex which allowed the spectrophotometer to detect the solution easily due to
increase in its absorbance. The formation of the complex is shown by the following chemical

them. If they are concentrated in any space, it is the space of neglect and impoverishment. Filmic
landscapes in The Bicycle Thief reveal the reel and the real, the widespread social conditions and
their social meanings for the working class in desperate conditions. De Sica uses mise en scene to
reveal poverty and mobility to underline the lack of movement of the poor. In the end, they steal
from each other, an ironic misdeed, when the rich steals from them the most, specifically by

Technological Progression
As the world enters a new era of technological progression and evolution, the popularity and use of
technology for entertainment and more practical uses has skyrocketed. I have been alive long
enough to observe some of the changes taking place. Some of these changes include including
nearly everyone in high school texting on smartphone, so many people are choosing to talk over the
internetrather than in person. We are truly in an age of technology, a sort of future imagined by
those before us, where people keep their calendars on their phones and do work on tablets and
computers instead of sheets of paper, and can video chat with anyone anywhere around the globe.

This inspired me to participate in the mead film fest with my little brother. We submitted the
video and ended up getting 2nd place in the festival, and it was an awesome experience. I am
already brainstorming ideas for next year s festival. Technology has also kept me entertained
and inspired I other ways. I have played video games my entire life. Not only do they provide
entertainment, but they have also taught me problem solving skills using creativity and
thinking outside of the box. Something about games has always grabbed my attention,and kept
it. One of my favorite things to do is play online games with my friends. Teamwork and strategy
are involved in lots of games,and that really draws me in and provides me with a new and
exciting situations each time I play. Because of the huge impact technology has played in my life,
