fantastic argument; however the government probably won t change their drinking

obviously over the age of 21. She has many strong points and can tell she has done a

How I Changed My Life Forever
The one choice that changed my life forever was that our family emigrated from
Hong Kong to Canada in 1974. I was only seven years old. My Chinese name is Sau
Han and this is my immigration history. My family came to Canada for a job offer
but mainly it was for a better life. I had to leave behind many loving familymembers
in Hong Kong. We also left behind our old lives, furniture, car, apartment, and
friends. Our journey began when we hopped on a JAL (Japan airlines) jumbo jet
on a sixteen hour flight to Vancouver, British Columbia with a brief stop over in
Tokyo, Japan. Everything looked foreign to us on our arrival. What we hoped in
the future was to be able to learn English, to adapt to our foreign surroundings, to
settle down in our new home, and to go back to visit our friends and relatives in
Hong Kong. These challenges are just the first of many obstacles to be faced. This
immigration was not just a new beginning for my family but also a window of
opportunity for the next generation. We had an intriguing story of how we
immigrated to Canada. My family consisted of myself, my mom and dad, my older
brother, Chi Hung, my older sister, Sau Seng, and my younger brother, Chi Wai. We

life is determined by environment, chance, and heredity. They also believe that free
will is an illusion and that people should endure their suffering with quiet dignity.
Lastly, Naturalists believe survival of the fittest and natural selection govern people
as well as nature, and people resort to the animal during a crisis. Crane uses literary
elements to create Naturalist themes in A Mystery of Heroism and An Episode of
War. Although both of the stories have Naturalist themes, Crane uses different
elements to create them. In Crane s A Mystery of Heroism he uses literary elements
to create Naturalist themes. One main belief of Naturalists is that someone s life is
determined by environment, chance, and heredity. Crane uses the setting and
characters to create this theme. In the story it says, Too, he wondered why he did not
feel some keen agony of fear cutting his sense like a knife. This quote shows that the
main characteris not afraid. The setting of the war is one of the reasons he does not
feel fear. He has probably been in a more fearful situation since he has been in the
war. If he had not been a soldier and been in this setting he would be more fearful.
