An Example Of A Hardware
An example of a Hardware is a computer, which can be cheap and expensive. However, it is
quicker to do things and it saves time and there are more advantages because the staff can do the
tasks online previously stated as, well, as save the work and continue to do the work the next day
and ensure that the work isn t lost by saving it on the computer and memory stick. Although, if it
was handwritten it would be time consuming and it could be easily lost. The prices can vary, but
the prices of a computer is up to ВЈ600 and ВЈ1,200. However, there will be discounts for
businesses mainly and the issue will be solved.
Softwares such as Adobe and Microsoft normally cost ВЈ400 a year altogether, but this means that
all the users will have access, which is worth it normally it would cost an individual ВЈ400.
Meeting the user needs would mean assess the user s skills and experience, and determine the user

The Opportunities and Obstacles of the voter registration laws
States that have implemented voter registration laws claim that those laws are put into place to
prevent voter fraud and safeguard the voting system (Underhill, 2015).
Conversely, adversaries to voter registration laws, namely the civil rights movement, contest that
voter registration laws impinge on the rights of voting citizens (Underhill, 2015). Furthermore,
opponents disagree with the aforementioned voting system transparency but actually overpowers
votes of the majority and takes away from minority voters, specifically, the Black community. This

Hennessey And Yellich Essay
The Hennessey and Yellich series by author Peter Turnbull is a police procedural that follows
Chief Inspector George Hennessey and his partner Detective Seargent Somerled Yellich.
Hennessey is a widower, whose wife died when their son Charles was a baby. The father and son
lived together in the house and garden that was designed by the wife. Charles grew up to be a
husband, father, and solicitor. Hennessey got a dog, walks to the pub, and reads military history
books. He tells his wife about his day while in the garden, and walks around the town to get places
that he needs to go. Somerled Yellich (his first name is pronounced Sorley) is married happily to
his wife Sara, and they have a son named Jeremy who has down syndrome. He is a happy man,
both at his job and when he is home. The series is a police procedural and it is set in York,
England. The series is also considered cozy as the bodies die off page.... Show more content on

George Hennessey, a Chief Inspector, is working on a case trying to find a missing middle aged
couple named Max and Amanda. They vanished with out a trace recently, leaving behind a
modest home and children that are in adulthood. Hennessey draws the initial conclusion that
there is some foul play here. He is later called out to a crime scene on a local farm where a
shallow grave is found, and in the grave are two bodies. None other then his missing couple. This
is the beginning of things for Detective Inspector Hennessey and the rest of the police squad. One
thing that Hennessey knows for sure is that they were not killed because of a vast sum of money
they had lost a quite sizable chunk of change recently. They were both engaged in affairs that
neither one knew about. What is odd too, is how the son is acting throughout the investigation, and
the cherry on top of the whole thing is that a family secret

The Process Of Making And Changing Laws Varies Throughout...
Mid Term #2 Prompt 1
The process of making and changing laws varies throughout regions, cultures and religions. This
trend applies to all religions, no matter how similar they may appear. Take for example,
Catholicism and Judaism; religions that share common traits in beliefs, customs and law. These
similarities may lead people to believe their legal process of legal change is also cognate, but that
is not the case. Although their process of legal change may appear as similar, the key differences
are highlighted through the legislators and the necessity of deriving law from an authoritative text.
The factors that affect these differences relate to the structure of the organization, the governing
body, and the purpose behind the creation of religious law in each system. Judaism s and
Catholicism s legal process are alike in many different ways. For example, although rabbinic
responsa and papal decretals seem completely different in definition, they share common
characteristics. Responsa is defined as the answers to questions submitted by someone having
communal authority to someone having greater communal authority ( Law and religion in Judaism ,
46) The community asks questions regarding law, and the rabbis, an authoritative source, reply
with a binding answer. On the other hand, papal decretals are laws and rules issued by the pope.
The denotation of these processes sound completely different, but their similarity lies in the nature
of papal decretals. The majority of

World War I Gained Its Label
World War I was, simply put, a war like no other. It was the first total war the world had
experienced and it revolutionized our idea of war and what it entailed. World War I eventually
coined the nickname the war to end all wars ; which we now find to be ironic because there have
been plenty of wars since. At the time, however, it was believed that society would be rebirthed
by the war and it would be changed to a more perfect form. There would be no sense in war
anymore because humanity would finally be ideal. Yet when we examine the casualties and
destruction post war, they add up to a horrific amount. During this era, it seemed nearly impossible
for war to continue, in consideration to the welfare of humanity. Still though, it only... Show more

Sometimes, terrible things have to happen so necessary changes can take place. In contrast to
President Wilson s more rational ideals, Winston Churchill, an allied leader, argued this. He
claimed that, We are not meant to find peace in this world, and that war often brought progress and
necessary revolutions for the betterment of society. Some believed it would erase the class systems
and return the mannerly values of society. Others believed it would overthrow the oppressing sense
of dictatorship and democracy would prevail. Colonials believed that maybe the Europeans would
finally grant them independence.
Although war brings death and destruction, the world could be worse without it. Sometimes
there s a lot to lose but even more to gain. Even Emile Zola, a person notorious for being a leftist,
found that, it is only the warlike nations that have prospered. A nation dies as soon as it disarms.
War is the school of discipline, sacrifice, and courage. The Great War could not be the war to end
all wars because history repeats itself. Just as World War Iwas seemingly bound to happen, so is
every other war. An event leads to another event, which will eventually lead to war. Life seems to
be a never ending cycle of major historical events and their repercussions. Nothing would ever end
war because the world doesn t know how to function without it.
World War I presented a war that was more industrial than those that had preceded it. It

How Did Apollo 11 Changed The Way Americans Saw The World
The Top 5 Events In American History
5. Apollo 11 Apollo 11 changed the way Americans saw the world, and the way the world saw
Americans. The world had been competing, the biggest battle being between Russia and the United
States. The whole world was aware of the space race. The landing on the moon was not just
important to America. It was important to all of mankind. Neil Armstrong and the other crew
members were shot into fame overnight, with Neil Armstrong being the first man on the moon. The
Apollo 11 mission will never be forgotten by the American people.
4. The Assassination Of John F. Kennedy John F. Kennedy was a different breed of president.
He was young and charming, and he seemed more fit for being a movie star rather than
president. He had been on a very important re election campaign, and he was doing very well. He
was adored by so much of the American population. While on this campaign he stopped in
Dallas, Texas. While riding in his motorcade surrounded by secret service agents, he was shot
fatally in the head by a veteran with a lot of mental issues. The assassin s name was Lee Harvey
Oswald. America s pride and morale was in pieces, as vice president Lyndon B. Johnson was
sworn in as the 36th president of the United States. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

How The Corset Evolved From A Staple Of The British...
¬¬¬¬¬The fall and rise of the corset: From Queen Victoria to Jean Paul Gaultier. In this
essay I want to examine how the corset evolved from a staple of the British feminine wardrobe of
the Nineteenth Century into a symbol of an outmoded tradition only to later return as a statement
of female liberation. I am going to look at different aspects of this development including
technological advances, economic facts, external events, particularly the First World War and
changes in social, political and aesthetic attitudes. I will also look briefly at the role of Chanel on
the silhouette and how this impacted on the corset: focusing on the trend to towards opulent
androgyny in the 1920 s. Finally I will examine the resurgence of the corset... Show more content

Laces usually fastened corsets at the back and were drawn tightly to alter the silhouette. The
product was a wasp waist effect, or as some have expressed, the hour glass figure .
The corset was of course associated with high society and was an important signifier of social
class. For example in the grand balls that often featured in Victorian novels, a restrictive corset was
part of the essential uniform Becky Sharpe in Vanity Fair for example. It also became associated
with the dandy aesthetic of the late Nineteenth Century (Oscar Wilde being an example) when it
was worn by men.
In the latter part of the Victorian era there were significant developments signaling the decline of
the corset. The way garments were produced is perhaps the key factor in the move away from
the corset. In 1839, a Frenchman by the name of Jean Werly patented a loom for the production
of women s corsets. This type of corset was popular until 1890, when machine made corsets
gained popularity. The development of the sewing machine in the early 1850 s gradually led to
mass production, manufacturers could produce corsets in far greater numbers and increase the
variety of designs available to women of all classes. These advances finally led the way to new
designs in underwear in keeping with the changes to the fashions and silhouettes of the early
Twentieth Century.

Porter s Five Forces Of The Radio Industry Essay
Generally speaking, by analyzing Porter s five forces of radio station industry in New Zealand, we
could get the conclusion that four of those five forces have negative influences on the industry,
namely the intensity of rivalry, the threat of substitutes, the bargaining power of buyers, and the
bargaining power of suppliers. Only the threat of new entrants has positive influence. Fortunately,
ICTs are broadly used in converting the negatives to positives among the radio station industry.
And it actually does very well. The below facts are the analysis of Porter s five forces and ICTs
being implicated in radio station industry.

However, the industry confronts with the hugely powerful threats from many different kinds of
communication media in New Zealand, including television, radio, newspapers , magazines, films
and websites, and etc. Adequate substitutes are available which increase competition in the radio
industry. Moreover, Each method has its own pros and cons. For example, Sky TV impresses the
audience both with sound and images. Unfortunately, it is unavailable for advertising because
audiences pay for the programs. Then what can we do to make the radio outstanding?
To be honest, radio cannot take place of any of these substitutes. Nevertheless, radio could make
use of them by ICTs. Hence, multiple listening platforms such as the internet and digital TV are
established. And these new platforms have assisted radio to escalating opportunities for brands to
get in touch with listeners in progressively more innovative ways. Furthermore, radio is well
positioned to work alongside the emerging platforms with its ability to co exist and complement
developing technologies. These new platforms benefit the traditional on air broadcast by adding
increased touch points.
According to the enormous benefits that the multiple listening platforms bring about, the situation
of radio turns out to be constructive.
The Bargaining Power of Buyers
As a single solution of advertising, radio does not prior to others, such as TV and internet.

Examples Of The Bible Reference About Dinah
1a. Bible Reference about Dinah s Character
The Bible introduces Dinah as the daughter of Jacob from Leah; Gen. 30:21 And afterwards she
bare a daughter, and called her name Dinah. The remainder of the book of Genesis gives some
detail that Dinah was bare in Padanaram, she was the seventh children from Leah and with her other
brother (Gen. 46:15). The Bible doesn t describe the appearance, the attitude, even the character of
Dinah. We can see a little bit character of Dinah in one occasion when Jacob and family stay some
time in the Shechem (Gen. 34:1 31).
1b. What I have learnt from Dinah s Character
A.Curiosity or An Adventureous
Genesis 34:1 And Dinah the daughter of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob, went out to see the
daughters of the land. This was shown that Dinah has the curiosity inside her heart. Some of the

The World Acceptance
If Jacob did not stay in that city, perhaps the terrible thing will not happen to Dinah. Since Dinah
also still live in the flesh, she wanted the world acceptance. She dresses the same kind of the city
girls at that place, which Josephus relates that she went to attend a festival at Shechem. Even the
Bible didn t mention how Dinah dressed herself, we can imagine how she wanted same with the
dressing of city girl which look beautiful. Edith Deen imagine Dinah ... In graceful tunic style
dress of a soft pastel colour, in the tones of the early flowers. Perhaps she was also wearing a veil
that fell softly across her face...
This world promises the good thing about life in this earth, the popularity, many friends, the riches.
But follow the world, is followed into the destruction of life. As Dinah wore the same dressing as
the Sheckem city girls; she got the consequence that Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, the
prince of the country, saw her, he took her, and lay with her, and defiled her (Gen. 34:2). He
thought she was a common harlot.

Essay On Cement Industry
Compiled by: Mirza Rohail B
http://economicpakistan.wordpress.com/2008/02/12/cement industry/
History Introduction
Growth of cement industry is rightly considered a barometer for economic activity. In 1947,
Pakistan had inherited 4 cement plants with a total capacity of 0.5 million tons. Some expansion
took place in 1956 66 but could not keep pace with the economic development and the country had
to resort to imports of cement in 1976 77 and continued to do so till 1994 95. The industry was
privatized in 1990 which led to setting up of new plants. Although an oligopoly market, there exists
fierce competition between members of the cartel today.
The industry comprises of 29 firms (19 units in the north and 10 units in the south), ... Show more

However, this growth is magnified, as FY2007 08 was an abnormally low profit period for the
sector.
Moreover, the performance is skewed towards large players with export potential as profitable
companies in both years posted increase of just 109 percent, said analyst at JS Research Atif Zafar.
He said that cumulative profitability of companies in FY09 stood at Rs 6.2 billion or $78.2
million as compared to Rs 386 million or $6.2 million depicting a massive growth of 1,492 percent.
Companies with profits in both the years posted 109 percent earnings improvement.
Though total dispatches were down 2 percent, net sales grew by 55 percent to Rs 101.4 billion
or $1.3 billion on the back of higher net retention prices (up 59 percent) and improved export
based revenues. Cost of sales/tonne also rose by 33 percent on yearly basis amid higher realised
coal prices and inflationary pressures, the analyst maintained.
Production Capacity
In Pakistan, there are 29 cement manufacturers that are playing a vital role in the building up the
country s economy and contribution towards growth and prosperity. After 2002 3, most of the
cement manufacturers expanded their operations, and increased production. This sector has
invested about $1.5 billion in capacity expansion over the last six years.
The operating capacity of cement in 1991 was 7 million tons, which increased to become 18
million tons by 2005 06 and by end of 2007 rose to above 37 million

Teenage girls can avoid pregnancyat a young age, they can lessen their menstrual cramps, and

As this generation goes on, a lot of foods are being processed with more and more hormones
every time. This causes little girls at the age of ten or eleven to start getting their menstrual
cycle due to all the hormones in the variety of foods. The young, undeveloped girls have so
many hormones that they result in an irregular menstrual cycle. As many people know, it is bad
for a girl s menstrual cycle to get delayed, within a period of a long time, because it can cause
various complications. The birth control pill will help regulate the majority of any irregular
menstrual cycles. Sometimes the girls do not want to talk to their doctor about the circumstances
because some are too young to even imagine what is coming their way. Girls will prefer to
conversate with their parents and then go to a pharmacy right away to get the pill. Even though,
the pill will not be effective immediately by the time their next cycle comes around the pill would
have regulated their menstrual cycle. Having over the counter birth pills is a faster and more
effective way instead of making an appointment and having to wait impatiently just for a
prescription. Girls at that age are not usually sexually active however there should be no chance so

attributes of the players.
Both sporting events last sixty minutes but differ in the amount of time each player spends on

In the poem, Beowulf, the main character acknowledges God as his guardian. Beowulf in the
poem recalls fighting with Grendel s mother, he notes, The flight would have been straightway if

The defeat of Grendal s mother and the conquering of her land, gave Beowulf another challenge,
the dragon. Beowulf mission ahead was to face the dragon. On page 64 it states: By this there
went inside a certain man[ who made his way near to the heathen hoard; his hand took a cup,
large, a shining treasure. The dragon did not afterwards conceal it though in his sleep he was
tricked by the craft of the thief. The people discovered the neighboring folk that he was swollen
with rage (Beowulf 64). The quote showed a man who lived in the village stealing a golden cup
with gold coins in it from the dragon. The dragon discovered the cup was stolen and terrorized
and killed the people within the city. Beowulf aware he was an older man knew there was a
possibility that he could die in battle. He was also aware he had to defend his city from the
dragon. The dragon however, was able to get the upper hand, and burned down Beowulf s house.
Beowulf at this point did not hesitation to challenge the dragon. Beowulf entered into battle

Car Audio History
There are many jobs that involve electrical circuits, such as: a car audio technician, an
electrician, and an instrumentation technician. Though these jobs may be different, they all
have one common thing between them: they all involve electrical circuits. Let s first talk about
a car audio technician. Car audio has come a long way since the first commercial radio, the
Model 5T71, released in 1930. Car audio has evolved from just the basic AM receiver with a
speaker, to a more complex system. Radios today have multiple ways of listening to music, such
as: the radio, itself, CD players, iPods, USB flash drives, SD cards, and Bluetooth. Every car
audio system has three basics parts to it: the head unit (the radio), an amplifier, and the speakers.
When the head unit first came out the only source for audio was AM radio. Many years later,
FM radio, 8 track, and cassettes came out. Many head units today come stock with CD players
and FM radio. Some factory head units can even receive satellite radio. Many cars now come with
Bluetooth, navigation, and various ports for connecting a music player, such as an aux port and
USB port. Most head units offer the ability to adjust the tone of the audio coming out of the... Show

The amplifier makes the sounds coming from the speakers stronger and clearer. The speakers
are what the audio comes through. There are three different types of speakers one can have in
their car audio setup. First, there are the tweeters. The tweeters produce the higher frequency
sounds that the mids and lows can t. Second, there are the mids. The mids produce the middle
ranged frequencies, and lastly, the subwoofer (lows). The subwoofer can produce audio as low as
20 hertz. The way all of these components works is that the amplifier is connected to the car
battery, which provides power, the amplifier is also connected to the radio, which sends a signal to
the amp, telling the speakers what type of audio to

Romeo And Juliet Sleeping Potion Essay
Briefly before drinking the sleeping potion, Juliet wishes for her mother and the Nurse to come
back because she seeks their counsel, which is inferred from the line I ll call them back again to
comfort me (IV. iii. 17). Her uneasiness is mimicked by the song Wake Me Up by Avicii. Juliet
is hoping her mother can offer her comfort, or ...wake me up when it s all over/ When I m wiser
and I m older . At this moment in the play, Juliet is unsure about the future, or, in other words, she
can t tell where the journey will end . All Juliet knows is where to start it, which is by drinking
the friar s sleeping potion. If Juliet had called her mother back, Juliet might tell her mother that All

The trouble in their relationship can be represented by the line You tell me that you need me/ Then
you go and cut me down, . Indeed, this is how Lady Capulet treats her daughter. Lady Capulet will
call for Juliet, needing her attention, and she will proceed to cut Juliet down, which she
accomplishes through various fashions, including by telling her the news of her marriage to Paris
and refusing to talk to her. Another way she cut Juliet down is by not truly seeming to care
about her feelings. Later in the play, as Lady Capulet thinks that Juliet is dead, she is immensely
remorseful and seemingly sorry, saying O me, O me! My child, my only life!/ Revive, look up,
or I will die with thee! (IV. v. 19 20). This resembles the line You tell me that you re sorry .
Although Juliet is asleep, she doesn t care much for what her mother thinks anymore, which can
be concluded from the fact that she didn t inform her mother of the plan or attempt to talk
through their disagreements. If Juliet were awake, one would imagine she would tell her mother
That it s too late to apologize . Juliet has gone through with the friar s plot, and she can t return to
her mother now. The message of Apologize is, as the chorus states, That it s too late to apologize ,
and in Juliet and Lady Capulet s relationship, it is exactly

Eowyn s Contribution To My Identity
This unit also ties in with Eowyn s heroic opposal to societal norms for females on Middle Earth.
Eowyn s character and identity is relegated by the community and how the race of Men expect
women to act. Although she understands that she is supposed to be demure and stay among other
women, she is still given some power by the community. During both the encounter with the wargs,
wolves of Isengard, and during the Battle of the Hornburg at Helm s Deep, Eowyn was given
power to lead the citizens, particularly women, of Rohan by two distinct men in power. She
eventually goes into battle to help Gondor as her desires to fight to help society are more important
than staying with the women and children to conform to society s beliefs. The essential question in

Galadriel for a single piece three times, but Galadriel had refused each time (refer to The

The Relationship Between Antony And Cleopatra
Shelia Ager s article, Marriage or mirage? The Phantom Wedding of Cleopatra and Antony, looks
to discuss any evidence for a wedding between Cleopatra VII and Marc Antony and conclude
whether this event really happened or if it is a myth. Cleopatra and Marc Antony famously had an
affair, resulting in children. They lived and planned with one another, presenting themselves as a
couple. They attempted to conquer land with one another, establishing themselves and their
children as the rulers of multiple kingdoms. However, there are disputes over whether a legal
marriageor even a wedding occurred between them. There are no explicit records from ancient
authors about a marriage, and with two highly public figures records should exist. Ager makes...

The Romans had laws against foreign marriages and Cleopatra was nearly the epitome of
everything non Roman. Antony and Octavian had a complicated relationship, ending in
Octavian defeating both him and Cleopatra. Antony knew that marrying Cleopatra before 32 BC
was dangerous, as his wife, Octavia, was Octavian s sister. Having two wives was illegal, but
also abandoning a member of Octavian s family, would have broken the relationship much
quicker. There is no doubt about a relationship between Antony and Cleopatra; they had children
together and presented themselves alongside one another. The coinage of the two can be seen as
them presenting their marriage. On the other hand, it could simply mean that they had a political
relationship more than a romantic relationship. For some, that would mean that they needed to
marry each other. However, for the power that each person held, a marriage would not have been
so heavily enforced. For people of the upper class, some rules dictated by society did not always
apply to them. Modern and ancient ideals about marriage does not translate to every situation
flawlessly. Ager s main point is that there is no hard evidence for a marriage or a wedding,

Measure Growth During American War History And Musicality...
Chapter Four: Data Analysis and Findings The purpose of the study was to measure growth in
American war history and musicality while learning repertoire from various war periods,
identifying the major wars of the United States with dates, and describing the origins of Veteran s
Day. Ten different sub questions and research instruments were used to measure growth during the
process of preparing for the Veterans Day Concert. Each instrument was inserted into Google
Forms and delivered to each student via Google Classroom. Pre Tests were given to students during
the third week of school. Post tests were given to students two weeks prior to the final performance.
Scores may have been effected by possible guessing or misspelled words in the students written
responses. The data is reflective of the hypothesis in the fact that sixth grade students scored low
and eighth grade students scored higher on the pretests. However, on certain pretests, the seventh
grade students actually scored higher than some eighth grade students. Data Analysis Question 1:
Can students demonstrate music growth through naming letter names of notes written on the staff
with treble and bass clefs from F2 to G5? The research instrument entitled Grand Staff required
students to generate letter names of notes placed on the staff with treble and bass clefs. Seventh
and eighth grade students would have prior knowledge of note letter names from previous years in

The Similarities Between Rats And Mice
Though, very similar in appearance, mice are very different from rats. Mice are equivalent to
sparrows in size, generally 12 to 20 cm long. They have a thin tail and a triangular muzzle with
long whiskers. Mice weigh between 12 and 30 gms in general and are found in different species
such as house mice, spiny mice, deer mice, and dormice. You can see mice in brown, grey or white
color. With thin, hairy tails, mice can be found all over the world.
Most of the times, mice tend to live not more than one year. However, under special circumstances
such as in detention, they can survive for as long as six years.
Rat is a medium sized to large rodent that has a long, thin tail. Usually, many different rodent
species are referred to as rats, be it cotton rats, or black rats, or wood rats, or kangaroo rats, or pack
rats. In fact, a lot of other rat species are generally called rats only, even though they may have no

How White Tailed Deer Affect Native And Invasive Plant...
How White tailed Deer Effect Native and Invasive Plant Species Populations in the Eastern United
States.
Introduction
Whitetail deer have come to be known as a keystone species, species known for affecting other
organisms in an ecosystem. Deer are known as a keystone species in forest habitats such as in the
Eastern United States because they are capable of destroying potential forest habitat of other
organisms (McShea and Rappole, 1992). For example, deer have a negative impact on forest
ecosystems by trampling and over browsing over vegetation, without creating any habitat for other
native species. Throughout the eastern United States, the abundance of white tailed deer
(Odocoileus virginianus) has increased dramatically over the last century (Taggart and Long,
2015). Population increases could be due to increased habitat fragmentation from land
development, reduced predators and/or hunting pressure. Individual deer ranges varied during
seasonal times, deer movements are usually greatest during the peak breeding months from late
fall through winter (Williams et. al, 2012). Regardless of the cause, high deer densities can have
significant effects on plant communities such as plant decay and/or even death. Deer consume a
large amounts of plant biomass (leaves, buds, flowers and fruits) and directly reduce the growth,
reproduction, and survival of herbaceous and woody plant species (Shen et. al, 2016). The impacts
of white tailed deer on forests along the Eastern United

Identifying Covalent, Ionic And Hydrogen Bonds
After completing the lab, we will be able to identify covalent, ionic, and hydrogen bonds.
Hydrogen bonds are the weakest between all the three types of bonds we will be observing and it
occurs between hydrogen and oxygen atom or nitrogen atom; hydrogen bonds are a type of dipole
dipole bond. A dipole dipole interaction occurs because of polar molecules. We should know that
the bond between hydrogen and oxygenin a water molecule is covalent. Another example, of
covalent bond is the bond between all the atoms that compose ethane. Another objective that we
will observe is solubility, the lab mentions. An example, of an ionic bond is NaCl, this is an ionic

A water molecule is able to interact with up to four other water molecules to create a tetrahedral.
The second part of the lab, we will be observing cohesion and adhesion theories. Cohesion is
when water molecules stick to each other and adhesion is the occurrence of water molecules
sticking to other molecules. To observe adhesion and cohesion, we will pipette a drop of water
on a piece of parafilm; we will be looking for if they water will be stuck together or did it spread
apart, we will be explaining our observations. We will then, repeat the same experiment, however
instead of parafilm we will use a glass slide; we will try to compare cohesion between the water

Descriptive Essay About Animals
I was sure that when I first went to the fair, that showing animals was going to be my passion for
the next ten years. It was simple, going to the fair has always been something that I have always
loved, the people, the animals, and the food of course. Then something happened and fair started to
get even more interesting for me. In 2007 I started showing animals at the Clark County Fair, the
first year I started out with a rabbit and a turkey. I always knew I wanted to show animals I loved
being around them, helping with animals any chance I could get, so I knew that when it was
my turn I was going to rock it. I was so excited when I got to go see my turkey and when my
rabbits got picked up and brought to my house. I finally had animals that were mine, it was time to
start preparing them for fair. I would go out every day and change their water, give them feed, and

History And Progression Of Untreated Syphilis
Approximately 400 of the men had syphilis and 200 did not at the start of the study. The purpose
of the study was to record the history and progression of untreated syphilis, which at the time had
no treatment. However, later in 1947 when a treatment (penicillin) was found and proven effective
against syphilis, the men were never told nor given the medication. It was withheld from them. As
a result, many of the participants, their wives, children and others had been infected and untreated.
As news of the study spread, it led to public outrage and an advisory panel was created. (Brandt,

field of study dilemmas, the researchers integrity, social and economic issues, physical and

Ethical dilemmas that can arise under fields of study are contentious topics such as embryo
research and fetal tissue research (National Institute of Health, 2008). Studies such as this could
be deemed not ethically acceptable research. Researchers integrity can pose problems when

The Summer Olympic Games is the leading international sporting event in which thousands of
athletes from around the world participate in a variety of competitions. According to existing
historical manuscripts, the first ancient Olympic Games were celebrated in 776 BC in Olympia.
They were dedicated to the Greek god Zeus and took place in the same place every four years.
This four year period became known as an Olympiad (International Olympic Committee, 2012). The
first modern games were held in Athens, Greece in 1896 with nine sports contested. The 2016
games will consist of 28 sports. Although the actual event may last for only a few weeks, the
preparations commence up to a decade beforehand and may entail considerable investment
expenditures that can have longer term economic significance.
In 2016, the Olympics will be held in Rio De Janeiro. When choosing the next country to host the

South America. Additionally, the International Olympic Committee understood what the power of

The research is a technique that includes discovery, study, testing hypothesis, gathering information

The researchers during the exploration, investigation or research usually use different kinds of

surveys, leading observations in order to receive more or less numerical data and information. The
common point for quantitative method is an employment of different devices and instruments for
the measurement process and data collection . The planning process is supposed to be the most
time consuming activity but the analysis stage is regarded as a time saving activity .
The qualitative research is a totally subjective rather than previous method with lots of texts along

I Want To Vote When You Vote
If you are voting today I want you to take into account of what is best for the United States and
the people who call it home . Sadly, everything can t always be black or white but think of what
your candidate represents don t just depend upon televised media to make your decision
research what each presidential nominee stands for and how they want to change our country. I
have never been a very political person and hardly ever communicate my opinion on Facebook
because it is a waste of time but hopefully, this takes hold with some of you. My goal is not to
start a war of words or hurt anyone s feelings but to tell you how important your choice is. I should
not have to say this but our country does not belong to the white demographic this is

The Education System Of The Republic
Education is a transfer of knowledge from one generation to another. Some societies have oral
traditions while others transfer the knowledge by written works. In Plato s Republic, for Socrates
the education system is structured in two major parts: the education of the mind and character and
the physical training. For Socrates, truth, justice, and goodness are the main principles for a utopic
society. Indeed, for him the truth is universal and therefore in order to have a perfect utopic society
it community should be dedicated and based on truth. In fact, in this imaginary society the
educational system is an oral transfer of knowledge, which is based on trues stories and fiction. The
Republic shows that in this imaginary society the educationis strictly control and does not portray
any of the three principles of a utopic society. The educational system of The republic demonstrates
that nothing is utopic in this imaginary society. The education of this society is controlled and
people could only have one set of mind. Everyone is different and therefore should have the right of
choosing when, how and what they want to study. The varieties of educational system normally
allow this, but in this society, it is not the case. In this society, the education is supervised and
controlled: Then it seems that our first business is to supervise the production of stories, and choose
only those we think suitable, and reject the rest (Plato377 b). The education goes from one

Furthermore and as explained in point 1 above, children as ultimate consumers of LEGO
products were maturing earlier leaving no choice to LEGO but to improve/upgrade its products
and services offerings * The power of suppliers: although most toys were produced in China,
LEGO had its production in high cost countries leading to high procurement costs. * Competitive
rivalry: LEGO was facing strong competition from much bigger companies present in the local
market such as Mattel and Hasbro 3. What were the alternative strategies facing the LEGO Group
in 2004? Why do you think the LEGO Group followed the course that they did? Despite the new
strategy (1995 98), LEGO experienced its first ever deficit in 1998. The decline was mainly due to
major fluctuations including the rapidly changing environment. In 2004, LEGO faced the following
alternative strategies: * Moving into the digital gaming: with the strong competition from digital

The Book Of Genesis
The book of Genesis which directly translates to origin narrates the story of creation. In general,
Genesis 1 3 is an account of how God created the world, human beings, plants and animals, and
the commitment of the first sin. Unlike Malakas and Maganda who sprang from the kawayan at
the same time, a hierarchy of genders can be found in Genesis. The second chapter of the book
tells us that man was created first and was given the primary role to take care of Gods creation
associated with a sense of authority. The woman was created after and out of man himself to fulfill
the role of being the man s helper or companion and thus it can be inferred in this account alone that
the woman is subjected to a secondary and subordinate position.
However, on a deeper level of understanding, the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
While the Creation, on the other hand, is entitled to bring holiness towards its Creator that
highlights the importance of Sabbath on the seventh day when God decided to rest. Human beings
embody the relationship of God and Creation through the act of stewardship. The whole
relationship among God, Human Beings, and the Creation exemplify the central idea of Genesis
which is Shalom . Shalom is defined as peace in the Old Testament but it also denotes wholeness or
harmony . Every part of God s creation is distinct but interconnected, working and existing in
accordance with God s intention. Shalom summarizes the whole picture depicted in the first two
chapters of Genesis, describing the connections among God, human beings, and the rest of His
creation; the role of humans is to preserve Shalom that transcends beyond stewardship.

  • 5. The Process Of Making And Changing Laws Varies Throughout... Mid Term #2 Prompt 1 The process of making and changing laws varies throughout regions, cultures and religions. This trend applies to all religions, no matter how similar they may appear. Take for example, Catholicism and Judaism; religions that share common traits in beliefs, customs and law. These similarities may lead people to believe their legal process of legal change is also cognate, but that is not the case. Although their process of legal change may appear as similar, the key differences are highlighted through the legislators and the necessity of deriving law from an authoritative text. The factors that affect these differences relate to the structure of the organization, the governing body, and the purpose behind the creation of religious law in each system. Judaism s and Catholicism s legal process are alike in many different ways. For example, although rabbinic responsa and papal decretals seem completely different in definition, they share common characteristics. Responsa is defined as the answers to questions submitted by someone having communal authority to someone having greater communal authority ( Law and religion in Judaism , 46) The community asks questions regarding law, and the rabbis, an authoritative source, reply with a binding answer. On the other hand, papal decretals are laws and rules issued by the pope. The denotation of these processes sound completely different, but their similarity lies in the nature of papal decretals. World War I eventually coined the nickname the war to end all wars ; which we now find to be ironic because there have been plenty of wars since. At the time, however, it was believed that society would be rebirthed by the war and it would be changed to a more perfect form. There would be no sense in war anymore because humanity would finally be ideal. Yet when we examine the casualties and destruction post war, they add up to a horrific amount. During this era, it seemed nearly impossible for war to continue, in consideration to the welfare of humanity. Still though, it only... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Sometimes, terrible things have to happen so necessary changes can take place. In contrast to President Wilson s more rational ideals, Winston Churchill, an allied leader, argued this. He claimed that, We are not meant to find peace in this world, and that war often brought progress and necessary revolutions for the betterment of society. Some believed it would erase the class systems and return the mannerly values of society. Others believed it would overthrow the oppressing sense of dictatorship and democracy would prevail. Colonials believed that maybe the Europeans would finally grant them independence. Although war brings death and destruction, the world could be worse without it. Sometimes there s a lot to lose but even more to gain. Even Emile Zola, a person notorious for being a leftist, found that, it is only the warlike nations that have prospered. A nation dies as soon as it disarms. War is the school of discipline, sacrifice, and courage. The Great War could not be the war to end all wars because history repeats itself. Just as World War Iwas seemingly bound to happen, so is every other war. An event leads to another event, which will eventually lead to war. In this essay I want to examine how the corset evolved from a staple of the British feminine wardrobe of the Nineteenth Century into a symbol of an outmoded tradition only to later return as a statement of female liberation. I am going to look at different aspects of this development including technological advances, economic facts, external events, particularly the First World War and changes in social, political and aesthetic attitudes. I will also look briefly at the role of Chanel on the silhouette and how this impacted on the corset: focusing on the trend to towards opulent androgyny in the 1920 s. Finally I will examine the resurgence of the corset... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Laces usually fastened corsets at the back and were drawn tightly to alter the silhouette. The product was a wasp waist effect, or as some have expressed, the hour glass figure . The corset was of course associated with high society and was an important signifier of social class. For example in the grand balls that often featured in Victorian novels, a restrictive corset was part of the essential uniform Becky Sharpe in Vanity Fair for example. It also became associated with the dandy aesthetic of the late Nineteenth Century (Oscar Wilde being an example) when it was worn by men. In the latter part of the Victorian era there were significant developments signaling the decline of the corset. The way garments were produced is perhaps the key factor in the move away from the corset. In 1839, a Frenchman by the name of Jean Werly patented a loom for the production of women s corsets. This type of corset was popular until 1890, when machine made corsets gained popularity. The development of the sewing machine in the early 1850 s gradually led to mass production, manufacturers could produce corsets in far greater numbers and increase the variety of designs available to women of all classes. These advances finally led the way to new designs in underwear in keeping with the changes to the fashions and silhouettes of the early Twentieth Century. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The coinage of the two can be seen as them presenting their marriage. On the other hand, it could simply mean that they had a political relationship more than a romantic relationship. For some, that would mean that they needed to marry each other. However, for the power that each person held, a marriage would not have been so heavily enforced. For people of the upper class, some rules dictated by society did not always apply to them. Modern and ancient ideals about marriage does not translate to every situation flawlessly. • 23. Measure Growth During American War History And Musicality... Chapter Four: Data Analysis and Findings The purpose of the study was to measure growth in American war history and musicality while learning repertoire from various war periods, identifying the major wars of the United States with dates, and describing the origins of Veteran s Day. Ten different sub questions and research instruments were used to measure growth during the process of preparing for the Veterans Day Concert. Each instrument was inserted into Google Forms and delivered to each student via Google Classroom. Pre Tests were given to students during the third week of school. Post tests were given to students two weeks prior to the final performance. Scores may have been effected by possible guessing or misspelled words in the students written responses. The data is reflective of the hypothesis in the fact that sixth grade students scored low and eighth grade students scored higher on the pretests. However, on certain pretests, the seventh grade students actually scored higher than some eighth grade students. Data Analysis Question 1: Can students demonstrate music growth through naming letter names of notes written on the staff with treble and bass clefs from F2 to G5? The research instrument entitled Grand Staff required students to generate letter names of notes placed on the staff with treble and bass clefs. • 28. How White Tailed Deer Affect Native And Invasive Plant... How White tailed Deer Effect Native and Invasive Plant Species Populations in the Eastern United States. Introduction Whitetail deer have come to be known as a keystone species, species known for affecting other organisms in an ecosystem. Deer are known as a keystone species in forest habitats such as in the Eastern United States because they are capable of destroying potential forest habitat of other organisms (McShea and Rappole, 1992). For example, deer have a negative impact on forest ecosystems by trampling and over browsing over vegetation, without creating any habitat for other native species. Throughout the eastern United States, the abundance of white tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus) has increased dramatically over the last century (Taggart and Long, 2015). Population increases could be due to increased habitat fragmentation from land development, reduced predators and/or hunting pressure. Individual deer ranges varied during seasonal times, deer movements are usually greatest during the peak breeding months from late fall through winter (Williams et. al, 2012). Regardless of the cause, high deer densities can have significant effects on plant communities such as plant decay and/or even death. Deer consume a large amounts of plant biomass (leaves, buds, flowers and fruits) and directly reduce the growth, reproduction, and survival of herbaceous and woody plant species (Shen et. al, 2016). Some societies have oral traditions while others transfer the knowledge by written works. In Plato s Republic, for Socrates the education system is structured in two major parts: the education of the mind and character and the physical training. For Socrates, truth, justice, and goodness are the main principles for a utopic society. Indeed, for him the truth is universal and therefore in order to have a perfect utopic society it community should be dedicated and based on truth. In fact, in this imaginary society the educational system is an oral transfer of knowledge, which is based on trues stories and fiction. The Republic shows that in this imaginary society the educationis strictly control and does not portray any of the three principles of a utopic society.
