Digital natives are people who have grown up in a world surrounded by digital technology and media. They are comfortable using blogs, social networks, and other digital tools from a young age as part of learning and sharing knowledge. For digital natives to be engaged in the classroom, teachers need to incorporate the technologies and media they are familiar with into lessons, allow opportunities for digital sharing and identity building, and facilitate learning through various styles supported by technology.
