Digital drugs (i-dosing) are files which can be
downloaded over the internet. these files are clips tones heard
through headphones and are supposed to induce mental states
similar to the action of many medications and therapies.

6. In 1839, Heinrich Wilhelm Dove raised public opinion
at that time when he stated that a man can have a state of
relaxation through two constant tones, played at slightly
different frequencies in each ear. Calling this phenomenon
"binaural beats.

7. It was first used in 1970 to treat certain psychological
conditions as mild depression in patients who refuse drug
treatment and this treatment has been through electromagnetic
fluctuations to sort doping substances mood.

10. Digital drugs are actually sounds or more specifically,
binaural beats that are thought to change brain wave patterns,
which occur when two tones with minimal difference in frequency
are played simultaneously.
Thus the digital drugs are able to control the brain waves by
synchronizing them with designated binaural beats This concept is
similar to the action of many medications and therapies.

he might choose to listen to a tone with 140Hz in one ear and
145Hz in the other. The listener's brain would perceive the
difference between the two frequencies (5Hz) and adjust the
listener's brain waves accordingly. If the listener wanted to
be energized, however, he might choose to listen to 130Hz in
one ear and 150 Hz in the other. A difference of 20Hz in
frequencies would produce a different state of mind.

14. There are several websites offering digital drug marketed as
safe and legitimate, especially there is no law criminalizing listen
to audio files in any country around the world. ether across
platforms through applications for mobile phones or through
programs that run on Windows, Mac and other audio files.

drug, such as cocaine and methamphetamine known
as "crystal meth" and many others, which drives
you to hallucination and another to relax and
another to focus and so on.

chemical harm or chemical dependency potential.
But Digital drugs are addictive in a psychological
sense, which many consider to be more difficult to break
than a physical addiction.

24. In addition the digital drugs can lead to addiction as
some individuals who start using digital drugs can
enjoy the effect so much that they are led to begin
using the actual substance form of the drug which
can cause both a physical and psychological
addiction.

26. The most common reasons to use digital
drugs are:
Relaxation
Relieve stress
Enhance sexual performance
Feel confident
Improve mood
Acquire extrasensory powers
Simulate the effects of ecstasy, LSD or cocaine

27. There are two groups:
• Some of whom say it is highly effective, if adhered
to the terms and apply the guidance rules.
•while others assert that has no effect, but on the
contrary are suffering from pain in the head and ears
after the completion of the hearing section.

31. Develop and update the law to criminalize the use of these drugs.
Block sites which promoted teams.
create a strong international cooperation to identify the sources of
these sites, and work to adjust the promoters
Communicate with families, and training to impose a kind of self-
censorship on thier sons.

32. Digital drugs’ phenomenon arrives in Lebanon
According to Lebanon’s MTV station reported
that, there have been two alleged cases of digital drug
addiction were discovered last years while about
200.000 cases recorded in Turkey fortunately no
cases recorded in Egypt up till now.

34. Up till now there is no scientific paper with conclusive
evidence that this type of drug is addictive or harmful in any
way does not exist.
