The Princeton Review has ranked the top 10 green schools based on a 'green rating' score reflecting their sustainability efforts, as well as student evaluations of environmental issues on campus. Lewis & Clark College, Green Mountain College, and the University of California Santa Barbara are among those with the highest green ratings of 99. Additional schools in the top 10 include Dickinson College and Cornell University, all evaluated on multiple sustainability-related factors.

Gave each school a "Green Rating" score (from 60 to 99) based
on their school's sustainability-related policies, practices, and
programs. More than 25 data points were weighted in the
assesment.
Combined that score with student ratings of how sustainability
issues influenced their education and life on campus;
administration and student support for environmental
awareness and conservation efforts; and the visibility and
impact of student environmental groups.
