around the world. It is a common part of our everyday lives now that
its easy to take Wi-Fi for granted,
An access point is a type of wireless hub useful for coordinating the
network traffic of multiple people. A reason why wireless broadband
routers makes home networks much easier to build is that they
function as Wi-Fi access points.

4. BLUETOOTH
• This is a standard of a short-range wireless
interconnection of mobile phones computers, and
other electronic devices

entertainment.

5. ROUTING PROTOCOLS
 A routing protocols specifies how routers communicate with each other, disseminating information that
enables them to select routes between ant two network. A routing protocols shares this information first
among immediate neighbours.

special sublayer of the network layer

6. HTTP
 The hypertext transfer protocol is an application protocol for distributed
collaborative, hypermedia information systems.
 HTTP is the foundation of data communication for the world wide web.
Hypertext is structured text that uses logical links between nodes containing
text.

7. IMAP
 This is a standard email protocol that stores email messages on a mail server, but allows the end user to
view and manipulate the massages as though they were stored locally on the end users computing
devices.
 The internet message access protocol is a mail protocol used for accessing email on a remote web server
from a local client. IMAP and POP3 are the two most commonly used internet mail protocols for
retrieving emails. Both protocols are supported by all modern email clients and web servers.

 Videoconferencing (VC) is the conduct of a videoconference (also known as
a video conference or video teleconference) by a set of telecommunication
technologies which allow two or more locations to communicate by
simultaneous two-way video and audio transmissions.
