This document discusses different types of photography including landscape, portrait, nature, and event photography. 2. Landscape
■ A landscape image is an image which is shown from a single
viewpoint and this photo normally only includes scenery,
not tending to include people or animals within the shot.
■ Peter Lik is a famous photographer from Australia, he is best
known for his nature and panoramic landscape images- he
hosted the T.V. show "From the Edge with Peter Lik" which
aired for one season on a weather channel.

Some of his work include "Pele's
Whisper," "Eternal Beauty" and the
well known "Ghost" and has sold over
$500 million worth of artwork to his
many collectors.
His images can be viewed in luxurious
hotels, estates, leading corporate
offices as well as all of his galleries in
the United States.

The top photo was taken In Disneyland Florida,
August 2014.
The second photo was taken on the 6th June 2014,
Wembley Stadium, One Direction concert.

5. Portrait
■ Portrait photography is the most popular type of photography, which can
also be called "Portraiture" and it's simply capturing a subject- mainly with
these types of photos it's of a person or a group of people, which could
portray facial features as well as facial expressions.
■ Annie Leibovitz is and American portrait photographer, one of her most
famous photographs were of John Lennon, the day he was assassinated. As
well as her work being used for two record albums by Joan Armatrading.

Annie herself began working with Vanity Fair, to
this day her photographs have been features on
the cover, some examples of these are:
Demi Moore- seen nude in the photo, showing off
her baby bump.
Sylvester Sallone- also appearing nude portraying a
pose by Rodin's "The Thinker".
Caitlyn Jenner- seen wearing a corset after publicly
revealing her identity to be a women.

8. Nature
■ Nature photography includes a wide range of images taken outdoors and it mainly
aims at displaying natural elements such as landscapes, wildlife, plants and close ups
of natural scenes.
■ Frans Lanting is a Dutch photographer specialising in wildlife photography.

■ "Event photography is the practice of photographing guests
and occurrences during an event or occasion where one may
hire a photographer for."
■ Shirlaine Forrest is a well known freelance photographer,
based in Manchester, specialising in music, fashion and
portraiture. She is known to be one of the best photographers
within the industry.
