This paper discusses the design of a folded cascode operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) using 0.18μm CMOS technology, achieving a flat gain of 47dB from 1Hz to 100kHz, noise levels from 22.5nV to 66.9fV, and average power consumption of 0.770mW at a 1.8V supply. The design emphasizes low power consumption and high performance, making it suitable for biomedical applications, such as ECG and EEG devices. Key features include differential-input, single-ended output, and enhanced slew-rate performance through additional transistors in the circuit design.
