This document discusses the decline of democracy in Pakistan. It provides definitions and principles of democracy, including free elections, rule of law, and freedom of speech. However, democracy has faced challenges in Pakistan, with the military intervening in government multiple times between 1958-1999. Corruption, a non-democratic social structure, and manipulation of elections have also weakened democracy. For democracy to strengthen in Pakistan, solutions proposed include abolishing feudalism, ensuring an independent judiciary and free elections, and educating citizens about democracy.
