• First introduced in Switzerland
• The supporter of this system favor the system
mainly on two factores
• Economical factor
• Sociological factor

• Available infrastructure could be sufficient: no
need to open separate universities on basis of
gender
• Good for under developed countries

4. Sociological factor
• Co- education provides a more realistic way of
training young people to take their places
naturally in the wider community of men and
women
• Co- education allow young people to express
their views only
• Co- education eliminates gender based
discrimination

perspectives will be explored in class
discussions
• Spirit of co- education and healthy
competition thrives in the co-educational
system
