Literature review
There is a wide recognition of branding strategy as a source of competitive advantage in domestic
markets (Biel, 1992; Calderon et al., 1997; Chaudhuri and Holbrook, 2001; de
Chernatony, 2001; Farquhar, 1994; Moore et al., 2000; Mosmans, 1996; Mosmans and van der
Vorst, 1998; Rubinstein, 1996). A brand in a holistic sense represents the synergistic effect of all
marketing efforts that instil and perpetuate an image in customers minds, and contribute to the
success of a п¬Ѓrm by creating stronger cash п¬‚ows and higher values for shareholders as
demonstrated by Yovovich (1988).
In addition to this holistic view of branding, a brand can be used as a corporate strategic tool to
enhance a п¬Ѓrm s performance (Mosmans, 1996; Mosmans and van der
Vorst, 1998). Some argue that a brand can be placed as the focal point of a п¬Ѓrm so that brand
issues can be coordinated and given higher priority (Capon et al., 2001; Urde,
1994, 1999). This approach of brand orientation extends the resource based theory of marketing
strategy, in terms of how brands are created, developed, maintained, and protected, and can result in
enhanced performance of п¬Ѓrms. Broadening the brand spectrum means that branding goes
beyond marketing communications and should be regarded as an integrated business approach
(Rubinstein, 1996). Firms must manage the various aspects of a brand and tie it to the total

The data obtained from this clinical case show that 68Ga DTPA Anti HER2 has the capability to
identify HER2 expressing metastatic lesions from breast cancer. Importantly, HER2 overexpression
was foreseen in lymph nodes and lung metastases by molecular imaging when the
immunohistochemistry analysis was indeterminate for both metastatic sites and, even if 18F FDG

It s time I was used to staying alone. This quote shows that she is often left alone, as her husband
tends to the chores of the farm. Ann resents John for leaving her alone all the time. Anne is
attracted to Steven by the way he describes him, he was erect, tall, square shouldered. His hair
was dark and trim, his young lips curved soft and full. The descriptions that Anne uses shows her
attraction towards the Steven physically. She uses much more flattering words to describe him
in comparison to how she would describe John. Anne is bothered that her husband does not care
about his appearance. This is displayed in the following quotation, He ll be shaved, though that
s what I mean and I d like you too to spend a little time on yourself. She is comparing him to
Steven, and wanting him to be more like Steven. Steven knew that Ann was lonely and needed
someone with whom to talk. When Steven shows up just at the right time to help Ann with the
stock, she was so glad and excited that he had come. He puts his arms around her to comfort
