Postman Mobile Phone
You Used To Call Me On My Telephone Don t you think it s a little insane how a substantial amount
of people have cell phones than toilets? The percent of high school students who actively use their cell
phones is a high eighty percent and the number multiplies every year. As a result of this the majority
of high school students are presently communicating by texting and it is slowly causing the English
language to fall. In consequence of the fact that the number of students who text is relentlessly
growing, I suppose the English language will become more complex and it will incapacitate the
grammar of high school students. First and foremost, language is ever evolving if you think about it.

about what makes a word real. Is the list of words that students create while they text real? Curzan
says That word might be informal, that word that you think is illogical or unnecessary, but that word
we re using is real. In other words, she explains that a word is real if you and the person you re
communicating with both understand the same word. I openly presume that if all this continues, high
school students grades will continue to diminish as the texting language

Jazz Concert Report Sample
On March 30th, 2017 I attended a well performed jazz concert at Prince George s Community
College. The concert was performed by a group called The Reginald Cyntje Group. The Reginald
Cyntje Group was made up of Brian Settles, Herman Burney, Lenny Robinson, Hope Udobi, and
Reginald Cyntje. The group performed seven songs including: The Rise of the Protester, Ballad for the
Masses, Chant of the Revolt, Descension and Ascension, No Justice No Peace, The Piece of
Resistance, and Blues People vs the Deplorables. While I enjoyed all of the songs my favorite was the
Dance of the Crooked Heads, which will be the topic of my report.
The Dance of the Crooked Heads was performed by Settles playing a tenor saxophone, Burney
playing a bass, Robinson playing drums, Udobi playing the piano, and Cyntje playing the trombone.
There was not anyone singing or doing vocals. The genre of the song was jazz and the musical style of
the composition was instrumental. I believe it is instrumental because it did not contain a voice
accompaniment, only instrumental. As stated before the genre is jazz, which can be said has smooth
and unrestricted sounds and I think this describes The Dance of the Crooked Heads perfectly. The
song also has an element of jazz which is syncopation. Syncopation is when there is a variety of the
rhythms of the song and they made a part or all of the song off beat. ... Show more content on

about all of the crooked and corrupt people in positions of power specifically in government. He said
it was about how we elected these people and are blind to the fact they do not have the citizen s best
interest in mind. In a way, the song is about the stupidity of the people who elected corrupt people and

How Hillary Lost to Obama in the Democratic Primary Election
How did Hillary Clinton lose to Obama in the Primary Election for democrat? In 2008 Hilary Clinton
and Barack Obama went against each other in the Primary Election for who will run for president as a
democrat. There are many factors involved in the Primary Election and choosing who will run for
president. These two candidates come from different areas and the people s opinion can affect the
decision of who runs. Many factors could have influenced the loss of Clinton, also what was said and
done in the time her and Obama were running.
Barack Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on August fourth. Obama studied at Harvard Law
School, he has an undergraduate degree in Political Science and became a community organizer in
Harlem. In 1990 he was elected president of the Harvard Law Review journal and was also the first
African American to work in the post. Obama s political supporters come from a diverse range of
ethnicities and economic backgrounds, which is rare in American politics. Additionally minority
candidates have not done well in voting where predominantly non minority vote significantly more,
even before the election Obama grew in popularity and become a star in the Democratic Party,

sought out for a seat in the U.S. Senate some of his supporters said he was aiming too high and he

The Field Of Serpentine Belt Drive System
The first solution is Parameter Estimation. Actually, in certain engineering problems, vibration control
for an axially moving string focuses on the vibration isolation problem. Controllers are designed to
restrict vibration resulting from external disturbances, such as support pulley eccentricity or
aerodynamic excitation, to areas not requiring high precision positioning.
Some basic works have been done in the field of serpentine belt drives are researches on the vibration
characteristics of axially moving string. Beikmann et al., (1996) applied a mathematical model to
examine the transverse vibration and stability of coupled belt tensioner systems. Meanwhile, they
modeled and analyzed the serpentine belt drive systems with a dynamic tensioner shown as figure 3.1.
Fig. 1 three pulley serpentine belt drive system
This model system includes the essential components mounted in serpentine belt drive systems, which
is a driving pulley, a driven pulley, a dynamic tensioner. Assumptions are made to simplify the
modeling of the belt drive system: (i) Damping is negligible, (ii) Belt bending stiffness is negligible
and hence belts are modeled as strings, (iii) Axial translation speed of the belt, c, is constant and
uniform, (iv) Belt slippage is negligible, (v) Pulleys other than the tensioner have fixed axes, (vi)
Belt/pulley contact points are those calculated at equilibrium.

Essay about The Parthenon
THE PARTHENON
The Parthenon in Athens is the most important and characteristic monument of ancient Greek
civilization, it is a universal symbol of freedom and democracy. It shows the finest point of Greek
architecture, history and ancient Greek religious beliefs. The Parthenon is a temple dedicated to
Athens patron goddess, Athena (Herbert, 2006:3). Athena was the goddess of civilization, wisdom,
weaving, crafts and war. She never had a consort or lover, and so she was often known as Athena
Parthenos ( Athena the virgin ) which is were the Parthenon s name, derives from.
The Parthenon was an architectural masterpiece because of its great size and elaborate decoration. It

The Parthenon had sculptured panels along its exterior above the columns (called metopes) and
sculptures in the triangular spaces underneath the roof line at both ends of the building (called
pediments) and a unique sculptural feature the Ionic frieze which was around the top of the walls
(wikipedia, 2006). The Parthenon s frieze depicted the Athenian religious ritual called the Panathenaic
festival, in which a procession of citizens paraded to the Acropolis to present to Athena a new robe
woven by specially selected Athenian girls, which was held every 4 years. The frieze showed men
riding spirited horses, women walking along carrying sacred implements, and the gods gathering
together at the head of the parade to observe their human worshippers (‘Parthenon , 2006). This
showed how over confident the spirit of the Athenians where, because they dared put themselves
where ordinarily only gods and heroes might be found.
The metopes all represent various instances of the struggle between the forces of order and justice, on
the one hand and criminal chaos on the other (Silverman, 2003). There are 4 mythological scenes
shown, on the east side of the Parthenon the metopes depict the Gigantomachy which was the
mythical battles between the Olympian gods and the Giants. The metopes on

Blitzkrieg Advantages
Liable To An Advantage
January 30, 1933 a man named Adolf Hitler rose to power over Germany. In the beginning years, he
had scientists make new creations: bigger, better, and more sufficient. His scientists developed new
techniques to succeed in a modern warfare. Hitler prepared plans to usurp Germany and bring the
country into a position of power, he spent the 1930s developing his plans while other countries
yearned for food and employment. He came across a term known as blitzkrieg also known as lightning
war.

dive bombers demolished the Dutch air force, all the while the German infantry followed the Panzers

Myth Of Meritocracy
The Myth of Meritocracy: Corruption in the Media and America s Education System
Two hundred and fifty years ago, America was formed as a classless society, a meritocracy based on
initiative, effort, and perseverance (Rocca 2). It was the land of equal opportunity, where power was
vested in those individuals who had earned it. Advancement in society was based on merit, not
favoritism. Those were the ideals America was built upon, but that is no longer the case. Diana
Kendall s essay Framing Class, Vicarious Living and Conspicuous Consumption and Jean Anyon s
study From Social Class and the Hidden Curriculum of Work analyze two areas of society that foster
inequality and validate the myth of meritocracy: our class system and education system. Anyon s
essay describes the different teaching methods in fifth grade classrooms located in varying
socioeconomic communities. Through her research, she points out that students in working class
schools are treated much worse than those in affluent, elite classrooms, supporting the claim that
opportunity is not distributed fairly in our public education system. Kendall s essay investigates
another area where meritocracy should be but no longer is at work. She places blame on the media for
the growing gap between upper and lower class Americans. She analyzes the way the media shapes
our everyday lives and taints our view of class and social inequality. While both essays use logos to
build their arguments and strengthen their ethos, Kendall takes a more informal tone in her essay and
more heavily utilizes pathos. Although, rarely, does she blatantly bad mouth the media, Kendall has a
more opinionated thesis littered with negative undertones about the media s influence within society.
Anyon s summary of the study she conducted is purely qualitative data that she presents in an
unbiased manner. Although she still makes an argument, there is little to no personal opinion about the
issue. Instead, she chooses to build her ethos through clear and logical data, allowing room for the
reader to really form their own opinion about the matter and potentially investigate it further. Framing

Stereotypes Of Optimism
Optimism. What is it really? Many people misjudge what it really means to be optimistic. As someone
who likes to think of themselves as an optimistic person, I understand how you could be stereotyped.
Someone who is optimistic doesn t necessarily fall under the guidelines, stereotyped by society. The
first thing that comes to most people s minds when they think of someone being optimistic might be,
unrealistic, cheesy, or sounds like a guidance counselor . But being optimistic doesn t mean you are
unrealistic, simply hopeful. I m not talking Snow and Charming from Once Upon a Time, it is not

Nelson-Atkins Museum Of Modern Art Analysis
On a trip to the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art, my boyfriend, David, and I strolled through the
museum while I, being an art history major, recited to him all that I knew about certain pieces. We
observed sculptures by Auguste Rodin, works painted by Georgia O Keeffe, and busts of Roman
leaders. David was enjoying all the artwork until we reached the Contemporary art gallery upon where
viewing Mark Rothko s Untitled No. 11 made in 1963, he shook his head in anger at what he thought

artists the same way the Coke and Pepsi brands distinguish them from other sugar water (Mayyasi).

Cerebral Isolation Using Word Processing
Cerebral Isolation Using Word Processing
Bianca Barreto
Texas Tech University Abstract
In general, the brain is thought to be lateralized with the two hemispheres having control of the
opposite side of the body and their own functionalities. In this case, the left hemisphere dominates in
language and verbal capabilities controlling the right side of the body including the right visual field.
Using this fact and the difference in visual fields, subjects were asked to focus on a flashing screen
with a pulsating plus sign. Vertically oriented words would flash on either the left or right side of the
plus sign in order to isolate individual hemispheres. The time to correctly identify the words was
recorded and compared between the left and right visual fields as well as between males and females.
In this case, there was a significant difference between visual fields with the right side being
significantly faster at processing words. In addition, males showed greater differences between visual
fields when compared to females. These findings suggest that the right hemisphere is more selective in
word processing and that males are more lateralized than females. Cerebral Isolation Using Word
Processing Insufficient information is known about how words are processed by the brain. Within the
scientific community, the brain is believed to be lateralized (Tucha, Aschenbrenner, Lange, 2000). In
this case, the left hemisphere controls the right side of the body and the

Coach Carter Hero
When thinking of a hero, the first idea that comes to mind is a person that receives admiration due to
the acts in which they perform. With that said, a person that I personally admire is Ken Carter. Ken
Carter was a basketball player who excelled at the collegiate level. He used the experience he gained
to become a head basketball coach at Richmond High School, a rough inner city school filled with
below average students. Coach Carter accepted the job hoping to change this disturbing trend of
grades. He turned a disappointing team of young men into superb athletes, but more importantly better
students with the use of his strict coaching technique. I see Coach Carter as a hero due to his
helpfulness, bravery, and love for others.

Cruz, was in a gang and unable to get out of it. Timo caused much disruption at practice and had a
problem with instigating fights. While Carter disapproved of this behavior, he knew that if he kicked
Cruz off the team that the young man s life would continue to spiral downward. Keeping this in mind,
Coach Carter allowed Cruz to stay on the team; however, he continually talked to him about leaving
the gang life. Carter s true love was seen when Cruz s cousin who was in the gang with him was shot
during a drug deal. Cruz arrived at Carter s house in the middle of the night with blood on his hands
asking for help. Rather than leaving the distraught Cruz out in the streets, Coach Carter took him into
his house and was able to remove him from the gang life. Later on, Coach Carter helped Cruz play
basketball in college, an achievement nobody ever thought would be a part of Timo Cruz s life. Many
of these young men s lives were saved by the love that Coach Carter showed for them. I greatly

How Nutrition Is Important And Can Enhance Athletic...
It is well known that nutrition is very important and can enhance athletic performance. Although
college athletes require training and skills, they also require a quality diet. Athletes who eat healthy
and consume an adequate diet perform better than those who eat poorly. However, many athletes do
not know how important nutrition is, how much is required, and how it can affect their overall health
and physical output. They often are told the wrong things or have their own conceptions of what is
healthy and what is not (Webber; 2015). In order to make the healthiest food choices and perform at
their best, it is the coaches, strength and conditioning staff, and athletic trainers jobs to properly
inform therequiem.
Coaches play a major role in influencing nutritional habits. In many sports, the coaches have a
tendency of being less concerned about the overall health of an athlete and more concerned about their
physical appearance. Although size plays a major role in many sports, it is more important for these
athletes to have adequate nutrition in order to perform well (Webber; 2015). As a coach, it is very
important that your athletes understand the importance of nutrition and how to properly take care of
their bodies. Nutrition can affect their performance and can inevitably cause life long health issues.
There are easy ways to inform athletes on what is important and what is expected of them. Although
everyone will not follow the recommended guidelines and every athlete is

The Storyteller has four parallel stories. Sage is a brilliant baker who works at night, living a limited

Minka grows up in Lodz and is forced into the ghetto with her family. Eventually she is sent on a

survives. Franz and Reiner are two German brothers different as can be; one a serious sensitive
student, the other a fighter; both end up in the SS. Meanwhile we read Minka s fiction, chapters of a
dark Gothic romance about a baker s daughter and two demon brothers who terrorize a village. Minka

American Sisterhood
On the subject of feminism, there must be broader look at the unique circumstances that people have
encountered throughout their lives and how each of them deals with such matters. According to the
authors, a transnational feminist analysis requires intersectionality between race and gender. A call to
action will be to form of new perspective on the issues that surround women and specially women of
color. Instead of focusing on analyzing feminism through a western lens, such as global sisterhood,
feminism should ensure the integration of all the aspects of women in different regions of the world.
This sisterhood then leads to the concern of basing the western experience upon non western people
and it creates more internalized stereotypes. A call to action will be to form of new perspective on the
issues that surround women and specially women of color. M. Jacqui Alexander and Chandra Talpade

feminism, utilizing a stereotype about certain women in the world eliminates their representation and
thus negates the fact that they are combating for their political rights. In sum, the concept of using

The Human Genome Is The Complete Set Of Genetic...
The human genome is the complete set of genetic information for humans. This information is located
in the deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) which in the 23 chromosomes pairs.
Both protein coding DNA and non coding DNA make up the human genome. DNA is a nucleic acid,
which is responsible for storage, expression and the transmission of genetic information. There are
two types of nucleic acids, DNA which stores the genetic information, and Ribonucleic acid (RNA)
which is decodes the genetic information for form a polypeptide chain. DNA is a double strained
structure. The strains are comprised of nucleotides. These nucleotides contains a pentose sugar, a

Deception In Antony And Cleopatra
Antony and Cleopatra
Deliberately falsifying information for personal gain causing an ensuing conflict is a motif clearly
contrived within William Shakespeare s tragedy Antony and Cleopatra. Deception is represented
within the protagonist, the queen of Egypt, Cleopatra, a tempting seductress who has a false
relationship with Antony only for personal motives. Within the play Cleopatra fabricates illnesses,
deceives Antony s love through her betrayal at sea and likens Caesar to a god, Antony s enemy, all to
achieve attention and advance politically. Created in 1606 during the Elizabethan era the characters
within the play are based on an imaginary and partially real concept of historical characters.
Shakespeare showcases Cleopatra as a woman unlike many of the time, holding power over man. In
the visual representation a mask, ships on a stormy sea and a serpent are used to represent the act of
deception. Antony s fatal attraction to the queen, and Cleopatra s hidden desires bind the two together
to create a falsified love on public display that is fueled by deception.
The queen of Egypt Cleopatra, as represented in the Shakespearean tragedy, embodies a deceiving and
controlling nature. This is the cause of conflicts between herself and Antony, concocted for selfish,
personal gain. Cleopatra twists the mind of Antony, fabricating a lie to get his attention onto her. If
you find him sad, say I am dancing. If in mirth, report That I am sudden sick. (Cleopatra: 1, 3, 3 5).
Shakespeare s use of dialogue is there to express Cleopatra s jealousy of his wife Fulvia and how she
wishes for Antony to feel longing for her and regret that he went back to Rome leaving a sick queen
alone. She reiterates her feigning spell over Antony to distort his emotions. Mardian go tell him that I
have slain myself. Say that the last I spoke was Antony , piteously (Cleopatra: 4, 13, 6 8). She fakes
her death accomplishing her goal of Antony forgetting about his anger towards her and instead to feel
endearing sadness. The Egyptian queen manipulates Antony to believe that her love for him is real, yet
he is blind to her performance. Here she showcases the power she holds above Antony, unusual in
both Shakespeare s time and the

Advantages And Disadvantages Of SLN
NLC were idealized to overcome inherent disadvantages of SLN. Entrapping structure is a blend of
solid and liquid, spatially incompatible, lipids that confers distinct characteristics of NLC when
compared with other lipid NPs [80]. Indeed, since the matrix of the lipids composing the
nanostructured lipid carriers is more amorphous than for SLN, association efficiency is higher and
offers a slower release [81]. The nanodroplet of liquid lipid, containing most of the drug to entrap,
becomes dispersed within the solid lipid, granting a slower migration of drug to the outer phase and,
therefore, a higher entrapment that lasts longer.

achieve the most stable and suitable particles for buccal delivery. The stability was determined by
assessing nanoparticle aggregation and disintegration in contact with simulated salivary fluid, along
with the variation of polydispersity index, hydrodynamic diameter and zeta potential. It was observed
that alginate NPs presented good stability during 120 min in contact with artificial saliva since some
parameters did not significantly vary throughout of the course of the assay. Even though the chelation
of zinc ions would be expected due to the high content of phosphates in artificial saliva, so it was
suggested that the presence of calcium in the dispersion media prevented the zinc chelation and
maintained the structure of alginate NPs intact, as expected to occur in vivo [91]. The size of pectin
NPs significantly decreased (with consequent variation of polydispersity index) after contact with
artificial saliva, indicating either erosion and/or shrinking due to the formation of additional cross
linking with the ions present in the artificial saliva. The size

Ms.Brady Have you ever questioned how immigrants feel about America? Do you ever wonder how
much effort and time it takes to get here? Immigrants play a major role in the U.S. They come here for
various reasons as far as starting an enterprising business, an ideal marriage, or pursue their education
career. They come across challenges when they come here. In class, we ve read the books, My
Favorite Chaperone by the author Jean Davies Okimoto, Bonne Année by Jean Pierre Benoit, and A
Place to Call Home by Scott Bittle and Jonathan Rochkind. These passages discuss stories and
experiences upon what immigrants face and having a hard time adapting to is language, culture, and

Kreyòl, the language of my birthplace, is a mystery. this example shows that he wants to inform the
reader that he is a true American, not a Haitian and that he only and will speak English. Overall all of
these stories conclude that language is a big challenge immigrants face because they have to deal with
a form of communication. In the U.S immigrants struggle with adapting to English. Another important
topic immigrants struggle with is adapting to through culture. Maya in (MFC) struggles with this
because when she wants to fit in like an American such as, hanging with boys, not having many
responsibilities, and doing many activities she gets in trouble. Kazakhstani ways are strict, she is not
allowed to step out of the zone and when she does she gets a consequence when her dad sees her being
used as a weight lift for boys. In line 609 616 the text says, They don t know about things here, only
their own ways. They are like stone.....perhaps because we huddled together like a tiny Kazakh island
in the middle of the great American sea. This quote emphasizes that Maya wants to engage the reader
to know that her parents don t understand her when she s trying to break out of her shell because she
in an environment where she s the outlier when everybody else is alike. In the passage A Place to Call

The Effect Of Cost On The Profitability Of The Businesses...
Introduction
All businesses work with the main objective of making a profit. The determination of the profitability
of the businesses will depend on the assessment of various factors of production as they contribute to
the final income. The most primitive way of expressing the profit of a firm is through the subtraction
of the costs from the revenues. Fixed cost is costs that are not changeable over a long period of time
while the variable costs do change as time changes. Traditionally, the statement of accounts and
profitability only took into consideration the interplay between the two factors costs and revenues. In
this traditional statement, variable costs and fixed cost were treated similarly. The separation of the
costs as either fixed cost or variable cost came into being with the advent of the margin statement. In
simplest terms, contribution margin has been used to indicate the result of excess between the
revenues and the variable costs. The contribution margin is therefore, an in depth statement of profit to
take to account a lot of other financial variables in the like revenues, expenses, profits, and losses
among others. Gross profit is a crude profit since it does not entirely belong to the company s revenue.
These are some of the loopholes in the accounting that the contribution margin exists to seal and it
does this through the consideration of net profit in the accounting period other than the gross profit.
The most important application of the contribution

Building A Great Web Experimentation Testing Program
According to an article Build A Great Web Experimentation Testing Program of Avinash Kaushik who
is the author of Web Analytics 2.0: The Art of Online Accountability and Science of Customer
Centricity, there are 7 recommendations of how to build a successful testing program: 1. First get over
your own opinions: If we are running the program it is important that first we get over yourself. If we
are going to convince everyone else that testing and validating opinions should be a way of life, we
should first truly drink the kool aid. Bottom line, we will get a receptive audience and change minds
much faster, because we are willing to open the kimono . 2. State a hypothesis, not a test scenario: The
golden rule is: Always start with a hypothesis, not test details or test scenario. If people come to us and
say, I want to run a test different box shots, can you swap this image with text, we should try different
promotions etc; and then we should turn to the person and say what is your hypothesis. It is amazing
how many times people are taken aback by that. Mostly because we as humans don t want to put that
much thought into anything. The magic of this question is that it forces people to take a step back and
think. They might come back to us and say my hypothesis is this... or my hypothesis is that... Bottom
line: Two great outcomes: 1) we can now contribute to the creation of the test, rather than just starting
with a I want you to do this 2) In every well crafted

Corruption In Society
The Constitution is a plan for the government that was developed in 1789. The government s role is to
protect the people s natural rights and provide security for people. Throughout time there have been
changes in society, therefore the Constitution should have changes to fit our society. The body of the
Constitution is adequate for today s society but to help keep our rights safe and to have good security,
there should be minor changes to the Constitution. The Constitution is corrupt in today s society
because of technological advances, corrupt government officials, and the federal government has too
much power over state governments. In today s society there are corrupt government officials. For
example the basic person can t run for President. You have to have money in order to run a campaign.
So there are only rich people involved in today s politics and they only care about how they can
benefit themselves. Yates said Purposes of gratifying their own interest and ambition. This says that
people will and do abuse their power for their own purposes and don t care about the average person.
Yates also wrote to call them to account for their misconduct, or to prevent their abuse of power. This
states that it is our responsibility as citizens to prevent or call out officials on this matter. If we are not
careful then the government could change into an aristocracy. Some officials that are rich only care
about money and power so if we let them in power then they could

Mr. J is an elderly, retired, Jewish rabbi of 78 years old. Due to a hip fracture Mr. J was admitted to the

Mr. J s stay more pleasant.
In 1994 the American Nurses Association (ANA) started the Patient Safety and Quality Initiative. It

Ulcers are preventable with turning schedules, frequent toileting, and good nutrition. Millions of
dollars could be saved with just a few interventions and patient satisfaction would also increase.
There are things that could have been done to solve the ethical issues in Mr. J s scenario. First, the
CNA needs to be educated on what to look for when it comes to pressure areas. A protocol should be
in place in which a CNA notifies the nursing staff of any redness. In turn the nursing staff should then
follow up with a care for the patient that requires turning every two hours. Second, a local Rabbi
should be called in to educate staff on the Jewish culture and the changes in care a patient should need
if they are Jewish. Teaching on Kosher diets would be one of the aspects of the education provided to
all staff. Thirdly, all staff needs education about communication. Education about communication
should be ongoing. Communication between staff is as important as communication between staff and
patients and staff and family. The diet issue should have been brought up to management before so
that the problem could have been prevented before Mr. J became a patient. The fact that it was not
reported reflects a system change that needs to be made in the realm of communication. Lastly, there
should be a protocol as to when restraints should be used. As discussed earlier in this paper, the patient

Essay On Why The Voting Age Should Be Abolished
Sweet 16 in North America, it marks the point of transition into adulthood, and it is much the same in
Australia. While 18 is considered the legal age in Australia, 16 year olds have been given many legal
rights, such as learning to drive, being employed, and even being able to leave school. So what about
being able to vote at elections? Following federal Labor leader, Bill Shorten s stance on lowering the
voting age in Australia to 16, I too feel for the need to allow more of the younger population of
Australia to participate in elections, and as Australians, so should you.
Here are the reasons why.
The current minimum voting age, 18, also marks the year of chaos and pressure for many young
Australians. 18 is the time when many complete high school and continue to embark on university,
TAFE or even full time employment. It s the time when many leave home and move to new and
unfamiliar environments, and it is certainly the time when waves of stress that accompany the
beginning of adulthood come crashing in for the first time. With all of the changes occurring in an 18
year old s life, having to adjust with the new responsibility of voting at elections ... Show more

This can certainly be true for some people in this age group, but definitely not all, and the problem of
having little knowledge about how the government works is far from being limited to this specific age
group. In fact, there is no doubt that people of all age groups in Australia, even those who have been
voting at elections for years on end, have a lack of political knowledge and show disinterest in this
field. With the rise of political discussion amongst social media, it can even be said that some 16 year
olds are much more involved in political issues, of which is evident in their complex and heated
debates about the government on social

Characteristics Of Dystopias
Dystopias all cooperate of similar characteristics that set themselves apart from their opposite, utopias.
While utopias live in a hypothetical world of freedom with its citizens free to pursue their desires or
the state being in a clean uniform like layout, dystopias face the opposite. The creators of the
dystopias mimic many of the themes of their current day totalitarian governments and portray it into a
format that can be looked upon by people into the future. Both the dystopic novels, Fahrenheit 451,
and Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, abide to these close characteristics. Dystopias illustrate
what many writers and story tellers strive to create in an enclosed community by portraying the

The robot Maria in the movie is introduced to keep the workers in order. The workers are stuck
looking down as they descend into the dark world to work. Their strenuous labor does not yield
themselves any benefits, however, the superiors that set up the concept have created a utopia like
system for themselves bordered away by tall walls, leading them to enjoy life surrounded by poverty
and disease. The commoners will hopefully never discover, or learn of such a beautiful idea of a clean
and ideal location, that only fuels a select few masters who control the state. Otherwise, the individual
who knows and tells of the supposed world may face severe consequences.
A totalitarian society is full of powerful laws that bring out the strong consequences that any
commoner would never want to deal with. In Ray Bradbury s book Fahrenheit 451, during Guy

Any displacement of the tympanic membrane causes changes in pressure waves which is transmitted
by tiny bones. 2 Middle ear: Sound waves traveling through the ear canal will hit the tympanum. This
wave information travels across middle ear cavity via a series of delicate bones: the mallus (hammer),
incus (anvil) and stapes (stirrup). These ossicles act as a lever converting the lower pressure eardrum
sound vibrations into higher pressure sound vibrations to smaller membrane called the oval window.
Higher pressure is necessary because the inner ear beyond the oval window contains liquid rather than
air. The auditory reflex of the middle ear muscles helps protect the inner ear from damage. The middle
ear still contains the sound information in wave form; it is converted to nerve impulses in the cochlea.
3 The inner ear: The inner ear consists of the cochlea. The cochlea has three fluid filled sections, and
supports a fluid wave driven by pressure across the basilar membrane separating two of the sections. 1

Essay about My Brilliant Racing Career
As I enter my last semester of high school, I have to starting thinking about making a plan for the
future. The problem for me was actually making a decision that would be right for me, I could not
decide what I wanted to do until a few weeks ago. But I finally made my decision about what I think I
will enjoy doing, and making a career out of it. There are many paths I can and could take, but the
automotive area is the one that sticks out to me. The two technician schools I have chosen are UTI,

That is why I have chosen to go into the automotive world.
In order to be like my grandpa, I have to start learning more about how he got to where he is. The first
step for me to take is going to an automotive technician school. I found a few places such as UTI
(Universal Technician Institute), and Wyotech University which are both great places to get started.
My plan so far is to take UTI s 51 week starting program in order to get me going. After that I will be
going to their main school in Charlotte, North Carolina. Once I m there I will take a racing technician
class which is around 15 weeks long, and that puts me right into the seat of racing. After researching
some more I found out that if I am in the top 5 students of the racing program, I get the opportunity to
be picked up and hired by an actual racing company such as Porsche, Ford, Mercedes, Chevrolet and
maybe even McLaren, and get to work for them which would be an honor. But even to get that
opportunity I have to start somewhere, and I feel like UTI is a good place for me to start. At UTI the
learning environment looks like a collage campus from the outside, but on the inside it is one big
garage full of all types of cars. The teachers are all certified automotive technicians and master
mechanics; they will teach me everything I will need to know. Most of the students are like I am; we
all share a burning passion and love for cars, and we all strive to gain more knowledge about them.

to emphasize the anxious state that Chris is currently in. One possible replacement could be worse yet

Pg1, P3, L6 7 The phrase It was completely up to her seems largely unnecessary in this paragraph, as
the same idea is conveyed in the sentence before it as well as the sentence after it. Thus, I would
recommend removing it but it s all up to you!

The Political Engagement Of Burma
As Burma seeks to distance itself from China, despite Burma s failed engagement on the energy front,
India may very well be destined to be the major beneficiary. Burma has been grateful that India has
focused on education, provision of technology and services, and infrastructure just as much as it has
focused on energy (Maini, 2014). With all things considered, China virtually has monopoly over
Burma s offshore gas fields. Its economic and political engagement in Burma is greater than any other
country in the world beyond comparison.

Contrary to popular belief, the tribes are weary of Burma becoming a democracy too soon. Suu Kyi is
little more than a symbol of the wrong issue democracy first! Ethnic rights and the balance of ethnic
power are preconditions for democracy (Kaplan, 2011). The granddaughter of famous military general
Aung San, Aung San Suu Kyi, has led Burma s National League of Democracy. India has a strong
relationship with Suu Kyi, as India supported Burma s democracy leader prior to changing its policy
to engagement with the regime. Suu Kyi studied in India, won the Nehru Award for International
Peace in 1982, and her family has strong ties to Jawaharlal Nehru (Myint U, 2011). Although Suu Kyi
and the tribes are against the same military, their visions for the order are different by which a
transition to a civilian government must to occur. The major concern of the tribes is their rights
through a federation that grants them self rule. Suu Kyi specifically desires elections, with less regard
for the distinctive approach that will be necessary in order to satisfy the tribes. India and Suu Kyi have
distanced from each other, creating an opportunity for India to advocate for the tribes. The tribes may

it is also the first cause of death in the United States; teens are 30 times as likely to be in a crash. Also

If you are a 50 year old woman who is not taking medication, you have a 50% chance of having a

chance of developing a spinal deformity known as dowager s hump. ( CAM, 2001) Even though it is
beneficial to increase their intake of calcium and vitamin D, women will still experience bone loss due
to the decrease in estrogen. Although more research is needed some recent studies have found that
Alzheimer s disease may develop in women with a family history of said disease with the onset of

believed to be due to postmenopausal women being estrogen deficient.
The word menopause is used by patients and health care providers to describe a period of time in
which the functions of a women s ovaries are declining. The true definition of menopause is the last

women has to have one year of amenorrhea following her last menstrual cycle. The terms climacteric

  • 2. Postman Mobile Phone You Used To Call Me On My Telephone Don t you think it s a little insane how a substantial amount of people have cell phones than toilets? The percent of high school students who actively use their cell phones is a high eighty percent and the number multiplies every year. As a result of this the majority of high school students are presently communicating by texting and it is slowly causing the English language to fall. In consequence of the fact that the number of students who text is relentlessly growing, I suppose the English language will become more complex and it will incapacitate the grammar of high school students. First and foremost, language is ever evolving if you think about it. The language high school students communicate ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Each and every year, the number of new words originated by texting and the media is rapidly growing and they re also being affixed to the English dictionary. In the Ted Talk, What Makes A Word Real member of the American Heritage Dictionary Usage Panel, Anne Curzan, gives an informative speech about what makes a word real. Is the list of words that students create while they text real? Curzan says That word might be informal, that word that you think is illogical or unnecessary, but that word we re using is real. In other words, she explains that a word is real if you and the person you re communicating with both understand the same word. I openly presume that if all this continues, high school students grades will continue to diminish as the texting language ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Jazz Concert Report Sample On March 30th, 2017 I attended a well performed jazz concert at Prince George s Community College. The concert was performed by a group called The Reginald Cyntje Group. The Reginald Cyntje Group was made up of Brian Settles, Herman Burney, Lenny Robinson, Hope Udobi, and Reginald Cyntje. The group performed seven songs including: The Rise of the Protester, Ballad for the Masses, Chant of the Revolt, Descension and Ascension, No Justice No Peace, The Piece of Resistance, and Blues People vs the Deplorables. While I enjoyed all of the songs my favorite was the Dance of the Crooked Heads, which will be the topic of my report. The Dance of the Crooked Heads was performed by Settles playing a tenor saxophone, Burney playing a bass, Robinson playing drums, Udobi playing the piano, and Cyntje playing the trombone. There was not anyone singing or doing vocals. The genre of the song was jazz and the musical style of the composition was instrumental. I believe it is instrumental because it did not contain a voice accompaniment, only instrumental. As stated before the genre is jazz, which can be said has smooth and unrestricted sounds and I think this describes The Dance of the Crooked Heads perfectly. The song also has an element of jazz which is syncopation. Syncopation is when there is a variety of the rhythms of the song and they made a part or all of the song off beat. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... According to Reginald Cyntje, who composed the piece, said: The Dance of the Crooked Heads was about all of the crooked and corrupt people in positions of power specifically in government. He said it was about how we elected these people and are blind to the fact they do not have the citizen s best interest in mind. In a way, the song is about the stupidity of the people who elected corrupt people and put them in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. How Hillary Lost to Obama in the Democratic Primary Election How did Hillary Clinton lose to Obama in the Primary Election for democrat? In 2008 Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama went against each other in the Primary Election for who will run for president as a democrat. There are many factors involved in the Primary Election and choosing who will run for president. These two candidates come from different areas and the people s opinion can affect the decision of who runs. Many factors could have influenced the loss of Clinton, also what was said and done in the time her and Obama were running. Barack Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on August fourth. Obama studied at Harvard Law School, he has an undergraduate degree in Political Science and became a community organizer in Harlem. In 1990 he was elected president of the Harvard Law Review journal and was also the first African American to work in the post. Obama s political supporters come from a diverse range of ethnicities and economic backgrounds, which is rare in American politics. Additionally minority candidates have not done well in voting where predominantly non minority vote significantly more, even before the election Obama grew in popularity and become a star in the Democratic Party, significantly because if his ethnicity and where he comes from and who he represents. When Obama sought out for a seat in the U.S. Senate some of his supporters said he was aiming too high and he wouldn t make it, however, he proved them wrong by taking fifty three percent of the vote and ... • 5. The Field Of Serpentine Belt Drive System The first solution is Parameter Estimation. Actually, in certain engineering problems, vibration control for an axially moving string focuses on the vibration isolation problem. Controllers are designed to restrict vibration resulting from external disturbances, such as support pulley eccentricity or aerodynamic excitation, to areas not requiring high precision positioning. Some basic works have been done in the field of serpentine belt drives are researches on the vibration characteristics of axially moving string. Beikmann et al., (1996) applied a mathematical model to examine the transverse vibration and stability of coupled belt tensioner systems. Meanwhile, they modeled and analyzed the serpentine belt drive systems with a dynamic tensioner shown as figure 3.1. Fig. 1 three pulley serpentine belt drive system This model system includes the essential components mounted in serpentine belt drive systems, which is a driving pulley, a driven pulley, a dynamic tensioner. Assumptions are made to simplify the modeling of the belt drive system: (i) Damping is negligible, (ii) Belt bending stiffness is negligible and hence belts are modeled as strings, (iii) Axial translation speed of the belt, c, is constant and uniform, (iv) Belt slippage is negligible, (v) Pulleys other than the tensioner have fixed axes, (vi) Belt/pulley contact points are those calculated at equilibrium. Hamilaton s principle can be applied to derive governing equations and boundary conditions. The ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Essay about The Parthenon THE PARTHENON The Parthenon in Athens is the most important and characteristic monument of ancient Greek civilization, it is a universal symbol of freedom and democracy. It shows the finest point of Greek architecture, history and ancient Greek religious beliefs. The Parthenon is a temple dedicated to Athens patron goddess, Athena (Herbert, 2006:3). Athena was the goddess of civilization, wisdom, weaving, crafts and war. She never had a consort or lover, and so she was often known as Athena Parthenos ( Athena the virgin ) which is were the Parthenon s name, derives from. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The Parthenon had sculptured panels along its exterior above the columns (called metopes) and sculptures in the triangular spaces underneath the roof line at both ends of the building (called pediments) and a unique sculptural feature the Ionic frieze which was around the top of the walls (wikipedia, 2006). The Parthenon s frieze depicted the Athenian religious ritual called the Panathenaic festival, in which a procession of citizens paraded to the Acropolis to present to Athena a new robe woven by specially selected Athenian girls, which was held every 4 years. The frieze showed men riding spirited horses, women walking along carrying sacred implements, and the gods gathering together at the head of the parade to observe their human worshippers (‘Parthenon , 2006). This showed how over confident the spirit of the Athenians where, because they dared put themselves where ordinarily only gods and heroes might be found. The metopes all represent various instances of the struggle between the forces of order and justice, on the one hand and criminal chaos on the other (Silverman, 2003). There are 4 mythological scenes shown, on the east side of the Parthenon the metopes depict the Gigantomachy which was the mythical battles between the Olympian gods and the Giants. • 8. Myth Of Meritocracy The Myth of Meritocracy: Corruption in the Media and America s Education System Two hundred and fifty years ago, America was formed as a classless society, a meritocracy based on initiative, effort, and perseverance (Rocca 2). It was the land of equal opportunity, where power was vested in those individuals who had earned it. Advancement in society was based on merit, not favoritism. Those were the ideals America was built upon, but that is no longer the case. Diana Kendall s essay Framing Class, Vicarious Living and Conspicuous Consumption and Jean Anyon s study From Social Class and the Hidden Curriculum of Work analyze two areas of society that foster inequality and validate the myth of meritocracy: our class system and education system. Anyon s essay describes the different teaching methods in fifth grade classrooms located in varying socioeconomic communities. Through her research, she points out that students in working class schools are treated much worse than those in affluent, elite classrooms, supporting the claim that opportunity is not distributed fairly in our public education system. Kendall s essay investigates another area where meritocracy should be but no longer is at work. She places blame on the media for the growing gap between upper and lower class Americans. She analyzes the way the media shapes our everyday lives and taints our view of class and social inequality. While both essays use logos to build their arguments and strengthen their ethos, Kendall takes a more informal tone in her essay and more heavily utilizes pathos. Although, rarely, does she blatantly bad mouth the media, Kendall has a more opinionated thesis littered with negative undertones about the media s influence within society. Anyon s summary of the study she conducted is purely qualitative data that she presents in an unbiased manner. Although she still makes an argument, there is little to no personal opinion about the issue. Instead, she chooses to build her ethos through clear and logical data, allowing room for the reader to really form their own opinion about the matter and potentially investigate it further. • 11. Cerebral Isolation Using Word Processing Cerebral Isolation Using Word Processing Bianca Barreto Texas Tech University Abstract In general, the brain is thought to be lateralized with the two hemispheres having control of the opposite side of the body and their own functionalities. In this case, the left hemisphere dominates in language and verbal capabilities controlling the right side of the body including the right visual field. Using this fact and the difference in visual fields, subjects were asked to focus on a flashing screen with a pulsating plus sign. Vertically oriented words would flash on either the left or right side of the plus sign in order to isolate individual hemispheres. The time to correctly identify the words was recorded and compared between the left and right visual fields as well as between males and females. In this case, there was a significant difference between visual fields with the right side being significantly faster at processing words. In addition, males showed greater differences between visual fields when compared to females. These findings suggest that the right hemisphere is more selective in word processing and that males are more lateralized than females. Cerebral Isolation Using Word Processing Insufficient information is known about how words are processed by the brain. • 19. Deception In Antony And Cleopatra Antony and Cleopatra Deliberately falsifying information for personal gain causing an ensuing conflict is a motif clearly contrived within William Shakespeare s tragedy Antony and Cleopatra. Deception is represented within the protagonist, the queen of Egypt, Cleopatra, a tempting seductress who has a false relationship with Antony only for personal motives. Within the play Cleopatra fabricates illnesses, deceives Antony s love through her betrayal at sea and likens Caesar to a god, Antony s enemy, all to achieve attention and advance politically. Created in 1606 during the Elizabethan era the characters within the play are based on an imaginary and partially real concept of historical characters. Shakespeare showcases Cleopatra as a woman unlike many of the time, holding power over man. In the visual representation a mask, ships on a stormy sea and a serpent are used to represent the act of deception. Antony s fatal attraction to the queen, and Cleopatra s hidden desires bind the two together to create a falsified love on public display that is fueled by deception. The queen of Egypt Cleopatra, as represented in the Shakespearean tragedy, embodies a deceiving and controlling nature. This is the cause of conflicts between herself and Antony, concocted for selfish, personal gain. Cleopatra twists the mind of Antony, fabricating a lie to get his attention onto her. If you find him sad, say I am dancing. If in mirth, report That I am sudden sick. (Cleopatra: 1, 3, 3 5). Shakespeare s use of dialogue is there to express Cleopatra s jealousy of his wife Fulvia and how she wishes for Antony to feel longing for her and regret that he went back to Rome leaving a sick queen alone. She reiterates her feigning spell over Antony to distort his emotions. Mardian go tell him that I have slain myself. Say that the last I spoke was Antony , piteously (Cleopatra: 4, 13, 6 8). She fakes her death accomplishing her goal of Antony forgetting about his anger towards her and instead to feel endearing sadness. Entrapping structure is a blend of solid and liquid, spatially incompatible, lipids that confers distinct characteristics of NLC when compared with other lipid NPs [80]. Indeed, since the matrix of the lipids composing the nanostructured lipid carriers is more amorphous than for SLN, association efficiency is higher and offers a slower release [81]. The nanodroplet of liquid lipid, containing most of the drug to entrap, becomes dispersed within the solid lipid, granting a slower migration of drug to the outer phase and, therefore, a higher entrapment that lasts longer. The stability was determined by assessing nanoparticle aggregation and disintegration in contact with simulated salivary fluid, along with the variation of polydispersity index, hydrodynamic diameter and zeta potential. It was observed that alginate NPs presented good stability during 120 min in contact with artificial saliva since some parameters did not significantly vary throughout of the course of the assay. Even though the chelation of zinc ions would be expected due to the high content of phosphates in artificial saliva, so it was suggested that the presence of calcium in the dispersion media prevented the zinc chelation and maintained the structure of alginate NPs intact, as expected to occur in vivo [91]. The determination of the profitability of the businesses will depend on the assessment of various factors of production as they contribute to the final income. The most primitive way of expressing the profit of a firm is through the subtraction of the costs from the revenues. Fixed cost is costs that are not changeable over a long period of time while the variable costs do change as time changes. Traditionally, the statement of accounts and profitability only took into consideration the interplay between the two factors costs and revenues. In this traditional statement, variable costs and fixed cost were treated similarly. The separation of the costs as either fixed cost or variable cost came into being with the advent of the margin statement. In simplest terms, contribution margin has been used to indicate the result of excess between the revenues and the variable costs. The contribution margin is therefore, an in depth statement of profit to take to account a lot of other financial variables in the like revenues, expenses, profits, and losses among others. Gross profit is a crude profit since it does not entirely belong to the company s revenue. These are some of the loopholes in the accounting that the contribution margin exists to seal and it does this through the consideration of net profit in the accounting period other than the gross profit. • 27. Essay On Why The Voting Age Should Be Abolished Sweet 16 in North America, it marks the point of transition into adulthood, and it is much the same in Australia. While 18 is considered the legal age in Australia, 16 year olds have been given many legal rights, such as learning to drive, being employed, and even being able to leave school. So what about being able to vote at elections? Following federal Labor leader, Bill Shorten s stance on lowering the voting age in Australia to 16, I too feel for the need to allow more of the younger population of Australia to participate in elections, and as Australians, so should you. Here are the reasons why. The current minimum voting age, 18, also marks the year of chaos and pressure for many young Australians. 18 is the time when many complete high school and continue to embark on university, TAFE or even full time employment. It s the time when many leave home and move to new and unfamiliar environments, and it is certainly the time when waves of stress that accompany the beginning of adulthood come crashing in for the first time. With all of the changes occurring in an 18 year old s life, having to adjust with the new responsibility of voting at elections ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This can certainly be true for some people in this age group, but definitely not all, and the problem of having little knowledge about how the government works is far from being limited to this specific age group. In fact, there is no doubt that people of all age groups in Australia, even those who have been voting at elections for years on end, have a lack of political knowledge and show disinterest in this field. With the rise of political discussion amongst social media, it can even be said that some 16 year olds are much more involved in political issues, of which is evident in their complex and heated debates about the government on social ... While utopias live in a hypothetical world of freedom with its citizens free to pursue their desires or the state being in a clean uniform like layout, dystopias face the opposite. The creators of the dystopias mimic many of the themes of their current day totalitarian governments and portray it into a format that can be looked upon by people into the future. Both the dystopic novels, Fahrenheit 451, and Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, abide to these close characteristics. Their strenuous labor does not yield themselves any benefits, however, the superiors that set up the concept have created a utopia like system for themselves bordered away by tall walls, leading them to enjoy life surrounded by poverty and disease. The commoners will hopefully never discover, or learn of such a beautiful idea of a clean and ideal location, that only fuels a select few masters who control the state. Otherwise, the individual who knows and tells of the supposed world may face severe consequences. A totalitarian society is full of powerful laws that bring out the strong consequences that any commoner would never want to deal with. Any displacement of the tympanic membrane causes changes in pressure waves which is transmitted by tiny bones. 2 Middle ear: Sound waves traveling through the ear canal will hit the tympanum. This wave information travels across middle ear cavity via a series of delicate bones: the mallus (hammer), incus (anvil) and stapes (stirrup). These ossicles act as a lever converting the lower pressure eardrum sound vibrations into higher pressure sound vibrations to smaller membrane called the oval window. Higher pressure is necessary because the inner ear beyond the oval window contains liquid rather than air. The auditory reflex of the middle ear muscles helps protect the inner ear from damage. The middle ear still contains the sound information in wave form; it is converted to nerve impulses in the cochlea. 3 The inner ear: The inner ear consists of the cochlea. The cochlea has three fluid filled sections, and supports a fluid wave driven by pressure across the basilar membrane separating two of the sections. 1 called the cochlear duct or scala media, contains an extracellular fluid similar in composition to 2 endolymph, which is usually found inside of cells. The problem for me was actually making a decision that would be right for me, I could not decide what I wanted to do until a few weeks ago. But I finally made my decision about what I think I will enjoy doing, and making a career out of it. That is why I have chosen to go into the automotive world. In order to be like my grandpa, I have to start learning more about how he got to where he is. The first step for me to take is going to an automotive technician school. I found a few places such as UTI (Universal Technician Institute), and Wyotech University which are both great places to get started. My plan so far is to take UTI s 51 week starting program in order to get me going. After that I will be going to their main school in Charlotte, North Carolina. Once I m there I will take a racing technician class which is around 15 weeks long, and that puts me right into the seat of racing. After researching some more I found out that if I am in the top 5 students of the racing program, I get the opportunity to be picked up and hired by an actual racing company such as Porsche, Ford, Mercedes, Chevrolet and maybe even McLaren, and get to work for them which would be an honor. But even to get that opportunity I have to start somewhere, and I feel like UTI is a good place for me to start. At UTI the learning environment looks like a collage campus from the outside, but on the inside it is one big garage full of all types of cars. The teachers are all certified automotive technicians and master mechanics; they will teach me everything I will need to know. Most of the students are like I am; we all share a burning passion and love for cars, and we all strive to gain more knowledge about them. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Political Engagement Of Burma As Burma seeks to distance itself from China, despite Burma s failed engagement on the energy front, India may very well be destined to be the major beneficiary. Burma has been grateful that India has focused on education, provision of technology and services, and infrastructure just as much as it has focused on energy (Maini, 2014). With all things considered, China virtually has monopoly over Burma s offshore gas fields. Its economic and political engagement in Burma is greater than any other country in the world beyond comparison. Tribal Rights Approximately 33% of Burma s population consists of tribal groups. Ethnic rights and the balance of ethnic power are preconditions for democracy (Kaplan, 2011). The granddaughter of famous military general Aung San, Aung San Suu Kyi, has led Burma s National League of Democracy. India has a strong relationship with Suu Kyi, as India supported Burma s democracy leader prior to changing its policy to engagement with the regime. Suu Kyi studied in India, won the Nehru Award for International Peace in 1982, and her family has strong ties to Jawaharlal Nehru (Myint U, 2011). Although Suu Kyi and the tribes are against the same military, their visions for the order are different by which a transition to a civilian government must to occur. The major concern of the tribes is their rights through a federation that grants them self rule. Suu Kyi specifically desires elections, with less regard for the distinctive approach that will be necessary in order to satisfy the tribes. You have a 20% to 30% chance of developing a spinal deformity known as dowager s hump. ( CAM, 2001) Even though it is beneficial to increase their intake of calcium and vitamin D, women will still experience bone loss due to the decrease in estrogen. Although more research is needed some recent studies have found that Alzheimer s disease may develop in women with a family history of said disease with the onset of menopause. Cardiovascular disease is the major cause of death in post menopausal women. This is believed to be due to postmenopausal women being estrogen deficient. The word menopause is used by patients and health care providers to describe a period of time in which the functions of a women s ovaries are declining. The true definition of menopause is the last menstrual period in woman s reproductive life.
