People argue that sex education is not being taught the way that it should be these days and besides
kids being told not to have sex, they are being told how to have sex without getting diseases. Which in
some cases is true, but you never know until you look deeper into how sex education and how it is
really being taught in schools around the United States today. After doing research I found two
examples of approaches to sex education currently being used in the United States today. The places
that I found how sex education is being taught are North Carolina Franklin County Public Schools and
Texas Public School District. These two states alone teach the concept of sex education in a very
different way. Texas takes an approach at it that everyone wishes every state would look at sex
education, and North Carolina takes an approach that everyone thinks all states take in teaching kids

The state of Florida is one of the states in the U.S. that is known for its sinkholes. The entire state of
Florida is sitting on top of a long stretch of limestone, which is the main ingredient in sinkholes. As
the limestone dissolves underground, it creates a void and whatever is sitting on top of this empty
void, it sinks into it. If it is simply a chunk of uninhabited that is sitting on top of a void, formation of
a sinkhole is not that big of a deal. But, if it is a house that a family is living in, now that is a different
story. When a sinkhole is about to form, there are no distinct signs. Even if there are clear signs
through cracks on the street or cracks in the house, by the time we realize, our homes would be
sinking down into the sinkhole. There has been multiple cases in Florida where families have been left
devastated due to sinkholes. In August 2013, Summer Bay Resort, Disney area timeshare development

There are many ecological problems facing us in the United States today. Among those issues includes
global warming, our dependence on fossil fuel, saving our endangered wildlife, and ensuring that we
have safe and sufficient water. There is one environmental issue, however, that streams across all these
areas, and threatens the safety of our country, and of many bodies of water all over the world, and that
is the issue of Oil Spills. An oil spill can be defined as, an unintentional release of crude oil or refined

It has been said that One of the greatest regrets in life is being what others would want you to be,
rather than being yourself. What should matter is being true to oneself and loving the person that you
have become. This short story is narrated by Mama who is telling her story of her two daughters, Dee
and Maggie. Both daughters live their lives in very different ways. In Dee s case, she goes out to make
all that she can of herself while leaving her mother and sister behind. Maggie stays at home with their
Mama and makes the most out of what surrounds her. All three ladies have different perspectives of
their own heritage and identity. The conflict in Everyday Use is that Mama has these two daughters
