under federal and state investigation for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) fraud, substandard patient
care, and safety problems. In May 2013, the hospital entered into a five year corporate integrity
agreement (CIA) with the Office of Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Health and Human
Services (OIG) to correct its ethical violations and patient safety problems.
The purpose of this paper is therefore to make an interview with a quality care manager in this
Hospital I am currently working regarding the nurses role is in implementing the CIA that the
Hospital entered with OIG to improve patient safety and quality of patient care.
Summary of the Interview
I interviewed Mr. Jeremy Lewis who is an assistant manager of a float pool staff, and also is a
compliance committee member concerning the nurses role in the implementation the CIA that
Parkland made with OIG to improve quality and safety of patient care. Mr. Lewis started to tell me,
how the hospital has reached to this point. According to Mr. Lewis ((personal communication,

common in today s society, it was severely looked down upon in the 1800s. In The Scarlet Letter,
Nathanial Hawthorne communicates the story of Hester Prynne, an adulteress. Hester Prynne lived
in a Puritan Society in which women were held to high, difficult, and unjust standards by men.
Evidently, she undergoes unusual punishments for her infidelities against her estranged husband.
She forcibly wears an embroidered, scarlet letter A on her breast for the remainder of her life.
Though physically benign, its call of attention to Hester s transgression is emotionally straining. As
a man or woman, adultery must always be perceived as improper and unlawful. However, the author
exhibits transcendentalist values when one can conclude that Hawthorne s words were not

Alphonse Mucha, an adept designer from the Art Nouveau movement, heavily inspired my art piece
Just Breathe . Mucha is renowned for his captivating feminine style. His works from Art Nouveau
often had a central female figure encircled in intricate design. The surrounding design ranged from
nature to themes inspired from cultures such as Moravian folk art.
Similarly, my poster contains a leading woman placed in the center. She is enclosed in a circle of
blues, greens, and teals with a unique texture. A smoky design also escapes her mouth to
resemble breathing. Much like Mucha; flowers, a peacock feather, and the colors are influenced
by the movement he partook in. He also created hand drawn typography in his prints and
paintings. I was decided to try the same with the words: just breathe. Outside the circle and type, it
is illuminated by a light blue. That shade is also used to create a border around the whole ... Show
I took the information I already knew and what I learned and incorporated bits into my own piece.
I then made a sketch on 11x14 bristol paper. After that, I created the lineart with micron pens.
Microns have pigment ink which made it helpful to color the woman and flowers with copic
markers. The circle was painted with watercolor while the texture was made with paper towels and
a paintbrush. Around the girl and the smoky design is a white outline. That was done with white
gel pen.
Overall, my intention for this poster was to create a serene image that reminds the viewer to a
take a step back and breathe from any stress they are enduring. I was influenced by my own
personal experiences with Anxiety to create this. I easily get anxious and suffer from panic

Emphasizing the True Meaning of Poems Around the seventeenth century the poets Andrew
Marvell and John Donne expressed their feelings through poetry. Both John Donne, born in 1572
and Andrew Marvell, born in 1621 in England, are known for their ideas of metaphysical poetry.
Metaphysical poetry is a persuasive poem that uses a conceit. It focuses on imagery, paradoxes,
arguments, philosophy and religion. Andrew Marvell s To His Coy Mistress and John Donne s A
Valediction: Forbidding Mourning, focus on the theme of love, which was trending at that time.
Although both poems justify the importance and essence of love, the tone differs in each poem
making them distant from each other. The figurative language also makes the two poems different.
However, they both focus on the idea of Carpe Diem, enjoying the moment and not worrying about
the future. Through comparing these poems, the differences and similarities result in the true
understanding and effectiveness of the poems. In To His Coy Mistress, Andrew Marvell does not
perceive true, fervent love, but rather that time and beauty will not last. The tone of this poem is

Analysis of the Oklahoma City Bombing On April 19th, 1995, at 9:02 AM a bomb exploded
outside the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Office Building in Oklahoma City. The cause of the
explosion was an Ammonium Nitrate and Fuel Oil bomb in a 24 foot rental truck parked in the
street on the north side of the building (Oklahoma City Fire Department Report of the Bombing).
The building was home to sixteen federal agencies. This was the most destructive terrorist act on
American soil until the 9/11 attacks. The chief conspirators in this attack have been Timothy
McVeigh and Terry Nichols which met in 1988 at Fort Benning during basic training for the U.S.
Army. Michael Fortier which also had some degree in involvement had been McVeigh s army...
After the April 21, 1995, court hearing on the gun charges, but before McVeigh s release, federal
agents managed to take him into custody as they continued their investigation into the bombing.
After a nine hour interrogation, Terry Nichols was formally held in federal custody until his
trial. On April 25, 1995, James Nichols was also arrested, but he was released after 32 days due
to lack of evidence. McVeigh s sister Jennifer was accused of illegally mailing bullets to
McVeigh, but she was granted immunity in exchange for testifying against him. The official

eleven counts of murder and conspiracy. He was sentenced to death and executed finally after
President George W. Bush approved the execution on June 11th, 2001 through lethal injection.

1.Goal After two labs focusing purely on the Linux side of systems administration and network
services, this third lab puts Windows into the spotlight and how it deals with configuring
services as compared to the previous RHEL based configurations. Many of the same tasks which
were completed using a RHEL 7 virtual machine in lab 2, such as setting up DHCP and DNS,
are repeated in this lab on a Windows 2012 Datacenter virtual machine. This is done not only to
show the differences in service administration, but also to indirectly teach students the steps as
well as precautions that need to be taken when integrating in different enterprise server operating
system families which very well could be running the same network services, such as in the case
of this lab. Instead of merely just installing the same services and letting the clients make
decisions on what data to receive from who, this lab also presents the challenge of making these
two very different operating systems work together when the time comes to configure the DNS
server on the Windows VM. A major point I took away from this is that while the Microsoft and
ISC implementation of a DNS server can be seen as widely different, the integration of the two is
very smooth and easy due to both of them still following the base rules of the DNS protocol as
well as framework found in the numerous RFC s which describe it. Active Directory, which is also
installed on the server, was review at this point from multiple different
